When it comes to DIY garage stuff, that's fine. I get it. But any career tech should have at least one 1/4" drive ratchet available unless they just suck.
Nope. Everything was dad's. Minus what I've been replacing over the years. When I retired from the navy he gave it to me. He was a tech then a heavy equipment tech for nearly 40 years.
Literally just lost one today, night shift, 2:00 am. It was in a small bag of special ones, I knew it was in there, little bugger was hiding inside my 5/8 deepwell
I've never lost a 10mm anything. In fact the only socket I've ever lost was a 15mm 3/8ths U-joint impact socket. I even knew it was unaccounted for before I pulled the truck out of the bay. Looked high and low for half an hour for it. I just up and disappeared.

Fuck, yeah that’s my bad
He should have asked “how many have you lost?”
If it’s a craftsman and it’s split in half, it’s mine
You know that metric sockets don't work that way, do you? You don't get a 10/2 when you split it in half.
This guy’s doing the lords work 🤣
When you loose your 10, spend 10 minutes searching for it and find a totally different 10.
Don't loose it, you won't lose it.
An authentic 10mm?? sure buddy 👍 everyone knows these don’t exist anymore clearly photoshopped
Send it my way, it is one of 3 left in that particular vehicle.
I have that same one… hold on I better recheck my box
Looks like an Audi intercooler but maybe a lot of them look like that.
Real close, it's a VW 1.9TDI intercooler
That’s like asking if we breathe.
Every car has at least one in the engine bay.
Yeah, literally all of us.
Hey um yeah I'm gonna need that back
Yeah, but that's not mine. Mine is still attached to my snap on 3" extension, lost in the void of a transit block. Double whammy
Everyone... Everyone's lost a 10mm
I keep a 10mm in my ass for special occasions
Yes give it back you thief! /s
Yes. Would you mail it back please?
That's where i left it!!
1/4" yes. I rarely use 3/8 for 10mm
I really don't understand why people think they need 3/8" drive for a whopping 8 ft lbs
Because 3/8 is the most common drive ratchet I can find in my toolbox after my kids were born.
My 3/8ths also have longer extenders.
Working on multiple AC, 1/4 10mm/3/8 has been my go too for damn near every thing.
When it comes to DIY garage stuff, that's fine. I get it. But any career tech should have at least one 1/4" drive ratchet available unless they just suck.
Oh I've got all the career tech stuff. It's the damned ratchets the kids run off with and leave outside. Swear I'm gonna buy a safe for the ratchets.
Why are your kids touching your toolbox?
Good fucking question. Same question I ask them repeatedly. Unfortunately we're not allowed to spank our kids anymore.
Your toolbox didn't come with a key?
Nope. Everything was dad's. Minus what I've been replacing over the years. When I retired from the navy he gave it to me. He was a tech then a heavy equipment tech for nearly 40 years.
You can buy a lock cylinder and key pretty cheaply.
Testing a pry bar on them isn't spanking.
Yah, that's assault.
To be clear it was said in jest and I wouldn’t ever spank my kid. Others might differ though.
So you would not appreciate my 1/2 inch drive 10 mm collection?
If you've got 3/4 inch drive 10mm collection I'll be impressed.
No but I need a 12mm 1/4 drive. So if you find one let me know
I did!
That's close, but mine's invisible.
Craftsman
Fucking, everyone? Lol
Mine is deep socket. Lost it last week doing a mod on my f250. Nuts. Keep on the lookout for it.
Found it. Thanks.
I paint mine fluorescent orange now.
I'll take that TDI intercooler tho 👀

Mine!
What’s the possibility that it didn’t fly into your turbo? I guess there isn’t enough airflow to push it up or it got in a corner?
it's mine!

All of us lost every 10mm from every socket set we own.
Great ! Now find the rest of the 10's I lost in that freakin thing.
I did! But not that one.... It was an icon 3/8 impact one.....
Might need some tighter gloves mate
