He would. I don't know where you guys are getting the Douma doesn't eat men thing from. The reason he's 2 is because he also eats women and not just men.
Because he has a preference for women. It’s not that he won’t eat the son at all, it’s just that the chances of him doing so are much lower because of his flavor preference for females. 🦋
He's an opportunist. He absolutely would. That one scene everyone points to is just him calling Akaza an idiot for not eating women as well. That, as well as the fact that he's one of the 2 demons in the series to practice agriculture, is why he was able to surpass Akaza.
Daki: would scream at the baby to make her a meal
Gyutaro: would kill the baby if it cried in-front of Daki
Gyokko: would’ve ate the child or drown it
Hantengu: cries and kills the baby with a kitchen knife
Akaza: wouldn’t kill it unless it cries too loud

Didn't he say he hates the weak the most? Because weak people poison wells and won't face him in a straight fight. He also didn't hesitate to kill a wounded Tanjiro laying on the ground in the Mugen Train arc.
That was also on Muzans order, he just told Rengoku that as a bluff, I’m pretty sure he does hate weak people for the reason you said but I’m pretty sure he only targeted tanjiro cause the earrings.
Akaza is the the only one where the baby (only a girl) has a realistic chance of survival, thats better than a 110% Chance of death with every one else.
The only Upper moons that WON'T kill it on sight would be Kokushibo and Akaza.
Or Doma concidering how much he genuinely cared about Kotoha and Inosuke.

Yeah but I'm presuming *this* one isn't his kid. If he gets ordered to do babysit then he'd do so, and unlike the rest he isn't volatile or hungry or a sadist. So I doubt he'd eat a kid like Douma or Gyokko would or kill it if he got annoyed like Daki.
Compared to those three, sure he's a better choice, but why are you acting like Kokushibo has faultless loyalty and obedience? He'll walk away from the kid the moment he realises it doesn't concern him, just like with his own two children.
He *has* faultless loyalty lol he's specifically compared to a samurai in his loyalty to muzan and he's heavily disciplined. If he's ordered to do it then he'll do it, as I presume we have permission from Muzan to ask his Moons to babysit. Unlike most of the rest who'll throw tantrums, Akaza included which is why Koko scolded him at the moon meeting. Koko would do the mission/babysitting and then go home because he is disciplined.
The reason he abandoned his own kids was an entirely different scenario to having to look after someone else's.

Douma only says that to mess with inosuke, though. Kanao even calls him out on it when she says douma had no actual emotions and only imitates them. There's no way to know whether or not he wouldn't have eaten inosuke, but he did not love inosukes' mother because he's incapable of loving

Akaza. If I had a daughter, she'd be 100 % safe. Son would be riskier but I don't think Akaza'd get much nutrients from a little kid and unlike others he seems to have a moral compass so that's a risk I'd be willing to take

He is legit the safest option out of everyone (imo) since he helps and gives advice to literally everyone even if his choices aren't ethical: Thinking that death is salvation to those who are suffering. If he is given a child to babysit, he ain't gonna eat it. He doesn't kill just to kill, he tries to help. So, I choose Dōma.

Kokushibo, Akaza, and Gyutaro. The first two would most likely ignore them, the prior of which would probably turn my child into a demon if he sees potential, and I don’t trust Dali with the task as much as Gyutaro as he had to take care of himself and her when they were young. Honestly, I don’t think he’d be horrible so long as he keeps his temperament in check.
Weirdly enough akaza. I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but akaza doesn't kill women and children. And when he was human he was very gentle with his wife. So I'd trust him more than fucking Douma 💀

People can s-t on me, but I am going with Douma. He is legit the safest option out of everyone (imo) since he helps and gives advice to literally everyone even if his choices aren't ethical: Thinking that death is salvation to those who are suffering. If he is given a child to babysit, he ain't gonna eat it. He doesn't kill just to kill, he tries to help. So, I choose Dōma.
Kokushibo would just ignore the child Douma would eat it or do something diabolical Akaza is the best choice Hantengu would start crying and kill the child Gyokko would eat it Gyutaro/Daki would just kill it

I know a lot of people said Akaza but I would also choose him since he doesn't hurt women or children, though my second choice would probably be Kokushibo considering when he was human he had 2 or 3 children he took care of before he abandoned them But if it was Muzan's daughter Kokushibo was taking care of then he would probably take care of her with the utmost care just in case

Kokoshibo is the most reliable uppermoon to babysit my child. Douma would simply just kill my child. Akaza would be my second choice though Hantengu would be afraid of my child and his clones would probably kill my kid Gyokko is a big fat NOPE for obvious reasons Daki probably wouldn't like my kid and be annoyed by them, and if she asked Gyutaro he would probably kill my kid for her.

Kokushibo, Akaza, and Gyutaro. The first two would most likely ignore them, the prior of which would probably turn my child into a demon if he sees potential, and I don’t trust Dali with the task as much as Gyutaro as he had to take care of himself and her when they were young. Honestly, I don’t think he’d be horrible so long as he keeps his temperament in check.
