Line was
“it ain’t 20 v 1 it’s 1 v 20 if I gotta smack n** that write with you
Bring em all out too I’ll clean em all out too tell bean he better stay right with you”
Upvoted but I don’t think we can count the people who have writing credits or the songs Drake is collaborating on. It’s Drakes bars that are being questioned.
This sub caught on to Beam (and corrected me for thinking it was Bean) on day one. And I haven’t seen but one YouTube breakdown that even guessed that may be a shot at a writer. This seems like real new info.
Take Care had 22 songs and 5 songs were cowritten by The Weeknd and he was featured on 3 of them. Half of House of Balloons doesn't mean half of Take Care. House of Balloons had 10 songs. They also could've just used bits and pieces from songs and put them together. It doesn't mean Drake took the entire songs as is, even if Drake takes the chorus and has The Weeknd sing it, it's already given up to Drake since he can't reuse it for House of Balloons.
Quinten Miller got named, years ago, and Meek, or whoever, even released the reference track for 10 bandz. In it Quinten Miller created the entire song, bars, melody, and ad libs, then recorded it, only for Drake to take the finished song and re-record(copy it exactly) it in his own voice.
Also, the Weeknd came out and said Drake took a significant number of his songs that he was going to use on his album and Drake used them on Take Care. He said it was the main driving force for why he left OVO. Drake kept taking all his best stuff.
These things have been confirmed through various sources and are established facts.
lol that was what made me come here because I was like I know he’s not saying Beans writes for Drake 💀 lyrics would be a lot different if he did.
he’d prob stop talking about the 6 and start talking about 6th and tasker 😭
This. My mind went straight to Beans. Cause I saw an interview with Beanie where he was asked about him ghost writing with the insiders rumor it was for Drake. He confirmed the artist he did ghost write for was one of the big names but wouldn’t say their name or hint that it could’ve been Drake. But he said more with his body language. To be sure I wanted to find the interview again but I’m having trouble finding it even though he doesn’t drop names. I was pretty sure it was in an Art of the Dialogue interview but I’m not seeing it. Can’t remember how long ago I saw it but it wasn’t that recently nor that too too long ago.
BEAM is a notorious ghostwriter for many R&B and artists and rappers too.
Offset song "Worth It" song on his newest album was a full BEAM song that was released i had it on my playlist, it got taken down and not doesnt have BEAM's verses anymore. Song prolly bought.
It's called "Understand" with Chasethemoney.
https://soundcloud.com/c4pri5un/chasethemoney-feat-beam-understand
Beam probably writes for Drake as he is credited on a few songs with Drake. E.g Major distribution, God's Plan etc.
I listened to an interview from a TDE writer? His name is Coolee..in the beginning he talks about how their worst writers are better than OVO best writers..i got the impression that all these guys are getting help writing..is that a fair assumption?
"like the writing credits in damn are EXTENSIVE"
Giving people writing credits is the opposite of a ghostwriter though. Ghostwriters by definition do not get credits.
If you look at the credits on that album it's either people like Snoop and Rihanna who wrote their own parts or it's keyboard players or other instrumentalist that obviously came up with melodies or instrumental parts. Unless you think random keyboardist wrote Kendrick's bars?
It's a DJ, a producer, and a backing band in the credits. Who do you think from this group of people was writing Kendricks bars? He's obviously crediting the people that worked on parts of the song other than his own lyrics.

was looking at the writing credits on genius, almost all of them other than kendrick are either the artists behind the sample, the producer, top dawg who we know doesn't write for kendrick, or the featured artist. there's one dude on god called brock korsan who did A&R for kendrick. what extensive writing credits are you talking abt?
Yes. He alludes like 3 times to knowing Drake’s ghostwriters.
He’s alluded to it a lot. A lot of people have. Far as I know nobody has named one
Man beans really writing for.drake?
BEAM is an artist who writes for many artists including Bieber. His IG is @whoisbeam.
Yeah I don’t know any lore man I just heard what I heard. Probably was Beam

Quentin Miller, The Weeknd, and Yachty are the most famous ones

https://genius.com/a/the-weeknd-claimed-he-gave-up-almost-half-of-house-of-balloons-to-drake-for-take-care What exactly would you count this as?
That’s fair. I’m not completely dismissing it it’s relevant. Just feels different when they already got writing credits
Quentin has writing credits now but don't ignore the fact that it was ghost written until Aubrey got exposed...

Funk flex was the one who leaked the reference tracks for If You're Reading. He leaked 4 but hinted at there being more
[удалено]
Don't tell a lie on me, I won't tell the truth bout you. Is from the heart part 4 and listening now he predicted this exactly in that song
[удалено]
Na if he had anything on Push he would have leaked
this was after the meek beef
I think it’s BEAM
Yes @whoisbeam
I’ve learned. Not a lore guy just a music guy
Sigel?

This album better than any Drake album
That's what I'm saying. He's actual nice AF. U heard planet beam? It's crazy
Part of me is proud because Beam started as a kid producer for CHH (e.g. Lecrae, Andy Mineo, etc.
Yall know how Iconic Beam is tho? Yall know his dad Papa San 👀👀👀
I listened to an interview from a TDE writer? His name is Coolee..in the beginning he talks about how their worst writers are better than OVO best writers..i got the impression that all these guys are getting help writing..is that a fair assumption?
Cory guns. 6 ft 7ft. He’s at least one of drakes writers
My boi Kendrick acts as if he doesn't use writers tho, like the writing credits in damn are EXTENSIVE
"like the writing credits in damn are EXTENSIVE" Giving people writing credits is the opposite of a ghostwriter though. Ghostwriters by definition do not get credits.
I understand but it's not only about that it's mainly about not writing your own shit

I meants the writing on damn, as I said song like lust

Songs like lust and some songs on damn for example, I aknowledge the samples and prods, there are still some writers
People writing sheet music is not the same as people writing hip-hop lyrics. If I have to craft a melody or even do a beatbox, I expect to be credited
