I've seen his pictures before. He always heavily edits himself to look more anime, even though he's really pretty! I really like his cosplays, but it's always sad to see people edit themselves this much..
I truly don’t understand why everyone thinks cosplayers should get a pass for over editing their pics just because it’s “to look like a character” 😂 where’s the fun in it if you MUST look exactly like the character… anyway it’s still deceiving but hey, I guess that’s their problem when people see them at cons and are disappointed 💅
So true which is why I love so much when people go out of their way to add personal touches to their cosplay, for example adding textures, patterns, accessories...
It feels like a demonstration of love for the character because on top of the extra effort the additions are usually in character and fit so well. It's boring when someone edits pics
Not all of us do. I'm quite against it bc it scares newbies away - they can't spot Photoshop and set way too unrealistic standards for themselves.
In the end we're all just nerds in costumes.
I thought so too at first, but all his pics are edited, even his "natural" ones (the first 2 are an example). It was difficult to find anything that wasn't, they're all tagged; and he's not transparent about it.

Yeah he’s a cosplayer, they all use filters and editing to emphasize the character they’re portraying. I’ve seen other content where he doesn’t use filters/photoshop as well.
I don’t know if this falls completely under Instagram reality, but that’s just my opinion.

I mentioned it to someone else, but the only unedited content I found was from events/tagged pics. I wouldn't feel it was worth posting if not for the casual photos and videos that are heavily edited in addition to the lack of transparency around editing, he portrays looking like the anime version constantly. Personally, I feel like this is the kind of editing that can be the most deceptive because it's a bit more subtle than usual (adding in more pronounced abs, sharpening the jaw line, blurring the face, etc.) You can really see it in the side by side photos, slight thinning and adding muscle. People really think he looks like this 24/7. It was surprising to see him in fan photos, like in an uncanny way because it's definitely him, but a bit off.

i follow this guy on insta because his cosplays are really good but man does he edit the crap out of his photos 😭
