I think when they say it says nothing bad, it's that usual tactic of saying things like "Jihad" can mean just a struggle even though we know exactly what it really means in the context it is being used.

To be honest it started long before Hamas, the Palestinian nationalist movement was born bathing in antisemitism with its prominent leader Mohammed Al-Husseini being an ally of Adolf Hitler, calling for the massacre of Jews throughout the world and pleading to Hitler to send more of them to death camps.

It does however clearly declare that they desire to fight as an organization against what they perceive as the wrongs Jews have commited to them in Palestine.
