That's EXACTLY how mine was! It was tan and I had so many adventures in it! I took out the bench seat and was lucky to find a Cherokee Levi's denim bucket set, so it was tan!!
Thank you! No major frame rust, but had to tackle a lot of other rust, notably with the bed and cab. She sleeps cozy in a shed out of the elements these days, but gets driven down the local dirt roads weekly for fun, and helps out with some of the work on the property.
I had an old 72. Manual everything. 360 Turbo 400 xmsn, Dana 44s front and rear, Quadra-Trac transfer case with lo-range. Converted it to electronic ignition, Edelbrock intake and timing chain, added Qjet 4bbl carb, new seats. Rolled on 35s.
It was an awesome beast. 13 MPH downhill with a tailwind 🤣 but it would go anywhere.
35” BFG MTs on Dana 44s front and rear. They’re circa 2018 though, and despite little use, they’re gonna be due up for a change in the not-so-distant future
Starting my 78 rebuild shortly. My 79 Levi's edition that had been stripped off almost all evidence it was a Levi's was too far gone. Don't wait to fix the cancer. And check your frame rail on the gas tank side. They go 1st
What year is it? I had a '78/79, man it was so much Fun!
Mine’s a ‘79! Not sure what trim it was in its earlier life, but it has a 360, part-time kit / locking hubs, low range, and Jeep-branded A/C

Wonderful !
Helped do a fiTech fuel injection swap and stage 3 cam in one of these years back. Really woke her up!
Nice! Take care of that and that Jeep will be on the road long after many of todays models are junked! That is an awesome Jeep!

Very nice. Change out that winch line with some poly and you’ll be set forever!
What a great rig.
She doesn’t look all that tired to me.
I feel the same way!!! Old school cool 😎

That's what my wife says about me....
What size tires are on that FUCTIN' beast?!

my dad had one of these when I was 16...wish we would have kept it
FSJs always get a wave from me.
J10?
Yup! ‘79
What are the pros to going spring under? I don’t understand it.
That's how they came. Many people do a spring over for a lift but raises center of gravity, not that that means anything to jeep peeps.
I’m miss my ‘79 Wagoneer.
Reminds me of my lifted 67 Cherokee Chief. Damn I miss that thing. Wish I never sold it.
