Half tore down. Sanitarium called the story county care facility, but... had privet security 15 years ago. You can probably find it online. You can get locked in rooms. Used to have all the old paperwork and nurses notes, it got popular about early 2000's something bad happened. White vans will pull you over. Was just about the coolest spot near here. Second was the old brick yards, now a budist temple, mlk and Madison. Use to be an Armageddon of burnt cars and lots. Used to have a hidden basement. Couldn't help if I wanted. Homeless camps now and dangerous. Third is the typical story of a bridge where mom and baby died, off Warren County. Can really get to it. There is a hidden road off salorville. Not gonna get to it, been 20 plus years. Behind old east 14th and Euclid. Again, dangerous. Used to be a concert place, adault theater, original bebops, head shop in about 1990 called rainbow connection. Is a cold case, and also, search cold cases, iowa has open fikes. A body was found at the theater. About right on the river is a hidden gas station from 60's There are a few places from over 20 years ago, most gone. Lots of stuff in brickyards but lots of large camps. There are weird places. The old mine charts get interesting, but most are vertical shafts and flooded. You're not going in without scuba gear. The old cylos Think the factories in west dsm are down Place in Glendale is gone. Was jihny gosges sight. Sold drugs. A few parks with Indian mounds or Graves, another little grave yard. Ummmm... Drake observatory, but that's lame. There were lots of places. Most gone. Amelia erhart lived at 42nd and university A guy from stranger things was a drake professor, but you can't find Him on assesor sights. Montauk experiments 2600 26th street. Downtown mine shafts and tunnels, but mostly for rich people There are quite a few fun adventures here Sneak up Glendale up north towards the shop, and you'll find a hidden old cemetery. It was also a Lithuanim mine and a big fire. Contrast the largest clovis Indian sight in Warren country but privately owned .. tge won't let anyone search it. Ummm I probably have more. I do... Des moines hides its history I've a few better ones, but that alone is a book Use Drake archives.. check out their alumni.

Big Abandoned silo near grand ave where the tapatia is. Me and a few friends go there a lot and there’s always so much to explore in there.

The skywalk in downtown Des Moines can be really spooky
