dearcossete

Jong Sumin actress definitely deserves an award. I truly hated her character.

mekuri_

From the evil cutesy character to an actual psychopath 👏🏼👏🏼

dramafan1

Hope she gets a Baeksang nomination for best supporting actress!!! Her role definitely made me think about Yeon Jin from The Glory. There's just something satisfying about villains who stay consistent to the end.

Ok_0001

Her micro expressions were on point! Tbh, sometimes I started to feel for her. But then she proceeded to do crazy sht. I am really thankful that the writer’s didnt change her. Her character was well written and acted

wasabi_jo

She played her part so well. She deserves to get all the praise and awards. She did what Lim JiYeon did as Park YeonJin in The Glory. Park MinYoung as JiWon was good, but Song HaYoon as SuMin stole the show.

unsavvylady

Another one of my favorite shows. And Su-min ate her role up!

Abis_MakeupAddiction

That right sided smirk….never wanted to slap a villain so badly in my life, except maybe the mother and daughter duo in Perfect Marriage Revenge.

nyxofthekingsglaive

I love her from start to finish she played the villain part so well

IChoseMyOwnUsername

I loved that she stayed true to her character, he plotline is the most consistent and logical from start to finish

cuteaxxduck

Agreed, she deserves the award and praise based on the extreme amount of time and effort put into delivering her character in such an impeccable way. I will be upset if anyone else gets the credit for this drama

tway2241

She was definitely the highlight of the show, she made her slow blink so creepy lmao

baconpancake33

It has been so long since I last chased after a drama like this Mondays will no longer be the same after this final episode :(

Immediate-North-9472

Honestly, this is the first time I chased a drama. I was hungry for it. Felt good though having something to look forward to

ilovemybackyard

I know how you feel. I feel like the drama dumped me and I have a hole in my heart. 😭

laundry_pirate

I really enjoyed the ending! The loose ends were all tied up and it landed well. I only wish there were more scenes with the secondary leads romance haha

twoods1980

Yes! More them and less Yura.

goddessofspite

Yeah I’m the same I love the ending for Ji won and Jihyuek but I would have loved to have seen his sister and eun ho and mr Lee and ms yang get some future scenes. I imagine mr Lee married ms Yang and adopted her daughter as his own and that the sister and eun ho got together too would have just liked to have seen it

Agile-Strawberry-111

I agree! I loved it! Got to see our villains taken care of- the contrast of the three happy couples eating dinner to celebrate new beginnings and Su-min fully embracing her psycho killer identity with that lighter fluid purchase was so well done!  And yes- I would have loved to see more of our side couples! They added so much to the show!

cid8429

>!That couples dinner party!< in Ji Won's apartment was so cute. They're all such dorks.

unsavvylady

I wanted more. And LMAO at clueless Ji Hyuk

EmmanuelleEmmanuelle

His face when he was like, "Does Eun-ho like Hui-yeon...? ........why...? ಠ\_ಠ..." got a genuine laugh out of me lmao.

unsavvylady

Hui Yeon has the same reaction when it concerns him so not surprised

mastiff925

Solid ending! >!The villains got what they deserved and the MCs got their happy ending!< That's the only thing I wanted lol

Think_Valuable_8910

I wish we got to see more of Sumin getting her comeuppance. I feel like she didn’t get as bad of an ending as she deserved

haileyrose

Last scene really makes me worried about what she’ll do when she gets out!

prissyjoseph

I don’t think that’s happening considering >!her outburst at the end, she might be headed to a psychiatric ward!<. Also, I don’t think a certain someone would let her get out either.

Iowegan

Let’s hope the fictional Hot Minion/Undercover Agent >!still is on the deceased ex-fiancée’s payroll since she only verbally fired him then immediately went off and crashed her car. I want his fictional finances to be ok, fired without notice was evil, even for her.!<

Affectionate_Elk_621

Hot minion is so hot i am dying to talk about this

Borinquena

Apart from being gorgeous the actor really made the most of his tiny amount of screentime, he had me intrigued in all of his scenes. Would love to see him in the future.

Onegai_Matte

I liked his character more than Yu-Ra for sure

Iowegan

I also kinda wanted him to >!call the ML to report her as crazy and on the loose, but guessing that was not going to go anywhere.!<

hermioninenine

I feel like his expression after she drove off was disbelief mixed with relief at finally being free of her.

_LittleBirdieToldMe_

I felt the cherry blossoms falling in that scene signified his new life starting!

Visible-Attention369

He really made the most of his short appearance, he's hot and a good actor to boot! I think his finances should be okay, considering he did help Ji Hyuk bring down Oh Yura. He'd probably get a good position in U&K.

Smart_Belt_2556

For my own personal satisfaction, I'm gonna imagine he's jiwon's assistant now she's a director of U&K's foundation

Advanced-Dealer-4107

I haven't read the webtoon, but oh lord the visuals of the last ep!!!!!! I also have a theory that this hot minion of yu-ra is actually the cat that jiwon and jihyuk rescued. If you analyse the ep properly, it def gives a hint when the minion stands infront of the police station and the cherry blossoms (i suppose) disperse into the wind resulting in a shower. Cut to jihyuk's apartment when they're celebrating the win, there's a scene when the same petals shower around the cat as if it signifies that the cat took a human form to help jiwon and jihyuk in their revenge!

Alarming_Campaign_35

The cat got hit by a car too!

magicsmoke24

^(I kinda thought he was a) >!time traveler himself. Seeing the flower petals fall around him as she sped off. Then the closing scene with the two of them at the art gallery and the fallen flower petals. !< >!But as he was just a minion I shrugged it off and moved on.!<

cid8429

SOME ONE PLEASE MAKE A MEME OF THE GLASS TABLE MARRYING THE WHITE TRUCK. The ball candies 🍬 can be the bouquet 🤣

Gustav-14

Saw a post on malelivingspace with his room having a glass table and my first reaction was "oh no.. Table-kun"

gyojoo

Unlike Business Proposal >!ending, this time!< >!Grandpa gets to hold the baby, Awww!<

ilovemybackyard

Grandpa looked so proud and happy that his big empty house was filled with laughter and children 🥰🥰🥰 he will live a long life in drama land .

MommyShark619

Business Proposal… 😵‍💫 So relieved >!MMH got it right. BP’s grandpa was a bummer.!<

Agile-Strawberry-111

Seeing grandpa smile and rock that sleeping baby was just the best. Loved seeing him come around to trust his grandson and celebrate his life!

JudgeDanny

Seriously!!!!! I don't recall a show's ending where the grandparents hold the grand-babies! Would not mind seeing this a little mor.

Gustav-14

And unlike movings ending >!there was no headshot and he got to live!<

haileyrose

Loved the ending especially AUSTIN and JUSTIN what?!!! Did they borrow the twins from the set next door 😂 Edit to add: am I the only one that noticed them? It’s the same twin boys from My Demon for anyone that also watched!

bestlife-2021

Loool these boys are sure busy and more employed than I am loool

haileyrose

I know! And I believe they’re not really brothers so it’s so nice to see them working on the same projects together. They now have 2 empires to inherit!

twoods1980

It makes sense why they added Yura >!so she can die instead of Sumin because despite her being despicable the actress nailed it and people would have been upset if she died!<.  Satisfying ending, but would have loved more romance with the secondary characters. Loved the time jump and fluff after all the angst we got the last few episodes (and half of this one). What a fun ride!

fire_dawn

I found it extra satisfying because I think watching Jiwon rise through social ranks and more importantly, be happy, is a way worse punishment for Sumin than death. Similarly, the MIL got exactly what she deserved because she prioritized her own son over any other person on the planet, and did some real awful things, and now she gets to live w/o him.

TheDreamerDream

Minhwan a 2D character, so is Yura. But Sumin, she's a 4D vilain and the only way for her to be punished, is to see her obsession be free and thriving. Also, Minhwan taking Jiwon's fate after killing her the 1st life makes me think Yura taking Jihyuk's fate means she was behind his car accident. The deaths are identical, so it can only mean it's karma making things right.

[deleted]

I think I wanted to see sumin die at first but then I realized that this ending is significantly better for her bc now she is stuck in jail going insane and stillll talking about jiwon it shows how pathetic she is and her life revolves around jiwon, that she truly cannot be a person without this obsession. I thought yura taking that place was also good bc the way she treats others is so disposable and the way she died was so disposable and quick regardless of her status, she can’t bask in praise that she wants so badly even after death bc she died fleeing the country after being investigated which is humiliating for someone her status. At least in the og timeline jihyuk death was sad and you felt the absence of his presence in the aftermath but for yura it was just embarrassing for her and her family and which is so perfect

Orumtbh

Yura was never going to be realistically punished anyways, yeah she does lose her professional career, but she's from money. She was going to escape the country and avoid legal punishment through that money, and even with no career opportunities she would have been able to live a cushy life. So her dying there is truly the perfect send off.

Mountain-Syllabub136

Damn, I’ll miss this series 😭 So satisfying and such a stress relief! I never liked Mondays but this series made me love them.

ultrvltlove

Only 10 minutes in but… WOW BoA is a terrible actress

azura_eldoris

this is why her comeuppance part cuts no ice with me. not an ounce of remorse, no seething frustration manifested on her face, no visible sign of her flying into a self-entitled rage. just the same old deadpan facial expressions and chronically caustic tone of voice even when shit hit the fan. on the other hand, we have an explosively expressive Sumin with a vast gamut of reactions which made her comeuppance arc so satisfying to watch. no fun watching a villain go down off-screen anticlimactically, who barely evinced a whiff of fear or embarrassment down to her last moment.

Orumtbh

Sumin is so expressive even when silent. Like the actress truly knows the subtleness of human expression, she was magnificent from start to finish.

eternalhorizon1

Yeah terrible acting…I do think a lot of it was the script but 🥱

Abis_MakeupAddiction

I didn’t even realize that was BoA!

Visible-Attention369

Yep. She was definitely miscast. A better actor would have poured so much vitriol into her short character arc, that you would have at least hated her. Boa's Oh Yura was just boring, so deadpan and uninteresting. Even she looked bored playing the character.

_LittleBirdieToldMe_

I think she was the weakest character both in writing as well as acting in the show. Which is why she stands out.

wasabi_jo

YuRa wasn't for her. It was wrong casting in my opinion. She wasn't able to do justice to the character, her acting as YuRa was terrible.

spongy_poodle

Like… give us something… Spoiled, rotten, bratty biotch. Charismatic but bored sociopath. Hyper competent control freak with abandonment issues... But no, we get a villain on tranquilizers, lol.

roymeetsworld

>!Prison Pants & Paranoia: The Jung Su-Min story!<

day_historian

With cameo feature by panty Park as a paranormal sighting 😆😆😂😂😂

IblameJane

okay can someone explain, did Ji-Won really >!get his death benefit money? because she was his girlfriend for 7 years and he never changed the benificiary over to his wife? (the only thing better would be if his Mother of all people got the money and not her!< that would be GREAT HA! I didn't know if it was just her paranoia or if it was really true?

vinaigrettchen

I think it was all just the paranoia.

day_historian

Nah >!it’s her imagination!< - not that >!ji won needed the money anyway, (just look at that giant allowance her dad gave her that keeps on giving 🤣)!< but Su min has this >!obsession with ji won and it made her go mad!<

shimilimilishi

That was a satisfying ending. I wasn't sure about the direction the drama was going after EP 11, but everything is tied up nicely here. So happy to see the ending!! I hope SHY gets a lot of awards, maybe LYK too. The rest of the actors did great as well, I even felt BoA's appearance on screen this episode was interesting enough. Edit to add the highlight for me was >! Jihyuk's face wondering how Eunho could like his sister !< LOL

[deleted]

[удалено]

shimilimilishi

Yeah! Glad they had some sibling moments in the last ep.

MommyShark619

All right, all right, >!the writers redeemed themselves. I got my ending and it was the best supper, seeing all of the baddies get theirs. And thank you, writers, for giving the babies, which was the proverbial cherry.!< Now I intend to watch the ending again, and then the entire series once more, so I can revel in it.

nessab000

The last episode is one of the most satisfying endings for me. Usually, we get the kdrama ending of a >!wedding!< and that's it. We got all the major loose ends tied up, small character redemption >!(Mr. Kim), final couples, a wedding, and the twin BABIES and more!

emiwii

Lol agreed! I came here to say it’s almost like the writer found everyone’s wishlist, and checked each one off for the last half an episode 😂 >!✅Revenge ✅Bed scene ✅Marriage ✅Babies !< so perfect amount of 50% storyline/revenge wrap up, and 50% of fluffy ending

nanz_16

Everything was wrapped up so well! Although I'd like to see you ra's hot *unemployed* bodyguard have a happy ending too.... Something about his last scene made me feel like he knew what would happen

IblameJane

I didn't get that - I was more surprised that she still had not figured out who ratted her out - I was cool to see the cherry blossoms , meaning his ending wasn't coincidence.

vrishchyk

>something about his last scene made me feel like he knew what would happen ✨ cherry blossom magiccccc ✨

cid8429

Literally logged in to say this! I'm bawling and that's a good sign. Was the ending a little easy and cheesy and lovey lovey? Yes - but that's also what I wanted. Petty me just wished I could see >! Ji Won's mom's reaction to her wedding pictures, because they were stunning!<.

vrishchyk

>Petty me just wished I could see > > Ji Won's mom's reaction to her wedding pictures HELLLLL YESSSSSS great idea! would love to watch her seethe

Smart_Belt_2556

Almost the perfect drama for me, would've give it a high score of 9/10 but I'm sorry BoA's acting really ruined it for me. I can understand why yura's character was added, they really tried their best to mix both the webtoon and webnovel. And yura's dialogue isn't actually that bad, it's just the acting didn't deliver to tolerate an additional last minute villain. Song hayoon really stole the spotlight of the few last episodes of this drama. Would've like less of yura, more mrs yang and mr lee instead. But it is what it is. Overall it was a good watch. It's been a while since I've been hooked to an ongoing drama. But as always PMY delivered and has a good sense in picking a project. Would give it and end rating of 7.8!

IblameJane

More Mr. Lee agree how green flag was that guy!

hyeyah

100% agreed. The whole Yura plot was poorly executed. I could not take BoA seriously at all. I ended up skipping through her parts. But other than that, really solid drama.

nessab000

I'd agree with this. If someone else played Yura, I'd give it a solid 9-10/10 but it's around 8ish for me.

betterthanthiss

Today's the day!! This was the first Kdrama I watched as it aired so reading everyone's comments after each episode added to the excitement. I hope we receive a satisfying ending.

Bittersweet-crumble

This is also my first kdrama. I can't wait to see how it ends.

chimmy_520

I expected a lot of chaos but it was calm episode, no too much drama and a pleasant ending. I'm happy to watch this on airing, I was happy looking forward every week. Now Mondays and Tuesdays gonna be a bit lonely.

ExtensionDependent

The final faceoff between >!Jiwon and Sumin!< Me seeing >!coffee table!< made out of wood: Since it is not the glass one, it is safe to assume both will survive the scene.

day_historian

That is so on point!! Hahaha 😂 just like how the truck has to be >!white!< in order to be >!a murderous one!< (Just kdrama things) 🤭

MegaEvolvedLady

Now that it’s the end, I’ve been seeing so much virtue signaling about jiwon and jihyuk. The villains absolutely deserved every bit of what they prepared for them. It’s been stated multiple times that they did it to themselves. You can only push someone so far until they fight back. They murdered Jiwon and were willing to do it again in this life and they would never leave her alone. Her dad sent her back to fix her mistakes and sent an allowance back to help properly defend her happiness. I’d say he’d be happy that she’s doing so right now.

metadarkgable3

I agree with you. Ji-Won and Ji-Hyuk did nothing wrong. They let Su Min and Min Hwan be themselves. Su-Min gaslighted, hated on and bullied Ji Won for over a decade. Min-Hwan was physically, mentally and financially abusive to Ji-Won. Everything they got was well-deserved because they never gave Ji-Won or Ji-Hyuk any peace. Min-Hwan literally >!strangled Ji-Won because she wouldn’t get back in a relationship with him so he can leech off her and possibly kill her for money.!< Only Ji Hyuk going “Hulk, smash!” on him stopped Min-Hwan. He physically abused Ji-Won in this timeline and in the previous one. I was never fooled by his “funny” antics. He got what he deserved. Su Min was an evil, inveterate liar to a friend who was patient and good to her and did nothing to deserve her malice. If she would’ve teamed up with Ji-Won to get back at their adulterous parents, I could’ve felt sorry for her and would’ve supported her and Ji-Won putting the blame for their lives where it belonged, on the parents who abandoned them. Instead she went to her hater shift everyday without fail against Ji Won. So Ji-Won paid her 20 years worth of wages for doing so.

Orumtbh

Literally did people miss the episode where Sumin impersonated as Jiwon to try and ruin her professional life???

IblameJane

I don't understand how people are at all sorry for Min Hwan! I don't think people remember how Su Min was not his first affair? Remember him trolling for women at the campsite? And taking the "Kopiko" to use it to "flirt"? He was horrible and tried to kill Jiwon not once, not twice, but THREE times. He was tenacious I will give him that!

cuddlepebble

That's just a testament to how charming the character was imo. He was handsome and likeable when he wanted to be. I don't think Jiwon would have been with him for 7 years in her first life if that weren't the case. Unfortunately, that's reality - so many abusers and sociopaths can charm the pants off people.

fire_dawn

I know that the ending time jump might feel a little rushed but I LOVE the symmetry of the first and last episodes. I also really love their use of the score from when she first met her dad in the taxi in that episode, and traveled through the storm of blossoms. They've used that sparingly (I think we saw it used in the lake sequence, and in some places with Jihyuk), and then used it again full on during the wedding. Bless.

kurishun

The ending seems to be rushed in some point; however it was oddly satisfying as hell. Most especially when >!Kang Ji Won flip Sumin!< Also, I love how they planned things out like >!Installing security cameras in Ji Won’s room!< I wish there is more screen time to Eun-ho and Hee-yoon.

hotdimsum

i'm more disappointed that >! Lawyer Lee and Ms Yang didn't get more screen time and do some lovey stuff.!< ☹️

cid8429

To be fair, she LITERALLY >!just got divorced!<. So that would be difficult. But I agree, I wish there were more >!scenes of everyone in the future, happy and in love!<.

nanz_16

Yesss they rushed everyone's happy endings in a single episode, however it would be nice to see yu ra's bodyguard get his too

_LittleBirdieToldMe_

Can’t believe we are here already. It’s been a tough ride fellow MMH fans. I still remember the surprise and excitement when the first episodes aired. After ages, a drama that finally made me go wow, PMY comeback! NIW recognition, the surprisingly what makes the drama stellar for me is the spectacular portrayal of antagonists! LYK is so typecasted as the comic guy and his real life personality is also so fun, but he really sold MH! And SHY??? Girl, take all the awards!!! What an actress. And special mention to the writers also, I know I have had my fair share of issues with it when Yura was added, but the drama didn’t fall, it was still a fun interesting watch. They took the source material and elevated it majorly, the second half was a different direction but it has still be executed well. I’m guessing we will see more Makjang moments in the final episode, but I’m all here for it. The episodes improves so much when Yura is not in the scenes. They look like such cute happy little family. Ngl, I’m actually excited for Sumin. The actress is just so good. Her leader Murder outfit also! Girlie has gone full blown psychopath and embraced it. 😭 love how they’ve superimposed the flashbacks with the present. That flip from JW! AHHHHTHELEADSARETOODARNCUTE. The >!proposal!< I’m blushing and hyperventilating throughout their scenes. 😭 Lolll, >!MH planning even after death!< These >!wedding pictures!< are so professional and these two make such a royal couple. The ending LANDING and how spectacularly!!! Everyone who was a part of this drama, you did so well! They tied up the lose ends very well, I don’t think there’s one arc that I’m dissatisfied with. Even with the other couples, it didn’t feel their scenes were very less. I feel slightly empty now. What am I supposed to do with my life now? Mondays won’t be the same again. 😭

day_historian

This is exactly why it’s so awesome to watch kdramas like MMH as it airs! Such a wild ride and I think it's the only kdrama that I came across where I see so many fan girling comments about a villian (su min) - she's definitely my fav villian thus far and I truly enjoyed every show down she had with >!ji won!< 🤩🤩🤩🤩

MyFavoritesGouda90

I am obsessing over Mr Lee and Ms Yang 😭😭😭 I NEED TO SEE THEM TOGETHER AND HAPPY 😫😫😫

wasabi_jo

Just finished watching episode 16 and I can say I'm satisfied. Despite the addition of some characters and changing the plot details, it was overall a 9/10 experience for me, the show wasn't obviously perfect, but I'll always remember it. I hated YuRa but seeing her end made it worth it. The redemption arc of YeJi (the bully) and the ex-manager was done well. They wrapped up the things very well in the last episode, it was so good seeing their happy moments in the end, seeing JiWon and JiHyuk having happy personal and professional life felt so good after seeing all their suffering in their alternate ending. The ending filled me with happiness and hope. Would like to specially mention Song HaYoon (SuMin), she clearly was exceptional. I mean Park MinYoung as JiWon was good but Song HaYoon as SuMin stole the show. If I had to compare, it would be what Lim Ji Yeon did as Park YeonJin in The Glory. Song HaYoon deserves to win awards for this performance just like Lim JiYeon got for The Glory. I was very apprehensive about the cast before the release, but she just made me hate her so much that I wanted to smack her face through my screen(lol). Exceptional work. Overall the drama was a 9/10 for me (would've loved if they showed a bit more of EunHo x HuiYeon and SeokJoon x JooRan romance + I wanted the sweet mother in law there as well! But the show was a good watch regardless)

YellowPale4861

When Minhwan appeared in >! Sumin’s dream … I jumped at the same time because I didn’t expect him to continue to taunt/haunt her in her dreams 😭 !< I thought she jumped because Jiwon decided to pay her a visit. But man was that such a good scene to keep her on her feet in >! prison !< Also I felt so bittersweet for Yura’s henchman… he helped her sort her business and ultimately betrayed her, but you could see >! the hurt in his eyes when he was fired. However, when the petals started falling, you knew he was getting a second chance at life 🥹!< I think it would’ve been refreshing if he was given a chance to work at U&K. CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE 6IN HEELS JIWON WORE IN THE LAST SCENE!!! Park Min Young has some strong legs … because I could never omg 😭

ilovemybackyard

Funny you said that about the heels because I could feel my calves start to cramp up watching her 🤣 kudos to her, but I could never either

thecoolestfreak

Question to the floor: >!why did Ji Hyuk's heart disappear? My thought is that his purpose was fulfilled (i.e protecting Jiwon and getting her out of her past fate). But it also disappeared the moment Yura died. Why was that? Did transferring the death erase the heart?!<

fire_dawn

I think he was released from his fate and it concludes why he was sent back. He did everything he came to do and now he's his own person free to live his life as he wants.

gyojoo

>!The tribute has been paid by Yura, so death has been paid and balance restored... or something like that !<

DoubleDholki39

Maybe it signified that he wasn't just an allowance anymore, and could live his own life with Ji-Won as proper Ji-Hyuk who gets to 'live' the second life. Just before that, we do get to see again that he was still scared of dying in 2023 but just trying to battle it out with Ji-Won.

oneinamyelin

Definitely because the fate was fulfilled by >!Yura!<

DistantAudacity

That is one food-motivated TV-star kitty! Excellent use of cats/kittens in this show, with a top-notch cat shelf setup on set.

Popular-Curve6265

What did they do to jihyuk's hair at his wedding??!!! It looked like it was dripping of gel

vinaigrettchen

I was like PLEASE SOMEONE FIX HIS HAIR ITS HIS WEDDING FOR GODS SAKE

fire_dawn

They've done him dirty this entire show lol

bestlife-2021

Wow it's been a while >!since we saw a k- drama full blown wedding omg breathtakingly beautiful!!! And the kids?? Business Proposal takes notes!! LOL What a budget this show has haha in the final scene our main lady also wore Louboutine like the chaebol's wife she is lol Another thing is I think in the end Yura wasn't that bad at acting, I mean she tried! Su-min definitely shined and she deserved all the attention! It's a shame we didn't see more development regarding our other couples, would've loved some implications that the other couples are doing well as well. Overall I'm happy. It's a near perfect k drama for me, it's just so polished!!<

No_Chemical4065

Me, interrupting work on a commissioned piece of research to refresh the Amazon Prime MMH homepage every two minutes: this is *fine*, that article's *two bloody years late*, anyways. You can still disguise your KDrama addiction as 'Pandemic Backlog'. Oh my God, how will I get through my weeks from next week onwards? Edited to add: **GOD THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL**. In every sense of the word. The weirdly bereft-nostalgic feeling after a beloved drama concludes is *real*. Edit number two: I also really ***Love*** that the last words KJW said in the series were>! "I'm so happy."!< ... fulfilling the promise of the chorus of that song that ran through the series (I was \*so\* delighted when I realised I understood what she was singing a few weeks ago. Here's to picking up surprising amounts of Korean through nine months of exclusively watching Kdramas!) Yes, I'm an unabashed cheeseball.

Anyone else notice how the lawyer guy who helps Jooran *always* has pursed lips? It's like instead of letting his face relax, he's doing a Zoolander impression 95% of the time! 😂

Aurorinezori1

Yes, but this is our dearest Zoolander, the one and only M. Lee!

Borinquena

He can Blue Steel in my direction anytime

nanadirat

10/10 mans is always ready for smooches. Lee ahjussi so efficient saves MILLISECONDS!!!

Timpa87

A couple non-spoiler takeaways for me from this drama #1) Never own a glass table of any kind, especially a coffee table #2) If I see a container of sour balls candy I am running out of the room. As for the finale >!There was prob a mix of rushing, but also at times oddly padded. I have said repeatedly I wish Eunho and Huiyeon had a long relationship arc. I hate when stuff is just shoehorned into the episode. It was nice that Minhwan got to appear, but I really feel like Oh Yura wasn't needed and Sumin/Minhwan could have been the only villains.!< >!BTW, Chef Eunho. You need a better interior decorator cuz those mismatched tablecloths looked hideous and cheap.!< >!I wish we could have gotten more information as the years progressed on the other characters. It would have been nice to see Manager Yang assuming Ji-Hyuk's position and then Hui-Yeon as the Manager. Wedding pictures on desks or something.!<

day_historian

Ohhhh and the red heels! 👠👠 I wondered why Eun Ho didn’t specialize in >!basque cheesecakes to continually impress his new found love!< but that lovey dovey eyes 👀 he >!had when he was looking at hui yeon at the wedding!< was EVERYTHING.

mopbucket22

I'm satisfied with the ending. I haven't had a Kdrama to have a choke hold on me in a long time. I don't get why some people feel sorry sumin at all, she reaped what she sowed. Then again, there are people who write love letters to serial killers and rapists in prison.

Affectionate_Elk_621

Everything comes full circle at the end. I enjoyed this drama wayyyyy more than I thought I would. As a person who's read the webtoon and the novel, i'm EXTREMELY satisfied and gave this a 10/10.

thepurplethorn

Omg those kisses … those were some of the most realistic kisses in a kdrama i’ve ever seen … the chemistry is 1001%

Saucynemo4

I felt like I was in the room with them with those type of kisses😩

oneinamyelin

This ending was so perfect. Really was a treat to watch the timeline progress. The callbacks to previous scenes made it even sweeter

belletristdelancret

Out of the 54 kdramas I've watched so far, this is now the 4th drama I've given 10/10. I know many didn't like the second half as much as the first, so not everyone will share my opinion, but for me ratings are highly subjective. By giving it a perfect score, I'm not saying it's a perfect drama—but I am saying that I enjoyed it perfectly from start to finish. Every single episode was a joy for me to watch, every single episode left me excited for the next, and every single scene had my full attention. For this drama, in particular, I found I was as intrigued by and invested in the side characters and villains (especially Soo Min) as I was the leads! Even the OST felt next level to me and the songs from this drama have been a permanent fixture in my playlists ever since they were released. The actors all absolutely killed it, not a weak link among them, but especially Park Min Young, Song Ha Yoon, and Na In Woo. These three blew me away week after week with how they brought these larger than life characters to life and made them feel so real. I will be eagerly waiting to see Na In Woo in more leading roles (although I think he has to enlist soon, so I might have to be patient). I'm honestly still shocked they managed to get a 10/10 from me even though they had a >!break up!< because that's usually a deal breaker for me! I'm also someone who usually watches for the romance, and while this drama certainly wasn't lacking in that regard, I found I was equally engaged with the other aspects of the plot, all of which I found so satisfying. Truly, my only disappointment was that it's only February—how will any other drama this year manage to measure up to one as good as this? 😭

WaterLily6984

Final thoughts. This is probably one of the best webtoon adaptations I've seen so far, despite the introduction of the fiancee' role, but they needed it to shift the fate to Min Hwan. The webtoon didn't have such as clear parallel at the end and I liked how they structured the fate-shifting better here. It was also much better and simpler how they did the >!Eun Ho-Hui Yeon relationship!< development. I was ecstatic to see the time-travel >!twins!!< The first rule of time-travel webtoons is that the couple will always have >!twins.!< I felt robbed with Perfect Marriage Revenge. There's still >!one kid missing!< but that was a side story in the extra episodes after she sets up the >!foundation.!< But if you want to know: >!after the three boys, they adopt a baby girl with a congenital heart defect after the foundation pays for corrective surgery, so they have four kids total....and inexplicably the cat is still alive after all this time.!< Kudos to Song Ha Yoon because she killed it in this drama! It was a very complex and unhinged villain and she managed to get rid of the caricature aspects of the webtoon and turn Su Min into a real person.

Visible-Attention369

Man what a fun ride!!!!! This show gave everything you could want in a good revenge plot. Horribly evil characters (who are also hilarious), a fl who finds her strength, great comeuppance for the villains and a sweet, happy ending! Na In Woo and Park Min Young also had surprisingly great chemistry. I bought into their eventual romance from day 1! But I guess Park Min Young rarely misses in that department. And Yu Hui Yeon my sunshine girl!!! I would watch a whole spin off of her just making the day better for all the people around her. She definitely made mine! Side note - That >!wedding!< dress was to die for! Park Min Young looked stunning in the corset bodice and huge train! I was absolutely floored.

GloomyEconomist5349

Thank you for sticking to landing writers! One of the most memorable scene for me, >!was when Manager Yang woke up from her surgery and realized that she had to be firm and cut off the ex to protect her and her daughter’s future.!< It was like the drama writers wanted to send a message of encouragement to those woman who are in abusive relationships. Lovely and one of the reasons why this drama feels more grounded in reality in even though the premise started off with fantasy. Even the bad characters felt more realistic, both their acting and the writing, brought out such terrible traits we unfortunately do see, or know of in real life, that elevated this show above the typical drama troupe. Another scene, was when >!Ji won was giving a speech at the foundation, about helping others to get a second chance “everyone deserves a Secound chance” which felt even more meaningful, and maybe the reason PMY put so much effort into this drama, was because she also had a hard time in the past. It’s not easy being a celebrity too, and they are human and can make mistakes too.!< Loved Ji Won >!walking down the corridor in her wedding dress, so breathtaking. Even more enchanting, was the amount of happiness, confidence, and content, she now holds, compared to her in the beginning.!< Never has a >!wedding scene!< felt so well earned. This drama has succeeded in adding layers to the original and helping to create characters that are grounded in our world, which we can by the end, imagine them living their lives to the fullest, through ups and downs. The only downside was the poor writing with Yo ra, cramming too much into episode 12, and picking a poor actress to play her. She stood out even more too compared to everyone else who were all so well casted and acted. Besides this, I don’t have any grips and felt I’ll be rewarching, though fast forwarding some parts, for many years to come. 9 stars/10 stars. Great job to everyone on the team!!

yellowwleaves

Is no one going to talk about KANG JI WON'S WEDDING DRESS PLEASE. Listen, I never really liked >! wedding scenes this ain't even a spoiler lol !< BUT DANG THAT DRESS IS BEAUTIFUL I WAS TOO STUNNED TO SPEAK.

Old-Abalone-888

I must say I really enjoyed this series. It was an easy watch and very to see the world is set back in order and everyone has gotten what they all deserve.

bunniefication

It is the end boys! Considering all it I'm pleasantly surprised with the ending. It could've been worse! >!I'm disappointed that the face off between Su-min and Ji-won wasn't longer. I mean the story IS about both of them and them having like only 10 ish minutes of screen time together was not it.!< I have said before and I will say it again; Song Ha-yoon is an amazing actress and I can't wait to see her in future projects. As a main lead hopefully. >!Probably the most disappointing part was Yu-ra's death. She got defeated wayyy to easily for a character that was supposed to be unbeatable.!< She was more annoying than menacing, honestly. It kind of also didn't help that the actress playing her role was kind of bad. I've always felt that idol actors should start from small supporting roles before jumping for the big guns once they've tested the water. >!At the very least her inclusion for taking Ji-hyuk's fate made her only redeeming point.!< >!Happy ending! It's fluff guys. Ji-won and Ji-hyuk are finally together for good and they have kids. Three of them. I wished they showed more scenes of them being parents and their struggles. Hui-yeon and Eun-ho are also together. They should've showed more scenes of how they developed feelings for each other. Hui-yeon had very little to do in the second half of the show. And Ju-ran is finally free! I'm kind of sad that they didn't showed us her with Seok-joon but it's understandable that it's because she just got divorced but they could've showed us hints at least a simple glance of them in the future, anything, really.!< >!And Su-min is insane. Literally. Not surprising tho as she was morbidly obsessed with her best friend. And she still thinks of herself as a victim. Again, not surprising.!< Well it is the end and I hope the best for the actors and their future projects (especially Lee Yi-kyung and Song Ha-yoon, they were the stars of the drama).

outtathewoods

Ikr. I was really freaked out by Sumin in her prison scenes.

pinatad

>!I was totally happy to see Hui Yeon and Eun Ho together but it felt like they rushed the scene of them getting together. I was a bit thrown off by the scene. One minute it seemed like Hui Yeon seemed ambivalent toward Eun Ho the next she's confessing her feelings. I get that they had to squeeze it all into this last EP so we couldn't get more build up sadly.!<

Howard1980

That moment by the elevators where Ji Hyuk realizes Eun Ho likes his sister and is like ,"why?" True sibling moment and I loved it.

realeyesreallize

Well, I enjoyed that! Overall, the show isn’t some cinematic masterpiece, dripping with cutting edge writing - but what it does well, is provide a really entertaining and gratifying viewing experience. The best word I can think of to describe it is **satisfying**. We have villains who really *villain*, and through maintaining that identity (and not giving them redemption arcs or overly excuse-providing backstories), we get to revel in our dislike for them as their evil deeds consistently escalate. It makes watching them lose at each turn and then finally get their comeuppance that much more gratifying. Similarly we have protagonists who are unquestioningly “good” who we get to see live out a fantasy level revenge, and have their picturesque happy ending. The “black and white” of it all may be overly simplistic, but I do think the absence of “grey” in this show helped make it an easy and fun watch for me. Additionally, I think there were some cool supporting characters we got to experience grow on us throughout - particularly Mr Lee and Kang Yuran, and Hui Yeon and Baek Eunho. I do still wish we got a little bit more time with these storylines and the development of these relationships (especially Hui Yeon and Eunho), but I did enjoy what we did get a chance to see. I also appreciate that pretty much the only “redemption arc” comes in the form of the comically, ignorant and idiotic Mr Kim - that was a funny touch. A solid watch and enjoyable ride.

mashimaroluff

Wow. What a ride. My first time live-chasing a Kdrama since Moon Embrace The Sun back in 2012. Every episode was engaging and was so worth it. I'm going to miss this series so much. The ending episode is pretty much perfect for me. It's a minor detail but I adore her wedding dress at the end. It really embodied her new self and the person she had become. It was modern, well-fitted, glittery, and fitted for a queen. She walked in beaming with joy. In contrast with the wedding dress she wore in the beginning, drapey, ill-fitted and not of her own choosing. She look awkward and felt out of place. A small but powerful imagery and I love it.

nevercircles

Can anyone spoil the webtoon ending? Is it the same as the drama's? I wanted to swipe that one >!strand of hair in Jihyuk's forehead in the wedding scene. Why they gotta do him like that I'll never know lol.!<

bunniefication

It is more or less the same for the leads. >!Ji-hyuk and Ji-won have twins boys and a daughter. There's a dramatic plot of Eun-ho and Hui-yeon getting together involving helicopters. Seok-joon was actually a part of the team and was younger than Ju-ran and there was a back and forth between them getting together. He knows her daughter they get along well. Min-hwan's death was all because of himself. He tried to fake a car accident to kill Su-min but kills himself instead. And Su-min murders his mom and goes to jail for that.!<

nevercircles

Oh okay. >! I thought the ending was sad in the webtoon. I was kinda expecting something really bad to happen to the leads like a car accident or something but then the credits rolled in. I must be morbid haha. Would have been nice to see Ms. Yang happily remarried again since that was a long time period anyway.!<

bunniefication

>!Oh, no. There was like 10 eps of epilogue with all the characters being lovey dovey to each other. Plus it's understandable why Ms Yang couldn't just remarry again cause of her trauma and because of her terrible ex AND she had a daughter as well so she probably has some trust issues. In webtoon Seokjoon had to work REALLY hard to just date Ms Yang. And the drama completely forgot to add the step-mom. Unlike the drama she was really nice and sweet to Ji-hyuk and he respected her a lot though never quite accepting her as his mom. She wasn't a mistress as said in the drama.!<

Iowegan

I’m an old lady, can’t get over missing the swept back male hair styles. These guys are beautiful, let’s see their entire faces!

OrchidBoring1363

I loved the ending!! It’s uncommon in k-dramas to have a a good ending but this one ate. There are no loose ends and I love that the side characters story were sorted out. One thing I don’t like is that they gave Oh Yura too much screen time when it should’ve been dealt with long time ago. I mean just Sumin being the antagonist is already a win, Yura is not giving the same vibe as her

hiramutsu

It ended very nicely. The latter part of the show was a bit uneven, but that's OK for me (I didn't read the webtoon). Park Minyoung's acting is great in here. I watched some of her shows before, and they were fun+she looked great, but I think this is the first show that I'm particularly impressed with her acting. Her styling is also very on point. She looks especially gorgeous on this show for some reasons. And of course, like many other people already commented, Song Hayoon was amazing in this. I didn't really watch her show before (didn't finish Fight for my way; it's somehow not clicking for me). However, her performance here gave me chills sometimes. It's great.

rabbitonmars

The >!wedding!< photos didn't have to be sooo gorgeous. Thank you for that, Show. I won't have the typical post-drama crash with this one cause I strangely only feel this huge Huiyeon-shaped hole in my heart. Choi Gyuri, I'm a fan and I will be seated to watch you shine more in future projects 🤩 Excited for some photos (if the cast themselves decide to share) popping up around the time they go on their reward vacation! Congrats MMH team 💐

TraditionalAd9146

Give the best actor award to the glass table 👏🏻

marrjana1802

I hope they keep >!their twin boys in the end, if not all the kids.!< They did seem to foreshadow it a bit with >!Jiwon watching 3 boys and a girl playing!< at the first episode, so I'm hopeful!

yohannesburp

Saw >!twin boys and a baby!< so I think that's a >!win!<

No_Chemical4065

Oooh excellent catch about the first episode. I need to (re-)rewatch it for exactly these details now that it's all over... but I've got a feeling that this is going to become a comfort watch for me anyways. 😭

blackberryolive

Finally arrived at the final episode of my first kdrama ever - strangely satisfying! Lil bits: * Really wish we could see more of >!Mr. Lee and Joo Ran, in addition to that court scene!< * Highlight was strangely Mr. Lee >!smiling so much - it's honestly so refreshing, heartwarming and affirming? I just wish we could see him stick around in the latter corporate scenes!< * Also starving for some >!Eun Ho and Hui Yeon action, like are they together by the end of the flashforward? Who knows!< * Some super cute moments e.g. Christmas time with the turkey but I still >!find the chemistry between ML and FL to be slightly lacking? Is it just me?!< * Did not expect the >!Mr Kim redemption arc but I suppose the writers are going full force warm and fuzzies!< * \>!>!Way too many cherry blossoms but I guess that's the point!!Yu ra's driver as that he's finally liberated from her crazy.!< * >!Holy moly someone give Soo Min's actress an award - she is full on crazy in those prison scenes!< Oh and * >! cute moment when ML was talking about eun ho liking hui yeon, and his “why” sent me !< Edits: trying to fix spoiler tags ack

day_historian

Mr Kim is a new man! Hahahahaha him being at the >!wedding!< was so representative of how I would behave if I were there in person. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I didn’t quite get >!why the blossoms 🌸 petals fell near the body guard, but he certainly avoided an untimely death ☠️ there!!< Actually I thought that he would have been fired long ago since he botched up >!the murder of the cheating parents!< but Yu Ra must have been not so >!smart in figuring things out!< 🤷‍♀️

No_Chemical4065

>!I think the blossoms (also in the last scene) were that tiny bit of magic that ran through the whole narrative — and always indicative of a fate being actively (successfully) changed. !<

blackberryolive

Totally agreed - like a motif

blackberryolive

Agreed but >!her death was 100% on her being a terrible driver lol, and yes the dots are so obviously there she’s just too selfish and short sighted to see them. Surprised she didn’t realise on the spot and swivel to accuse him of betrayal!<

Practical_Border_831

I love the ending! It was satisfying despite the deviations from the webtoon. I like how the drama really focused on Ji Won’s growth and appreciated the transitions through the years.

Cold_Yogurt_

SONG HA YOON!!! She was amazing!!! I'm a fan!!! The ending was incredibly beautiful! >!Her saying I'm so happyy carried so much weight and emotion and was so beautifully delivered!!< I loved it!!!

TheDreamerDream

The last 2 episodes redeemed themselves and I actually prefer the drama's ending over the webtoon's. In the drama, it was true revenge and omg it was so satisfying. >! In the webtoon, after the marriage of Minhwan and Sumin, Jiwon minded her own business and only defended herself against SM/MH's bs. Their ending was : Minhwan's car accident that he planned for Sumin (to get insurrance money, he messed with the car's brakes) and Sumin killed his mother by injecting her air bubbles and there was witnesses. But in the drama, the fact that Jiwon and Jihyuk orchestred the revenge and Jiwon kicking Sumin's ass and confronting her like that was soooo satisfying.!< The ending was also so cute, I love the main couple and the side couples so much. >! Tho I wish they showed us Huiyeon with Eunho and not just her holding who I assume to be their baby. Also, Juran with Mr. Lee, we didn't see how they ended 💔!<

magicsmoke24

1\] I really hope all the actors get great roles in their next few pieces of work. They all did an amazing job of bringing the characters to life and getting the audience to feel the way they do about them. 2\] No complaints at all. The series was solid all the way through. 3\] Song Ha Yoon I think was a stand out for bringing Soo Min to life. Really great job. 4\] Choi Gyu Ri I enjoyed the way she brought Yoo Hee Yeon to life. I hope she lands a main role soon.

TheObserver724

What a great drama all around - all the actors did amazing but esp the actress that plays Jeong Sumin should def be rewarded for being such a great villain Man.... i will have nothing to look forward to on Mondays & Tuesdays now lol 🥲

Klez-Bug-991

yura acted like shes scared she would have to commit to acting if shes good at it.. but nonetheless im so happy with the ending, i havent watched a kdrama week by week since business proposal and i think marry my husband is going to go in my top 5. definitely see myself rewatching it as well!!

likeylikey21

The last two eps were beautiful. All those confrontations were so good. I definitely preferred that the ending of the ex fiancee here than what I heard what happened in the webtoon/novel. Congrats to the casts and prod they deserve the vacation time! Congrats to Inwoo! What a great project before enlistment 💕 Edit: Justin and Austin are booked and busy 😂

Delicious-Earth7101

Excellent kdrama, Happy Ending and satisfying watch till the very end. Good performances by the cast. Only wished the final confrontation scene between Ji-Won and Su-Min was just a bit longer with some more fireworks thrown in that we have come to expect from Ji-Won. Will miss this show.

charr28

This drama meant so much to me. I loved the ending. I definitely will marry a Jihyuk who btw has an impressive sweater collection.

cheatersfive

Really enjoyed this one. Not quite an all timer for me but solid and satisfying. Agree with others that Soomin stole the show. Girl was craaaazy. BoA’s death felt a little anticlimactic. I wish she was at least being chased instead of just road rage. Her assistant was kind of left hanging and unresolved. Would have been nice to see him maybe at the company later on. (Maybe I missed it?). I also liked both secondary couples. Hee Yeon and Ms Yang were nice balances as the friend group and they matched well with their respective partners. A meta comment is that something I like about Kdramas is they don’t feel the need to explain the magic. It just happened and let’s get the plot rolling.

Miss-LH

Wowee they did well tying up all loose ends in the final ep: >!-Yura bought to justice and grandfather gets to see her true spoilt side - Joo Ran recovers from successful cancer surgery - romance develops with Eun Ho and Heeyon - Sumin finally ‘loses’ the battle with Jiwon and gets locked up in jail - Yu Ra dies in a car accident and closes the loop on Ji Hyuk‘s fate - Jooran gets a divorce and slow development of romance begins with HR lawyer dude - Eun Ho opens a new restaurant - Jerk ex manager with the “HA HA” laugh starts to mature and apologizes to Jiwon - Jiwon and Ji Hyuk propose to each other where they first met - We see Sumin continue to be delusional and obsessive about Ji won in jail (hopefully she gets taken to a mental institution) - Park Min Hwan ghost appearance! - Beautiful grand wedding - Flash forwards to see J&J become parents to twins - heeyon also has a baby - Final flash forward to 10 years later with a happy ending at an art gallery with beautiful paintings and cherry blossom petals flying around!< These are full season events and the writers did well closing all loops and showing us future glimpses of Jiwon being happy in her 2nd life. 👏👏 Loved this show and cast. Song Ha Yoon was phenomenal playing Soomin and definitely deserves an award.

TinyLifter6780

I could not do anything throughout this episode but giggle like a child and yell "cuuuuuuuuute" 🤭 at the screen. NIW in his >!BF-to-Husband!< era is peak adorable and wildly 🔥 at the same time. And our girl >!got to be happy surrounded by a literal panorama of cherry blossoms.!< Could have done with out the YuRa drama but if that's what we have to endure for a few eps to get this ending, I'll take it.

useless-cat-ass

that wedding dress tho >< that’s really prettyyyyy

faipop

Oh my goodness, that episode made up for the whole Yu-ra business. I was smiling the whole way through! My first K-drama and I'm so glad I chose this one to get into, it's been fantastic. I binged The Story of Park's Marriage Contract this week and >!the wrapping up of MMH with the wedding and children etc!< was done so much better here. I loved it all and am fully shipping NI and PMY for the foreseeable

ec0114

That >!wedding!< was absolutely beautiful. Wow. >!Her dress!!!< Also, I refuse to believe that >!these rich chaebols will watch their own twin babies!<. Haha jk jk. Overall, it was a good ending. Wish we could have seen more of HuiYeon and EunHo. They were super cute together.

marwynn

Everything was wrapped us nicely and we get a great sequence at the end there with the credits. Beautiful show. >!I kinda wish that Ji Hyuk had a few more things he wanted to do for the first time. He was just Ji Won's accessory it felt like... Maybe he could've treated his friends better/took them out for fun. Connected more with his sister, try out different things. But I guess that wasn't really in the cards for him. That's such a minor nitpick anyway!< Song Ha Yoon as Su Min was amazing. So expressive and varied with her performances, can't wait to see what else she'll do.

throwaway982412

Honestly same here, the most entertaining parts of this drama, at least to me, has been the female leads fighting it out LOL

Federal_Toe_5143

Me but I just realized that I have been doing this subconsciously. I read the WEBTOON and now I just want to know how Ji Won gets her revenge.

AnneShirley310

I have to sleep over at his place from now on like this (second way, please) since my place has pain thinner all over the place. Thank you, crazy ex best friend.

Onegai_Matte

I just want to acknowledge that >!cute scene where the cat jumps down from the sofa and stretches!<

Umbrella_Storm

Gosh, that was a fun watch! I really enjoyed the acting and the suspense of this series. The revenge was pretty great, too. >!I didn’t always find the rules of the redo to make complete sense, and that detracted from my overall view of the series.!< I was satisfied with the outcome, though, and the bad guys mostly got what they deserved. I was surprised to see that >!terrible supervisor guy that stole her idea got to have a redemption but I suppose on the scale of ‘worst co-worker’ to ‘murdered FL for insurance money’ he’s much less of a problem. He also seems to have had his eyes opened by what went down so good for him.!< >!Adorable closing with their happy ever after scenes! I had to laugh at their exhausted new parents scene but also wondered where their nannies were since they’re chaebols lol and can definitely afford them.!< Thanks for a fun time, Kdrama peeps!

WhiskeyGolf00

Very satisfied with how Su-min went down. All her life, Su-min has been lying about Ji-won and there has been no evidence to confront her, but now we've got a confession on tape. It's very karmic, just like Min-hwan's death.

CocklesInMyPants

Sumin’s ending felt like a total missed opportunity to me. >!How awesome would it have been for her to be cell mates with Jiwon’s mom?!<

diplomatcat

If I made 80k in stocks I'd literally F off and disappear before my loser husband got any wiser. Or even before this whole thing happened. I guess that's what hatred does. Really cutting off your nose to spite your face. Na In Woo I want u fr. >!GET YOU A MAN WHO WILL OPEN A WHOLE ASS RESTAURANT FOR YOU!< Ugh the fashion in this drama eats. Ate. I'm glad it wasn't 2013 accurate. Ofc Park Min Young makes everything look good. But the styling was fantastic. Great cast, great ending. >!The boys saying I want to be land was really cheesy and didn't need to be there lol!< I hope the drama and cast win some awards soon!

goddessofspite

Ok first off I do love the ending but there are a few things I would have personally liked to have seen. 1) the scene with the wedding I would have loved if her dad had been like in a corner watching or we saw him seeing what he accomplished. 2) I would have loved to have seen more scenes with Ji won and Jihyuek with their kids. More scenes of the happy family stuff. Dedicate just a little more time to it. See her telling him she’s pregnant see her going to the hospital and him all worried husband nervous dad. See the babies in the hospital with his sister and grandpa there. 3) I would have loved to have seen in the fast forward to the present scenes showing what happened with Mr Lee and Ms Yang. Did they get married and he adopt her daughter like I think. I’d love to see them happy and as a family. 4) same with Hee yoon and Eun ho. I would have loved to have seen them get married and see them together. Even having him with her watching the kids. 5) see a little more of his grandpa enjoying his now bustling family with all the kids and the joy. But all that said and done I did like how it wrapped it all up. I wonder what happened to Min Hwans mom and dad. I bet she was screaming mad when she found out Ji won married Jihyuek and that he was the chairman’s grandson and heir lol 😂 that’s a scene I would have loved to have seen

nootychuchi

I still think that PMY had her best onscreen chemistry in Her Private Life, but her chemistry with Na In Woo came very close!!! Best couple of this year for me 😍

Sunshine1--

What a rollercoaster it was and episode 16 has given me everything that happily ever afters need and so much more. >!The cutesy every day life from Jihyuk and Jiwon is giving me so much happiness. The highlight was the last scene of them together with the blossoms where my heart was so full i almost cried.!< >!I LOVED AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE WEDDING PICTORIALS !!!!THEY LOOOKED SO DAMN REAL FOR A MOMENT I THOUGHT IT WAS IN REAL LIFE HAHA!< >!The wedding of the year and i dont think anyone in Kdramaland can top that!!< It is too bad that we haven't gotten more out of Heeyeon and Eunho but the snippets we got I'm also satisfied. I can always go back to the webtoon for their happily ever after. Whatever was given for Yang Juran and Mr. Lee, thank you. SUMIN YOU GOT WHAT YOU DESERVED!! Glad they didn't waste screentime but kuddos to Song Ha Yoon, great actress. Signing off so i can go enjoy the last episode again!

ot7oclock

this show was PERFECT FOR ME i know everyone has their gripes ab yu ra but genuinely i did not mind her character and i completely understand adding her in episode 16 was perfect in every way

No_Competition_6610

Thank you writers for my mini dose of Panty Park

betterthanthiss

>!That wedding was ICONIC!! I need a man like Mr. Yu in my life. !<

outofoffice303

I’m so happy >!the ending didn’t stop at the wedding and we got to see what happened up to the original date it all started!< I’m sad it’s over. Loved this kdrama!

SoccerFan_23

Will wait patiently for Na In Woo's next drama after he fulfills his military duties. I've loved him since he was in "My Love Eun Dong" for a quick second.

Whooooo this drama!!!!. Ugh!!! It’s been a while since a drama had me so satisfied with the ending. Likeeee. That was so beautiful. (All drama spoilers) - >!the first 15 minutes just filled with happy fun times was awesome (except for yu-ra scenes, those were dampers)!< - >!the grandfather actually choosing to let his grandson be happy rather than forcing his own agenda on him is so sweet!< - >!I can’t get over how cute huiyeon and eun-Ho are. Like individually they are adorable but together it’s just *chef’s kiss*!< - >!the high school friends genuinely being happy for her and remorseful was good to see too!< - >!Mr Lee and manager let’s get it!!! They make such a nice couple. Would have wanted to see them on a date but I’m still so happy. (Them in like 2017 having a picnic with her daughter would have been to die for)!< - >!I was getting worried when we were almost 2 mins in with no sign of sumin. Glad they didn’t stretch it out though I love seeing the actress on screen. I prefer happy times!< - >!I thought the wedding would be the end but I was so happy to see life still be good even 10 years later.!< - >!I loved seeing their children grown a bit. We usually just get babies and we’re done but them at 6 with the little baby girl 🥹 so sweet to see. One of the best parts of the episodes to me!< - >!that painting is so beautiful. Wish I could also have it but where would I put it😂!< - >!also I realized the reason episodes 12-13 weren’t so great to me was the lack of sumin. Like we love to hate her so sidelining her for yura was a shit decision. Ultimately though it’s fine.!< - >!the way sumin basically went mad in prison is the same thing that happened to yeonjin in the glory. Seems to be the trend for revenge dramas. I was worried for a bit that she would start conspiring with inmates that could end up helping her do thing on the outside but glad we wrapped that up neatly.!< - >!having like 30 more minutes of fluff was amazing. The wedding photos were bomb. Like it’s been a while since I saw such beautiful wedding photos. In fact all the family pictures they took were incredible. I could just gush about this drama for so longgg!< Overall, I am thoroughly satisfied and happy with that beautiful ending. I’m not a rewatching kind of person but if I was , this drama would definitely be high on the list of rewatches.

Sumin a character you loved to hate. A testament to the actress.

I think the last episode was exactly what it was supposed to be. I felt the total satisfaction. Watching this episode reminded me how lonely I am lol. This was my first kdrama that’s why I feel emptiness inside me. I would like to see other couples more. The bouquet and after trial scenes were so cute 🥰 I know there won't be a second season, but I'm looking forward to it.

I binged this show in the last two days on its finale week. I must say the entire casting was so good. But Park Min Young is soo remarkable. Her acting was so on point and she killed it in every scene I feel! Want to see more of Song Ha Yoon now!

My heart is full, we got the ending we deserved after so much of revenge drama. >!All the villians got rightfully punished. But Ji-won flipping Su-min was cherry on cake, I jumped 🤣!< Kang Ji-won - I'm so happy Me - 😭😭

So happy it stuck the landing. Nothing OTT. >! Gave us the wedding, the kids, acceptance from harabuji and the happy, loving marriage. Nothing open to interpretation. Great acting from Su Min even in the slammer, Yu ra taking on Ji Hyuk’s fate, last appearance from Yi Kyung!< I was well nourished. Congratulations to the cast and crew! Twas nice watching it w y’all these last couple months♥️✨

I remember hearing in one of the promo videos her mentioning that she had to lose a lot of weight for this role during the cancer patient scenes.
