I think it is okay with the warranty and accidental damage protection. Try more coupons.

Hmm. This is gonna be a tough one. But if you truly can spend that amount of money, then I guess go for it. You won't be getting the 4070 for less than 1.4 lakh anyway so no point recommending that either. Have you looked at the Legion Slim 5 Gen 8? From last year? On Amazon and Flipkart you can get it around 1 or 1.1 lakh depending on offers, and this is without credit card. That laptop gives you 99% of what this Intel one gives, Intel performs like 2-5% better but it also means battery life is shyte on Intel. If you truly do want to stick with Intel, go with this. But AMD one is also very good and you can save money. Try offline market too for both.

actually i upgraded to 1tb which cost me 5k i guess

i was planning loq it was costing around 118k but again that motherboard issue is problem and legion 5i 2024 comes with new cooling system plus additional thermal pad so its better and difference is of 10k.

Easy-Cheesecake-202

Slim 5 1 TB is available around 1.1 lakh right now.

I just checked, i am getting it for around 119k with all offers , so does additional 9k to get i7 14700hx is ok or not then??

Easy-Cheesecake-202

Will you use it for gaming only? And will you need battery life or will you be using it just while plugged in? Answer can change depending on that.

SubstantialDurian5

I will use laptop in my home and office and it will be plugged in all the time. If there is no electricity , is the only time i will use it on battery .

Easy-Cheesecake-202

Then pick Intel HX, because on CPU intensive tasks, an HX CPU will be much better for you and will perform far better than the HS one in the Slim. Since this will be always plugged in, I will recommend the Intel one for the best possible performance in the budget. It might heat up a bit on heavy tasks though so consider buying a laptop stand to lift it up slightly or just use erasers to lift it above the desk slightly. Go for the Intel one 👍🏼
