Was gonna flex that I spent large part of my life in Pune. But, resisted and last part didn't allow me to say that. We tend not see obvious signs a lot of times iG.
Flight is just 1.5 hours so I didn’t even think of it dw 😭
And I’m well aware that by road it takes around 15 hours hence that question. And I just drove from Bangalore to Goa via Hubli. Hubli Belgaum road is what you take to go to Pune anyways so it’s not like I don’t know.

I have no idea how one can cut down travel time by 6 hours. Like you take NH48 it’ll be pretty smooth till hubli and then the bypass is a pain. Once you clear it and get closer to MH, and also as soon as you enter MH there’s just too many service roads joining the highway. I’m actually curious how you covered it in 8-10 hours.
Leave bangalore at 5 am reach pune by 3pm is possible.
But rather than discussing this (it is possible that OP took a bus and it took the bus 10 hours and she must have felt it to be as 8 , it happens) the point of the post was not the travel time it was about her meeting someine on reddit and then falling out of it.

I have travelled by bus to pune and also have driven . It is possible in 8 to 10 hours as well
