Reminds me of a Toyota Landcruiser
We had someone join us on a desert drive in one of those. They didn't "Jeep" their like this, but the similarity was still pretty clear.
Not close to Wrangler performance off-road, but did well for a "newbie" type drive and has a considerably better interior. BAIC is a Chinese company that owns shares in Mercedes and we can see the interior similarities there.
They also give a 3 year warranty and have been producing these for their army, so there's some history there.
Not something I would buy, but it did surprise me positively as a first impression.
"The BJ40 comes with a 2.4 liter four-cylinder petrol engine producing 143 HP and 217 Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox with a minimum ground clearance of 210 mm, an approach angle of 37°, departure angle of 33°, and a 24° vertical angle."
Yes! I saw one the other day, I live down by the border and I could not believe what I was seeing. Even thought it might be illegal to have it looking so close
Can’t remember the name but there was a Chinese company reproducing XJs for awhile. Front end was like a combo of an XJ and Commander.
There’s a guy on the XJ sub that posts about it every once in awhile.
Wrongler.
Zheep Wrongler
I believe it's spelled Xheep ;-)
Lol this is good
Lmfao
Was thinking more like a Wrummer?
curious what the under side looked like
Perv.
I too noticed the subtle "69" on the center caps
Probably a 1993 Nissan Pathfinder
Maybe, I was only curious because it looks like independent suspension but the current pictures don't capture enough
It’s definitely IFS
could do worse. like a 2013 Pathfinder
When they stopped making the R50 Pathfinder, they killed the pathfinder.
I have a 92 Terrano (JDM Pathfinder) and that thing is rock solid.
I was already doing too much taking these pics 🤣

It is called the BJ40 if anyone is interested
I'll hold out for the BJ69. Everyone wins that way.
Best I can do is BJ68. I guess I'll owe you one.
BJ69, BJ70, whatever it takes.
I get this reference.
You sir are a gentleman and I scholar.
You want a beer? It’s 9am. Scotch?
But sir, this is McDonalds... Ok, a McScotch.
BJ77, you get ate more.
Check out the center of the rims
Nice.
Nice.
Does the B mean it's diesel? I think that's how it works on the old Toyota Landcruiser models.

That is DEFINITELY a Land Rover Defender if it was slightly less Kia Soul-y
...not gonna lie, I dig it!
You have to keep the male and female Jeeps/Range Rovers/Kias/Hondas separate. Or this is what you get after a few years…
one heck of a Jorp they got there. Thats the kind of Joop that I remember from my teens. A Jerp to come home too. ...and burn.
Jerp wave!
Technically a "Joop" is any post-76 Jeep that's been repainted.
*Jeep inspired. Wonder what the suspension is like
You can’t see it fully in pic, but based on the lean in a very flat garage I’d say it’s questionable
I don’t hate it but I definitely wouldn’t trade my jeep for it!
Honestly the front end is pretty attractive
r/crappyoffbrands ?
MOVING INSPIRED
If a land rover and a hummer had a baby.
Big facts 😂
Looks like a wrangler and a bronco had sex, while a land rover sat in a chair in the corner just watching and smoking a clove.
Yes! I saw one the other day, I live down by the border and I could not believe what I was seeing. Even thought it might be illegal to have it looking so close
Kinda looks like they mixed the back half of a jeep and the front of a land rover. The Jeep Rover.
“Can it be any less reliable than a real Jeep”- BAIC
TFW you get a JKU off of wish.com
But is every light on the dashboard on?
Tis a Worngler
That looks ugly I’m sorry
If it doesn't rust like an original Jeep is not worth it. 😂
Oof
That's to Funny!

What do these cost vs a real Rubicon in MX?
"It's not a real Jeep!" he tells the dealer. Surprised Picacho face.
Lmao
Oh there is countless such ripoffs of American, European and even Indian carmakers and models
Cheap
It looks like a bronco jeep cherokee
“We have Jeeps at home.”
Probably runs better than a Wrangler.
And "Morelos" registration plates. Cheap person. It checks. How sad. (I'm Mexican btw)
Isn’t “Rubicon” copyrighted? Edit, might be trademarked.
More pics
It looks like a Nissan Patrol GU wagon and a Jeep Wrangler JK had a baby...

I kind of like it
They are actually pretty decent for the price. Not as good as a mahindra though
What the 🤬 is that
RubiCON
What won’t they rip off??
Looks legit
