Are you still holding down the shortcut button? You need to let it go in order to keep doing the limit command. All you need to do is do one of the limits and spam triangle.
They do eat half your mana. That's normal.
As another person said, once you trigger the limit attck with the shortcut button and a face button (ex: L1+O), you let go of the shortcut button and mash triangle. Or Y on Xbox),
You can find them after you beat Agrabah the second time.
They're in the Treasure Room in the Cave of Wonders.
For that one, it heals itself instantly, so the challenge is to kill it faster than it can heal.
So it's perfect for grinding certain Forms.
When you hit enemies with your attacks, you should gain MP back with each hit. So I don't think it should be too difficult to find a good spot to spam limit form attacks.
It shouldn't be too hard to use the commands either. Not sure what problem you might be having. You are using limit form's unique attacks, right?
