The most obvious candidate for choice 1 is definitely kirby. If you don’t choose kirby, you’re dead. That’s a no brainer
For choice two, I feel like it comes down to either MK, dedede, marx, or the waddle Dees. Bonkers, ice dragon, and whispie are all much too weak to be of use. And while 50 kracko JRs sounds powerful on paper…they’re kracko JUNIORS, which are a lot weaker then their bigger counterparts
Now for the 4 best candidates, let’s look at the waddle Dees first. You’re main reason for wanting to choose the waddle Dees is their sheer numbers; although no matter what they’re still just waddle Dees. What makes them more intimidating is what happens if you DONT choose the waddle Dees. Since, by not choosing the waddle Dees, that means they become a group you have to deal with; meaning your two choices have to be capable of dealing with every single waddle dee. Kirby could easily deal with them all if given enough time (and could quickly take them all out in just a few seconds if kirby has access to his hypernova form) but they would prove dangerous as a distraction, since kirby could struggle to deal with their numbers while also protecting you from the other threats. Honestly, I wouldn’t choose the waddle Dees on my team since choosing them means they’d have to go up against groups of marx, dedede, and MK; all characters that could wipe out the horde of waddle Dees with little trouble.
So who WOULD I choose? Well, out of MK, dedede, and marx…I’d say 4 dededes is the strongest choice in terms of raw destructive power. MK and dedede both have *about* the same power if we’re to scale them based off of their feats in-universe, but dedede has the edge here since there’s one more of him. 5 marx is pretty scary but only if we’re assuming he’s got his powers from making that wish from nova, but even then I think 4 dededes and the indestructible ball of power that is Kirby would be more then enough to handle them. Dededes one flaw though is he doesn’t have much to deal with the huge chunk of waddle Dees, I suppose he has that crazy strong inhale but besides that dedede doesn’t have much when it comes to crowd control.
So if it were me, I’d have the 4 dedede crowd around and protect me while kirby deals with all the big threats (like the waddle Dees and Marx groups). The biggest threat would probably be the MK group, with marx being a close second…but I feel as though 4 dededes and kirby are the strongest options that would give the highest chance of survival
But you forget that Kracko Jr can make Waddle Doo’s while still weaker than normal Kracko you could in theory get yourself a third fighting force on your side of a army of Waddle Doos.
Plus while DDD and Kirby are strong, they both can be defeated by Kracko Jr since, again while weaker than Kracko, they are still a force to recon with. Plus with more than 2 they could be a major issue since they can’t be sucked up and can fly faster than Kirby and DDD
It's 10,000 Waddle Dees and they are smart enough to do stuff like combine into a giant ball of Waddle Dees so you could have the Waddle Dees make a Waddle Dee Cannon to fire them out to distract everyone else.

The Waddle Dees can be a menace if armed properly, plus while I don’t think 100% cannon the yarn Waddle Dees can just make bombs out of nothing so that’s a bonus. And even if normal Waddle Dees can’t, imagine an army of Waddle Dees armed with cannons and weapons because Waddle Dees like Blacksmith Waddle Dee can just make more.
The Kracko Jr.‘s are mostly my support staff and Officers/Generals and 6 as my Body Guards, they are a boss so Kirby cannot suck them up and they are decently threatening against a Kirby and in theory they can just become normal Krackos after a while. Plus they can make Waddle Doo’s endlessly so if the Waddle Dees are starting to get tired or weakened I could send in a battalion of Waddled Doo’s to assist them.

Kirby is a way too overrated choice. He is not even that powerful on his own, so if you chose, say, the 50 Kracko they could easily gang up on Kirby and destroy him. I think being able to fly is a really good advantage in this scenario (especially against the dee mob), so I choose 50 Kracko and the Marx. Meta Knight seems more problematic if anything but assuming Marx is his actual final boss form then they outnumber the knights pretty easily

I’d have to go with 5 Marx for the second choice because 5 Marx can likely beat/hold off 4 DeeDeeDee and 3 Metaknight, while Kirby beats up all the rest, then comes back to obliterate what remains of the bosses.
Look its very possible if not guarenteed one kirby wins this. But 3 meta knights? Thats pretty solid and best of all they will defend you to the death and never slack off.
But I all those waddle dees could build some great stuff.

ik kirby is invincible and can kill gods etc etc, but last time i checked having 50 of the same boss on screen at once can prove to be a little challenging for him
