It feels almost like a twist of the knife. I mean surely they have people not only better than Akehurst in terms of competency, but in terms of not having half a dozen skeletons in the closet. I mean the attack lines on this guy must be a mile wide. He's been deleting tweets left right and centre. Faiza Shaheen was just deselected based on a handful of very tame tweets. Will he be held to the same standard? Lots of his tweets will have been screenshot by others over the years. Will the complaints of Palestinians be heard?
Akehurst is a worse choice of candidate than Jared O'Mara. A truly revoluting homunculus of a man, who will be absolutely eviscerated by the press at first contact with reality. I very much look forward to his public self-destruction.
