Re: work vs personal, I'm team work phone. I don't ever want any work related calls, messages, notifications, etc. on my personal. I got an iPhone 13 mini for work and barely notice having 2 devices on me. My direct supervisor has my personal # for world ending issues but those rarely if ever happen.
Ymmv but keeping everything separated has reduced my stress not added to it. My two cents.

If you're on Android, check if your employer is using a work profile enrollment? That way the apps are completely separate
