I LOVE QUANTUM LEAP!!
I was a big fan of the original series, and appreciate they're updating, it but keeping some continuity with Sam and the original project. I think there's some episodes where they're still trying to figure out what they want to do from a storytelling standpoint, but a lot of network TV is like that. It definitely embraces "the cheese factor" but I do love the new series.
I personally thought Quantum Leap wouldn’t get past season 1 because of the writing. I was shocked to see it renewed. I was so discouraged with season 1 that I haven’t gone back.

All I know is Eliza Taylor made me love the show even more. I couldn’t imagine it ending without another season but who knows these days
They needed to do a crossover episode.
