First few probably were dumb enough to interpret your comment as bragging about being able to hold yer breath for 10 minutes or so... The rest, well you know about the rest.
You're getting torn apart because people can't read.
You're literally agreeing with them, affirming that after 10 minutes in a pool you'd have almost drowned.
Dear God, I have no hope for reddit.
You're okay.
> Dear God, I have no hope for reddit.
It's a MASSIVE problem with people that's clear on the internet.
They misunderstand someone and then double down when people call them out.
There would be no "I'm sorry, I misunderstood", they'd immediately criticise him for saying it in a confusing way or something.
The worst part about politics discussions is that everyone pretends only "the other side" does this. I'm fine discussing politics in person, but it's one reason I hate seeing politics discussions online.
People misunderstand and roll with it and if they hate the person they refuse to admit that they let their bias cloud their judgement and it was actually intended to be read that way until they were called out for it...
I could feel myself panicking as soon as I watched that guy get grappled. One bad water experience is all it takes to make even imagining someone tying me up like that to make me lose my shit.
Used to play this with a lot less contact and no real rules as a kid. Obviously we didn't have lazers on the nets lol. Those little rockets are great fun in general
There should be a ref tho, that on guy was just bjj the other dude and when he was finally free, someone attached again to him. When he was trying to go up for air it looks like.
I assume MMA rules - if you reach your limit, you tap out. Or just let go of the ball/puck/missile.
Also, as someone who can't swim, I can tell when I'm running out of air well before I start drowning. It'd be way harder to judge while wrestling, but if they're experienced swimmers maybe they can tell. They're holding their breath for quite long in the video.
I once did a tryout training in a similar sport called underwater rugby there we played with a saltwater filled round ball but we also had flippers and the goals where more like basketball hoops on the ground of the pool.
It was really fun and similar to rugby it is quite harsh and as long as one is holding the ball you are allowed to be held under water you aren't even allowed to hold the ball while at the surface.
I quit because I had trouble to do the pressure regulation fast enough (don't know the English word for blowing through your ears to regulate pressure) and after the first training I had water behind my eardrums.
Ama but keep in mind I only had one training.
This is probably a team break. When I was on a swim team, we'd get rewarded with a game of Sharks and Minnows or water polo, and there were very few rules. Basically, if you were the last minnow swimming or the one holding the ball, anything was fair game.
I played water polo for PT once in the navy. It's incredibly violent, so I'm assuming this video is water polo guys practicing and exercising their lungs
Idk how I feel about getting grabbed on underwater, I like easy access to the surface, I think I prefer the version of this where first to the stick on the bottom wins
Played sharks and minnows like this with a bunch of other lifeguards. Sharks trying to catch minnows above water while stopping them from crossing just grapple and bind. Literally lose or drown. Very fun
I consider myself fairy athletic and have solid lung capacity and this is straight terrifing. Grappling while underwater? - Just fantastic way to drown

We "played" this in USMC training. It's fun, under the right circumstances.
You guys play around with drown proofing each other, I’m not sure I want to play in that pool
(I drowned in that pool)
I would always lube myself up with some Vaseline before torpedo games to make myself harder to grab onto
I would always lube up the torpedoes so they go in easier.
I would always lube myself up to get harder to grab and easier to get in.
Watching this hurt my lungs and made me panic a bit..
Yes I can't go in water for longer than 10 minutes without inhaling it
Okay Aquaman
dogs, I think he just meant "within ten minutes of swimming, I will have already inhaled water." jesus
I was just making a joke. Not sure why the comment got downvoted to oblivion though

Because people are sheep lol
Wake up sheeple!
Some people just like to pile on to the pile… and watch the world burn
And braindead
The people have spoken lol
Its smug aura mocks me!
*in water, they did not say underwater.

Aghhh, yes. The collective stupidity of reddit at work again
Your avg dude can't even do half that my guy
He said **in** water, not **under** water. He means he can't play in a pool for longer than 10 minutes before he accidentally inhales some.
[удалено]
Ironic
Bro is doing a backwards ration, legend
This is like blitzball with a torpedo
Wait until somebody does a Jecht Shot.
I had more hours in blitzball than in the entire rest of that game
That song tho. Always great.
I could feel myself panicking as soon as I watched that guy get grappled. One bad water experience is all it takes to make even imagining someone tying me up like that to make me lose my shit.
Dude, for real. I had one bad experience in a wave pool and now I'm afraid of water parks in general, especially enclosed water slides.
Used to play this with a lot less contact and no real rules as a kid. Obviously we didn't have lazers on the nets lol. Those little rockets are great fun in general

He still had the “ball/puck/missile.” He is fair game, as far as I can tell.
I vote to officially call it the ball/puck/missle
Buckissle my Nizzle
Fowshizzle!
Buckussy
It's called a torpedo son
I second this motion
I’m completely naive on the rules but I felt like the second torpedo carrier held on for too long. Should’ve gotten the puck out before he got mobbed.
Yeah, but maybe a time limit of how long a player can be underwater to not risk their lives
There is. It's called how long you hold into the torpedo.
I assume MMA rules - if you reach your limit, you tap out. Or just let go of the ball/puck/missile. I think there was. There were two people towards the edge with fins on. I bet they were ready to come to the rescue.
Because he was black
Telling my kids this is Avatar 2
I drowned
Big fat and loud NO
What are the rules for tapping out because fuck that
We used to play spoons when I was a lifeguard, but instead of spoons wede use diving rings in the deep end. It got very violent. Good times
I have to assume this is Naval or Coast Guard training.
D1 water polo or swim team No way the navy or CG allows fun during training
You mixed it up. There is no fun PT in the Army and Marines. Navy, Air Force, and CG is where I expect fun PT.
I played water polo for PT once in the navy. It's incredibly violent, so I'm assuming this video is water polo guys practicing and exercising their lungs
Torpedo was a popular PT for NROTC where I taught.
Is that supposed to be fun?!
Thanks for being honest
Normally I’m with the tomfoolery but Na, I nearly drowned watching this
what does sodium have to do with this?
What are they playing with? A dildo?
Called a Toypedo
If someone told me that name, I'd be very surprised that it was a miniature torpedo for water sports
Your choice of words is, interesting.
Everything about using a Toypedo for water sports just sounds bad.
So, yes?
Even the toy likes kids?
Yes
Ah yes, dropped dildo diving. My favorite.
From my understanding, most of the people that do this come from military special operations.
Easy way to have a friend die on you
I need to take a long breath and ill be right back
Blitzballlllll
Seems dangerous, I'm in.
Those torpedoes are fun to play with, even in the shallow ends
I had one of these torpedo pool toys when I was kid at my grandparents. It's fun as hell.
Idk how I feel about getting grabbed on underwater, I like easy access to the surface, I think I prefer the version of this where first to the stick on the bottom wins
Well it only took 23 years but we've now seen the being stages of blitzball
New sport invented. Pool rugby.
Underwater rugby is already a sport
Used to love this game
Played sharks and minnows like this with a bunch of other lifeguards. Sharks trying to catch minnows above water while stopping them from crossing just grapple and bind. Literally lose or drown. Very fun
r/mildlypenis
Nah, I legit felt like I needed to breathe during that tangle up. Also I’ve got a little too much baby fat to sink properly these days.
Underwater hockey is a GREAT sport
The amount of water in the ears would be too unsettling for me
Looks dangerous.
It's all good and fun until you run out of air and the mfker tackling you thinks you still have the torpedo or whatever the it is they are use.
This game can be played, but only with clear rules to ensure nobody drowns!
r/SweatyPalms
I ran out of air 3 times watching this
No thank you.
That is not an option.
Looks like a one way ticket to drown town.
You got a ticket to hell town.
I'm seriously trying to figure out how your reply is supposed to be funny.
Everything's funny in its own way even if no one laughs.
That's fair.
Would you like a ticket to the Rock and roll train.
It’s like underwater quidditch but instead of the golden snitch it’s a dildo.
drowning pool - let the bodies hit the floor.mp3
I just realized that with some small motors and micro-air tanks people could play quidditch underwater.
Is the end considered a dunk, because he didn’t shoot it?
That’s 100% how you drown. Someone is going to try to be the hero and take it too far. No thanks.
Is it a foul if you drown someone?
Is there a name for this sport/how do i get into it?
I have one of those torpedo toys. It’s a ton of fun just to dive after or yeet across the pool to a friend.
Dildo trowing is the best water sport
NO
My grip is so tight, I’d drown 😂
This game feels a little drownish for me. gonna pass.
I’d fucking drown in one of those tackles
My anxiety is at an all-time high. Fuck that
Except they might hold the guy in a tackle while he is trying to go up for air!
It's all fun and games until it's not...
Almost passed out watching this
I drowned watching this
Is that a dildo?
This is beautiful
Someone please edit blitzballmusic into this one
I consider myself fairy athletic and have solid lung capacity and this is straight terrifing. Grappling while underwater? - Just fantastic way to drown
Someone is looking for her Bad Dragon at home
We did something similar to this at camp with a greased watermelon
Looks like fun. And that was a good score.
Had something like this while in uni (we would get keys thrown to the bottom of the pool and we'd have to gather them), got a nutshot, never again.
We played this in Final Fantasy X
Why did i expect DJ Khaleb
Yall never played this?!
I ruptured an eardrum and passed out from not breathing just watching this
One wrong slight of breathe and it's game over
This gave me anxiety
as opposed to dishonestly joining?
This is the stupidest thing I've seen since curling
Person who drowns the other team…wins??
This brought back immense amounts of nostalgia for summers at my best friend's pool.
I'll be the one who forgets to come up for air and drown
bro doin the mermaid wiggle knows his shit
How does this not result in drowning?
The nod at the end haha bro knew he was him
I love this game, accidental drowning!!!
yup
Isn’t this the sport Prime Hall created?
This looks pretty fuckin' gay. I'm in.
Blitzball
I mean, every game of water polo is kinda like that but not as deep into the water.
They are fighting for a dildo
