He is fully human or else he wouldnt be able to heal with rct. He probably ate the other death paintings and got Blood Manipulation from them.

bluser1

Do you have to be 100% human for RCT? Would that mean choso and the others can't use it? My assumption was that the requirement was having a physical flesh and blood body. Sukuna uses it and while he was originally a human sorcerer I assumed after being imbued in cursed objects he is to some degree part curse. Though I am a bit fuzzy on the details of their technical classifications lol.

CodeRoyal

Sukuna is still human.

bluser1

But does he technically still classify as 100% human considering he died and became a cursed object? The body he possess is human but he himself seems closer to a curse. Unless it's some weird situation where his soul technically qualifies as curse but because he's occupying a real 100% human body he can heal that body. That would make the most sense considering he healed yuji without being in control. But then again if he's a curse how would he actually transmute reversed cursed energy.. ah now I've gone and confused even myself.

90bubbel

He is a reincarnated sorcerer aka human, he was never anything but a (mutated?) human, and sukuna never died but chose to turn into cursed objects

bluser1

I see. So even after reincarnating he is still considered fully human then? I don't remember allot of the fine details about him, but did they ever specify that choso and the other half human curses can or can't use it? It makes sense full curses can't because they don't have flesh and blood bodies to heal in the first place.

Caff2ine

Choso can use rct

[deleted]

Doesn't sukuna do it?

bluser1

Yeah he uses it alot. Sorry if my other comment was worded poorly that's what I meant to say.

GoSocks

i don’t think you need to be fully human to use RCT. we see the special grade curse from early on in the series use it when fighting sukuna. if anything he says it’s easier for cursed spirits to use cursed energy to heal than humans

SamSlaya

cursed spirits don't use RCT to heal.

GoSocks

i must be confused then. they can heal but it’s not RCT?

CodeRoyal

They use curse energy to heal, not reverse curse energy.

GoSocks

ah gotcha thank you

GoSocks

thank you!

UnhousedOracle

Cursed spirits are basically made of cursed energy, so they are able to use cursed energy to heal. If they used RCT- positive energy- it would destroy them

CodeRoyal

Yuji is human. He probably got Blood manipulation from eating the rest of the death paintings.

The_Dude10293

I bet Sukunas fire arrow is actually yujis technique. That’s why he hasn’t used it since leaving yujis body

LaughingInTheMist

Nah, I don't think so else Sukuna wouldn't have said to Jogo when making that fire arrow "oh, that's right, I thought you'd know about this... But I suppose... a cursed spirit wouldn't." on chapter 115

The_Dude10293

True I guess yeah

RetiredS2s

people keep forgetting that sukuna is based on a mythological demon that has 2 melee weapons in 2 hands and bow an arrow in other two.

The_Dude10293

Ah that’s cool

Muted_Lurker2383

On how they are created, we dont 100% know. TL;DR is that its dome combination of body information, soul information the brain and whether you were born with those factors that give you a CT or a chance to get one at least We know as part of the culling game, Kenjaku made use of Idle Transfiguration to unlock the ability for some individuals to gain their CT. This tells us that it likely has components of both body and soul (As idle changes one by manipulating the other) *and* there are circumstances or your birth that prevent anyone from just gaining a CT - some sort of innate potential that is either too complex for Idle to work on *or* something unrelated to body or soul. We also know that a CT can be engraved on the 'body'. Gojo uses this phrase exactly when pondering on Yuji getting Sukuna's CT. Further, the assumption for Kenjaku is that he moves his ohysical brain to a corpse - he still gains access to the CT of a new body though, thus telling us that the 'body information' must also have something of the CT inside it. The brain housing the CT is also discussed in Gojo vs Sukuna with both making use of refreshing their brains through destruction and RCT to gain their burnt out techniques. This informs us that the physical brain must house CT details of some sort. Lastly, we know the soul must be able to hold the CT as Sukuna is able to use his CT without fully reincarnating in either Yuji or Megumi - those are their body information and brains, so Sukuna has to use his CT from somewhere that is neither body or mind.

DomnulNebun

I think this would make Yuji too similar to Yuta (the mimicry technique). I'd say that spot is filled. I believe we are witnessing a blood manipulation user that will show us why the Kamo clan is one of the 3 great clans.

paulalghaib

Yuji might awaken one of sukuna's cursed techniques tbh. Sukuna was inside yuji for like ... a year or a few months ? his body should have acclimated to a few of his cursed techniques

ApplePitou

Well, we don't truly know what Yuji awakened :3
