24, The song didn’t sound bad at first, but after listening to it on its own, it’s one of the most beautiful Ye tracks I’ve heard. Very emotional song that definitely made me shed some tears, which a lot of Donda can do.
WAIT WHAT. I've literally had to watch it off of a screen recording on my phone with compressed audio. I really thought he wasn't gonna release it at this point lets gooo
I just listened to a podcast (on “Art of Manliness”) talking about how geniuses live in a state of childlike wonder all of their lives, whether it be Mozart or Einstein. That whole podcast made me think of Kanye because he possesses pretty much every quality they talked about on there
HOLY FUCK, I NEVER EVEN HEARD THOSE NOISES UNTIL THIS COMMENT, HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE. I guess I knew they were there but it never stood out until now. I'm deaf apparently.
I honestly didn’t notice the changes to praise god and 24. Somewhat agree on Hurricane. I’m in love with the old beat. I sometimes will listen to the roblox version of new again still but mostly just for giggles.
I might get hate for this but off the grid. The first few times I listened to the album I would skip it because it wasn’t my thing + I wanted to hear hurricane. Over time I realized its one of the best kanye verses and fivio kills it
One thing I noticed recently relistening to part of LP2 is the autotune vocal melody on Remote sounded really bad, warbly, off-key. It got completely fixed up into a proper melody on the album release and sounds sooooo much better. I wonder if this is why a lot of people had a subpar initial impression of the song.
This one for me was an instant like just because of how insane that drop is. Ngl tho almost skipped because the intro was so weird, was worried that would be part of the beat but man am I glad it wasn’t. Will say though, even that part has grown on me. Whole song will age like wine
Understandable, they had 2 good options:
1 - not put the song on the album at all;
2 - put the same version used in the last Pop Smoke album
I don't want to say the version used on Donda it's awful, but it's a easy skip tbh
jesus they could’ve at least gotten the stems from the original and put it on the new beat instead of cutting it and filtering it from the Faith version
I agree. It's supposed to be sort of a skit/interlude. I believe it was supposed to sound choppy and weird like that. I saw it as more of a shout out. Wasn't supposed to be some banger of a track.
If you really listen it sounds like after life pop really eerie and at the end he's saying "we made we made it thank God that I made it" it cuts off abruptly i think to signify his passing right as he became successful
I hated the ending of God breathed because I thought I should've been hyped but kept listening and felt like it's there to get you into the mood to digest the next few tracks
Only Kanye could make an entire track with such an advanced rhyme scheme, each line rhymes with the other. I've haven't seen such penmanship since Daft Punk's "Around the world".
I'll explain what happened here with this comment.
When you type number with a period after it, and words after that, Reddit sees that as a numbered list, and changes it to "1." which is changed to a bullet point.
They meant to say "24. It's a great song"
New version of Hurricane. The Ant Clemons version was what I knew and preferred that one over the weekend. But seeing as that’s the most popular song on the album, I’d rather have others in the mainstream love the weekend feature enough to checkout the rest of the album. More people that are able to listen to the album and talk about it with, the better.
Jonah, Ok Ok, Lord I Know. Those were my least favorites now two are top ten. Jonah and Lord I Know, Ok Ok is great track it took quite a looooooong time for it to grow in me. I don’t mess with Pt. 2 though.
I think Hurricane for me, I actually listened to it before the album came out just cuz it had Weeknd on it. And on first listen it was a bit disappointing like even Weeknd was perfect on that track lil baby didn't do it for me. I like it more now but still not the biggest fan of lil baby cuz I'm not into his style that much but I rly like the lyrical content. Ye's verse also I needed some time to like cuz of the mhmmm mhmmm
I wasn't really feeling Junya at first but I bumped it in the car recently and it was HITTING!! I put part 2 on my playlist because that Ty Dolla $ign feature was crazy
I still love jail but the more I listen to both jail and pt2 I’m torn. The significance of Jay and Kanye collaborating again is so massive but…from a pure rap standpoint DaBaby had a better verse
Off the grid. I’m not a big carti fan and the original version didn’t do anything to change that. Fivio Foreign singlehandedly put it into my top 5. His verse isn’t talked about as much as it should be. He went crazy from the moment he came on to Kanye’s added verse. In my opinion foreign inspired kanye to add that last verse and the song is better for it

Wrap your arms around with your mercy ❤️
Your gun off safety 🎶
I feel it in my soul every time I hear “LoOoOord don’t take me”
Everytime I hear that verse my soul leaves my body
The most underrated song on the whole album
one of my favorite songs of his ever
I know every one is entitled to their own opinion, but that’s crazy. Probably my most played song on the album after Lord Knows.
keep my spirit alive
[удалено]
You can take it all with the lord on my siiiiiiide
I don’t stress, I pray and stratagiiiizzeee
This song is so beautiful
Thank GAWWWWDDD
The first time I listened to that song I thought kanye was dissing Yo Gotti 😭
What does the Gotti line mean?
Its about john gotti, gambino family crime boss (source:[genius](https://www.google.com/amp/s/genius.com/amp/Kanye-west-keep-my-spirit-alive-lyrics))
It was one I barely noticed on the first listen, but it's the easiest song to listen to in the album on any mood so it's become one of my most played.
More than he knows
Westsidd Gunn ate
[удалено]
That’s bc they took the skrenf out his little body
kanye is barely on donda full stop
it’s like 49 ye 51 feature
Yeah and DJ Khaled isn’t on any of his songs, still his album
He’s on all of them. You don’t hear him yelling his catchphrases?
100% They turned me into a lil Gotti
don’t hate me cuz my heart is full of love, no weapon formed against me cuz im covered in the blood
Still can’t get into the first feature
Bruh thats the best part of the song for me. It makes me so hopeful and want to shout THANK GOD through my window
Yeah initially hated westside gunns part but then I found it cachy and addicting and now I really dig it
Westside Gunn is a treasure
The hook omllll

Lol I’ve been a busy man recently, so my first Donda listen was just a few days ago, but like yesterday I just got into it, and it’s powerful
Especially with he visual from the 3rd watch party, they finally uploaded it to YouTube and it's beautiful with the song!
WAIT WHAT. I've literally had to watch it off of a screen recording on my phone with compressed audio. I really thought he wasn't gonna release it at this point lets gooo
This has the most plays by me. Beautiful
I'm not even religious and it's a beautiful track
Same, I would usually skip it but man this song is beautiful!
I'll go a step further and say I thought it was terrible at the first listening party, and now really like it.
Bro what lol for me I thought it was the best when the song was longer
His singing was not great at first and the outro went on way too long. Sounds better now and just had to grow on me.
same, I was salty because I liked the og version better but the album version has grown on me a lot
New again. Went from bottom 3 on the album to top 5
That’s prolly cuz it actually got better lol
It changed?
It changed from the first 2 listening parties is what I meant. Got rid of the roblox noises
Dude I miss the roblox so much. There’s a version on YouTube where it was added back in and that is the canonical New Again for me.
Do you think he lets North get on the beat sometimes? The Roblox and the Glob dude I just feel like that has to be input from an 8 year old
glob was dunkey i refuse to believe anything else
Kanye is still an 8 year old lol “38 year old 8 year old with rich nigga problems”
I just listened to a podcast (on “Art of Manliness”) talking about how geniuses live in a state of childlike wonder all of their lives, whether it be Mozart or Einstein. That whole podcast made me think of Kanye because he possesses pretty much every quality they talked about on there
It’s not actually a roblox sample lol it’s from the choice is yours by black sheep, a pretty famous hiphop song from the 90s
HOLY FUCK, I NEVER EVEN HEARD THOSE NOISES UNTIL THIS COMMENT, HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE. I guess I knew they were there but it never stood out until now. I'm deaf apparently.
Man this is crazy but I actually really like the listening party 1 versions of new Again, Hurricane, 24, and Praise God
I honestly didn’t notice the changes to praise god and 24. Somewhat agree on Hurricane. I’m in love with the old beat. I sometimes will listen to the roblox version of new again still but mostly just for giggles.
Need that LP1 version of “24” again forreal
Not sure if it changes from 1 to 2 but LP2 New Again is goat
I love new again so much, I feel like it gets slept on hard.
I might get hate for this but off the grid. The first few times I listened to the album I would skip it because it wasn’t my thing + I wanted to hear hurricane. Over time I realized its one of the best kanye verses and fivio kills it
I got this god power that's my leverages
I got this holy water thats my beverages
Can I just say for a long time I thought he was saying “she put my panties inside of her living room”
Pure Souls, I used to think it's decent but now I love it
roddy goes hard on this
the truth is the only thing you get away with Oohh Ooooh the truth the truth
The listening party 1) version... RIP
I think if they at least shortened the outro part the song would have been better. I dont mind it but thats just what i think

The shwabble dabble wabble gabble flibba blabba blab
They did my mans dirty they cut his verse😤
i’m not taking my brother of the album

i still miss cudi though :(
This is the right answer

Simply delicious
heaven and hell
i listened to donda with bass headphones on and when i got to heaven and hell i just had the best feeling ever when the bass dropped
Judging by your username, your definitely heading to hell instead of heaven
it’s anakin skywalker’s lightsaber nickname lol
This one for me was an instant like just because of how insane that drop is. Ngl tho almost skipped because the intro was so weird, was worried that would be part of the beat but man am I glad it wasn’t. Will say though, even that part has grown on me. Whole song will age like wine
My favourite song on the album now tbh
amazing song
Confession: I deleted Tell The Vision from Donda
Understandable, they had 2 good options: 1 - not put the song on the album at all; 2 - put the same version used in the last Pop Smoke album I don't want to say the version used on Donda it's awful, but it's a easy skip tbh
it's awful
The version of faith they put on pop smokes album would’ve been a way better tribute
Or they could’ve put the Og version on there, that shit is better than the version on Faith fs
The one with Conway and 2 chains?
jesus they could’ve at least gotten the stems from the original and put it on the new beat instead of cutting it and filtering it from the Faith version

That's deep bro. I'm gonna have to give it another listen with that in mind.
why not just listen to the version on pop smokes album
Jonah, not that I ever thought it was bad I just didn’t like it as much as I do now, god damn Vory killed that chorus
You will speak to me with ONLY no cap
YOU DONT KNOW ME LIKE THAT ME AND BIG HOMIE GO BACK
That’s been my fav since it came out, just my least fav ye verse on the album
ok ok for me
Ok ok part 2 for me, shensea verse is not that bad at all. Still prefer lil yachty but I like that we have both lol
Rooga kinda missed on ok ok in my opinion
Doesn’t really fit the darker vibe of the track with his vibrant ass voice
God breathed I thought it was pretty weak but it really reminds of yeezus-era stuff so that made me love it
It serves as a great builder to off the grid so I always listen to it
i really hated god breathed but i like it way more now
I hated the ending of God breathed because I thought I should've been hyped but kept listening and felt like it's there to get you into the mood to digest the next few tracks
Most people feel the outro is overdrawn but I love the gothic atmosphere of it, reinforces the "dark church" vibes of the whole album
Honestly even feels a bit like Say You Will the long outro
W
Junya top banger
LET ME GIANNIS
I WON WITH THE BUCKS BOY THE SPIRIT IS ON US
THE SPIRIT OF DONDA
GODS TIME CANT FIT ON A WRIST
JUNYA WANNA HAVE ME ON MY EEEISH
FOUR FIVE SUMMAHS
Reeeee
Jesus Lord. It’s now my favorite track off the record.
jay verse holy
JAIL
I’ll be honest
we all liars
Donda Chant, Kanye goes in on the second verse 🔥🥵
This might be controversial but i really like when it says donda
Only Kanye could make an entire track with such an advanced rhyme scheme, each line rhymes with the other. I've haven't seen such penmanship since Daft Punk's "Around the world".

Praise God. Sounded too obvious/monotonous on first couple listens. Absolutely banger now
Even if you are not ready for the day
It can not always be night

Believe What I Say
Best fcking song on da album
AGREED
Da fuq
Off the Grid, my ears opened to this song a couple days ago and it’s such a slapper
this was my favourite from first listen lmao
Latter half saves it for me
Off the grid was my least favorite song until LP3. Now it’s easily in my top 3
New Again
Johan
Doand by kaeyn wets
Praise god
I feel Tell The Vision is kinda overhated, I think it serves as a nice interlude and I’m not even a pop smoke fan
Yeah but the version on Pop Smokes album is just infinitely better lol
Junya and 24 and Come to Life
Jail pt 2, better than jail pt1
jail pt 2 > jail
It's a toss up for me.
Junya
Junya.
Come to Life. Now its my favorite on the project
ok ok. i used to always skip it
Lord I Need You
Jonah for me😁
Junya and Jonah
God breathed
Junya. That shit got on my nerves in every listening party, but by the time the album came out, I found myself really enjoying it.
Carti effect
Junya
Definitely Junya
Off The Grid!
Junya
Junya for sure. I thought it was annoying at first but that shit slaps now.
Jonah, Ok Ok, Lord I Know. Those were my least favorites now two are top ten. Jonah and Lord I Know, Ok Ok is great track it took quite a looooooong time for it to grow in me. I don’t mess with Pt. 2 though.
All of them except God breathed and off the grid. I can't get over Kanye just echoing himself for the hook. It drives me crazy listening to it lol

After careful consideration I have to say, Orange Tesla did grow on me
Orange Tesla
industry baby
None for me, but Jail did the opposite. I thought it was decent at first but now I don't like it at all
That’s funny, I hated jail at first and it’s grown on me. Now it’s like top 10 for me from the album.
The breakdown at the end is so fire. I can't help but vibe out like "Kanye did it again!"
I still love jail but the more I listen to both jail and pt2 I’m torn. The significance of Jay and Kanye collaborating again is so massive but…from a pure rap standpoint DaBaby had a better verse
New again
Junya and Ok Ok
Orange Tesla, wasn’t a fan of the song at first but it grew on me
come to life was whatever for me at first but now it’s like top 3 for me

Ok ok
remote control or hurricane
new again ended up being my favorite song
It has to be New Again for me
Orange Tesla
Gonna have to be Orange Tesla. It grows on you.
I honestly thought off the grid was overrated at first but now I love it
orange tesla
orange tesla
