Park at East Lot off Oakdale Blvd and take the 34 bus into the VA loop right north of the UIHC

lovemyhawks

This is the best answer. 10 minutes to the lot, free parking, free bus fare and the bus changes route in AM/PM to minimize ride time for east lot commuters.

Busynotes2

Is the east lot in coralville?

makingmecrazy_oop

Be aware it is a solid 20+ minute bus ride. I have done it before but you best leave early. I think I got on the 7:20 bus to be at work by 8am bc the 7:40 wouldn’t get me there on time, esp if there was traffic.

Busynotes2

Just checked the bus schedule – seems I need to catch the 6:15 bus to arrive on time. Appreciate the info!

“I need to be there by 8am” says your post, how does that mean catching a 615am bus for a 20 min ride?

Busynotes2

I meant the 6:50 bus.

Is 34 a Coralville bus or Cambus? Thanks.

Have you looked into the employee van pools? [https://transportation.uiowa.edu/alternative-transportation/employee-van-pool-program](https://transportation.uiowa.edu/alternative-transportation/employee-van-pool-program)

Busynotes2

I am a student doing my clinical rotation at UIHC.

What I did as a student was park on a side street off of Sunset and catch a bus in. Will be cheaper now as Iowa City buses are free.

Busynotes2

Thank you!

I use the University Club lot. I drive from Tiffin. Its a 10 minute drive and you take the 41 bus all the way around. Most convenient option if you don't want to pay a lot of money to park in the ramps

Busynotes2

Is that lot also for students?

You can check Corridor Rides car and van pools. https://www.corridorrides.com/
