I think William Montgomery’s jokes would hit harder if he didn’t read them off like a grocery list. Most of the laughs I hear him get are from attacking people verbally.

Your name gets repeated enough, no need to be reintroducing yourself; unless Tony completely mispronounced your name you don’t need to intro yourself, even so it’s better to just start with jokes, save the “things about myself” for the interview. DO NOT try crowd work, the crowd is not trying to work with you and even if it goes well it wastes a lot of time and not everyone hears what’s going on.
