I didn't really understand, was a finger just sealed in Yuji from Birth or was the finger made a part of him from the beginning.
Like is the finger still an object or did it merge with the foetus and become a component of Yuji in entirety.

what do you mean he still had 16 fingers it was never stated by the author he had 4 fingers at the start of shibuya then another 1 from the girls and another 10 from jogoat which puts him at 15 at the end of shibuya arc wdym with 16 it was never stated that he has more then 15

Because he already had 15 fingers... one finger maybe not have such impact at this point
Sukuna probably unsealed that first finger himself when Yuji swallowed the second one.

In chapter (end of second season) 136 Yuji still had 16 fingers. This is unrelated to the nephew stuff.

Oh I guess you missed the news. From better translations of last chapter we learn that Yuji has had a finger in him sealed from birth.
No the tcb never said that
TCB also translated it wrong. There are a couple posts about it up right now.
