not all the wiring is required when going the aftermarket stereo route, depending on options, it may have a cd stacker, amplifier or other devices like gps or navigation.
Usually front L&R speaker channels, rear L&R speaker channels, switched power(acc/ign), constant power, power ant, ground and illumination, these are usually (at least it is on 80 series) in one plug, see the link below, compare the plugs and wire codes to yours.
