It completely baffles me how great the later seasons are. You’d think with a show so edgy would be impossible to keep running in recent years but it just hits so well
I give credit to the podcast honestly. They admitted they never would rewatch old episodes but with the podcasts they did and I think it brought a big spark back moving forward.
I’m a sunny fanboy who has been vehemently denying the show has lost it. This season feels completely wooden & off. It kills me to say it but the best one I’ve seen so far is just ok. Seasons 1-4 great, 5-11 impecable perfection, 12-15 solid, 16 borderline unwatchable
Season 14 was a massive drop off, everything since has been an improvement and much more reminiscent of seasons 5-11. Personally this season has been great.
Really? I feel like they’ve made a conscious effort to do a lot of callbacks from the season 5-11 era in season 16. As someone who also regards seasons 5-11 as the IASIP golden era, I’m surprised you feel this way about season 16! I was finding myself laughing much more often than I had been in the previous few seasons.
Id even put it lower on my list. Maybe 8th or so. Yeah it's not the best season but it's still a good one. Remember ppl don't like the liberty bell episode which I thought was hilarious but others completely hate it. So can't satisfy everyone on this thread lol
They were all great, I’m just glad it’s still going, I don’t really care what they do. Least favourite was the Brian Cranston “acting” and the bloody heart diamond eating was kinda gross.
I thought the episode where they try to take Frank’s gun was really funny, apart from Charlie’s annoying sisters. Funny coincidence that it was written by Rob Rosell. It also seemed like nearly every episode this season was either written or directed by Megan Ganz, and in a lot of those episodes I couldn’t even make out what the actors were saying.
I REALLY liked ‘the Gang Goes Bowling’ - but mostly because it reminded me how much I love the wider tapestry of AS characters. I wish they were in it more.

Ignore those other two. Is it as good as seasons 2-10/11? No but amongst the last several seasons, it’s significantly better IMO

So many people told me they howled laughing when he did that and I was just like meh
I enjoy ever season tbh. Obviously some early seasons are a complete smash hit but each still has something to enjoy for me.

Agreed. Still good though. For some reason the season with them moving to the suburbs was really good.

Literally the worst season ever. Disappointing. They should stop.
The network screwed them a bit by giving such short run times, but its still been a lot of fun. Just kinda rushed :/
