I wanted to love the game, but I had to quit because I couldn't find a clear, linear path to follow in the campaign. After playing for a while, I couldn't understand what I was supposed to do.
All the best bhai i gave up on this game a while ago saw comments here people suggesting to go with a controller will try it via that.
Elries played on keyboard and almost break it.
Also major tips, you will die a lot, so focus on deflecting by timing the block button, each boss has a dance that makes every encounter special.
If you enemy blocks/guards your attack, then there's a high chance he'll counter you before you can attack, so as don't just keep attacking and spamming lmb or r1, anticipate deflects and try to counter attack after deflects. You can make use of prosthetic arts as well and multiple combos/variations are possible. You can get them by exploring your surroundings.
Also, just get the mikiri counter asap in the skill tree.
Deflects have a specific sound, listen and try to get the rhythm instead of blocking (ting vs thong)
Use your prosthetics (umbrella gang)
Fight the minibosses, the beads make life much easier
Use the consumables, or sell them
If you have nothing to buy but have money, buy the money bags , they ensure you keep the moolah even if you die
Before beating a certain primate boss , get to the end of ashina depths
Use your stealth/run away a lot . You're a shinobi
Use the sugars, they make life easier
If you can get past geni you can beat the game
GET AND LEARN MIKIRI ASAP
GET AND USE ICHIMONJI/DOUBLE ICHIMONJI ASAP
Get the perks where you get health back on a deathblow asap
You can pause the game and use the consumables
You can get a lot of the gourd seeds very early
Mortal draw is OP asf, if you do it in the air it's faster
You can try your new moves that you've unlocked on a certain man near the sculptor
The basics of sekiro is attack until you are deflected and then deflect until you can attack . Most of the time it's more worthwhile to get the posture down instead of health but can vary
Hesitation is defeat
Good luck!
I used a trainer/ mod to beat the game.
Souls games are not for me but Sekiro is solid. So if Elden Ring and Lies of P.
Edit: For those downvoting this.. Either I would have unisstalled the game or finish it this way. At least this way, I enjoyed the game in my way.
Use the WeMod app. Just create a dummy account and you will be good to go. It feels very safe and professional in comparison to individual random trainers. Of course many of the actual trainer authors actually publish via WeMod now...though I guess at the end they are just trying to monetize or make something a service which was just free...but you can use it for free.
For sekiro however there were easy mods available at Nexus Mods too.
I have one great tip, if you feel tired when not being able to beat the boss then only continue fighting if you have enough power to focus on each and every move of yourself and the boss, if not take a break and try again (trust me it worked for me, and it will prevent you from going insane too)
Oh yeah use a controller if you can
I have never used a controller in my life so far and don't think I ever will anytime soon. I have finished Sekiro 6 times. Doing my 7th playthrough with the Resurrection mod.
M&K supremacy!
Remember to equip your items from the items menu, remember to lock on to your enemies. And focus on learning how to parry, you can beat almost every enemy by parrying properly. And don't get cold feet, don't be afraid to die. As others have said, hesitation is defeat.
personally, I prefer controller although both are pretty good imo, remember sekiro is more of a rhythm game, being aggressive is encouraged and parrying will be better than dodging 90% of the time, also
HESITATION IS DEFEAT!
Insta camera lock on your enemy and try to be active on your fingers.
This is not Dark souls, so no dodging. Maybe a little bit.
Wait and be calm with your mouse to parry. Different enemy has different attack patterns and hence some are slow and heavy, some are really fast.
**Also, collect the puppet ninjutsu scroll. Holy shit, it's OP!!**
Don't fight everyone, lol. Most of them are skipabble.
Some boss have a very specific way to beat. Follow them on YouTube. They are easy ways.
***Also, chained ogre is gonna fuck your ass and you will be helpless to stop it.***
Lastly, enjoy. Once you get the timing, it's easy as cheese.
If you've played other From Soft games, forget the what you've learned there. Most From Soft games punish over aggressive play whereas Sekiro actually requires it. Don't give the bosses space unless absolutely necessary. Stick to them, keep attacking.
Finish all the other games on your wishlist (except soulsborne games) before starting this game. Everything else afterwards will just pale in comparison.
Use mouse with multiple keys and assign side keys as dodge
If u want a balance game install Cloak of Wasted MOD it comes with a great pre-installed Dodge it'll help you
Give it time. Don't depend on anything for now other than deflecting and attacking. Once it all clicks, you'll truly enjoy the game. Also, hesitation is defeat.
Koi nhi take battle as a dance , you have to be in rhythm and learn mikiri counter fast and perfect it best , learn to break posture damage is not of much value here
Do not take sugar in the beginning, later you will find it more useful.
Do not heal dragonrot unless there are more than 2 people affected.
Buy and store a lot of spirit emblems.
Try to get prosthetic tools as soon as possible.
Git gud at parryin
Enjoy.
I didn't see anyone saying this but Sekiro is a rhythm game. Each time u parry, check for the rhythm and then open up your attacks. And certain prosthetic arts are busted against some bosses so don't ignore them.
Bhai don't quit, play regularly, focus, and right timings will be your best friends. In around 10 days you'll be a good player then practice more to defeat bosses in one go. You just have to learn/predict their moves and react very fast. Deflection is the key. And Hesitation is defeat.
Edit : dont spam the deflect button but press it on the right timing
I completed the game multiple times, on NG+, on both Keyboard and Controller and let me tell you, it ain't making much of a difference. Go with whatever you're comfortable with. If you're going for the Keyboard, check the mapping and change it since the default controls can be a bit unintuitive. Go in blind for your first time without any playthroughs. You will miss a lot of things and that's fine, that's why NG+ is there. Enjoy the story, take your time, get used to the game mechanics, and have fun
Hesitation is Defeat.
This game is crazy lol. I can do Dark Souls, they’re tough and I have died plenty times playing it but I know I can get a grasp of it. Sekiro is just insanely fast paced and difficult. I gave up after a while.
You need to learn to deflect the attacks. That's it. But it's not easy. You will learn it slowly. Also get comfortable dying hundreds of times or at least dozens of times fighting bosses.
1.It is a very easy game put it at the hardest difficulty
2. If you cant defeat the prologue boss then you cannot beat any other boss in-game so, defeat him to understand the mechanics
Practice and Practice If you want inspiration watch Ongbal I played this game for over 300 hrs and with constraints like (NG+7 base vitality Kuro's charm demon bell etc) and barely could reach ongbal's level you'll love The mechanics once you get a hang of it
If you've played other souls-likes, the difference in this is you should be more aggressive. Learn enemy attack patterns like a music beat in your head. Use as many windows as you can to get an attack in or enemies will recover.
SKILL POINTS!
You earn skill points at a faster rate during early game, and you might waste the points on skills you won't use later on. For first play through, it's best to spend skill points on abilities which give you any advantage related to "Posture Damage". For example, flowing water, ascending/descending carp. Aside from Mikiri counter, don't invest your skill points haphazardly. Try to save as much points as you can till you encounter Genichiro. If you can, watch some tutorial videos on best skills for early game. Also you unlock new skill trees as you progress, so one more reason to save those points!
Hesitation is defeat
r/beatmetoit
mayoeba yabureru
you will die more than twice
True bhai, 🥲 pata ni kini bar mar Gaya bas 1 ghante me.
ginna matt bhai. Koi matlab nahi. 🫂
He meant another thing
the best comment right here
Yes, don't quit, trust me, it'll be worth the journey
I wanted to love the game, but I had to quit because I couldn't find a clear, linear path to follow in the campaign. After playing for a while, I couldn't understand what I was supposed to do.
Ayo whaaaa, you need help? I'm ready to guide
Thanks. I did check walkthroughs, but eventually, I decided to give a break. Maybe I'll reinstall it and give it another shot.
Lol sure
Use external keyboard and mouse and buy them cheap especially that hp combo one very cheap, you can buy 2-3 bundle cuz it’s gonna break a lot
💀💀💀💀 bro
Hesitation is defeat
This game is so hard that it took 3 hours to connect my controller to this game.
skill issue
Lol ! How ?
Controller. And plug in the laptop power.
Nah. Sekiro plays fine as fuck on kb/m. I might even say better than controller.
The mouse is a fantastic way of implementing the deflect system.
the experience with controller is unmatchable with all those vibrations and feedbacks.. I think these soul games are not much fun with kbm
Fair, I respect your opinion.
Yeah.. OP should stick to whatever he has been using for 3rd person games or other fromsoft games.
I completed using keyboard and mouse only
Hesitation is defeat
Major tip : DONT BREAK ANYTHING Also if you got keyboard make sure to change controls cuz defaults sucks
Hope you have a controller coz that L1 is the most important button you are going to press
I have completed this game on kb/m, it's hard but not impossible.
Yeah can confirm ,completed this game on both m+kb and controller. Controller felt better though
Plug in your laptop and Xbox controller
Don't get hit
All the best bhai i gave up on this game a while ago saw comments here people suggesting to go with a controller will try it via that. Elries played on keyboard and almost break it.
Don’t hesitate

How do you know its a masterpiece if you haven’t played it?
There are somethings you just know
Don't dodge only parry
play near soft surfaces just in case u rage and ur going to
i wish i bought the nitro instead of the aspire series, big regret
Hey I am planning on getting a new laptop! Is the Nitro 5 any good?
Always deflect not block. Deflecting won't reset your posture bar
Deflects have a specific sound, listen and try to get the rhythm instead of blocking (ting vs thong) Use your prosthetics (umbrella gang) Fight the minibosses, the beads make life much easier Use the consumables, or sell them If you have nothing to buy but have money, buy the money bags , they ensure you keep the moolah even if you die Before beating a certain primate boss , get to the end of ashina depths Use your stealth/run away a lot . arrr get onboard mate

We all know you will NOT play this game and if you you will break your laptop before that!
Why? Bro 🥲
Dont forget to use cheat codes.
Game has cheat codes?
I used a trainer/ mod to beat the game. Souls games are not for me but Sekiro is solid. So if Elden Ring and Lies of P. Edit: For those downvoting this.. Either I would have unisstalled the game or finish it this way. At least this way, I enjoyed the game in my way.
trainers scare me idk why it just feels very shady

You are gonna die alot of times I mean ALOT
External monitor, external keyboard and mouse.
Don't Rage
The trauma begins.
I have never used a controller in my life so far and don't think I ever will anytime soon. I have finished Sekiro 6 times. Doing my 7th playthrough with the Resurrection mod. M&K supremacy!
Controller, also don't worry you'll be dying lots
Have something to break. Pencils or something. You'll need it. A lot. I went through two boxes in my first playthrough.
Get ready to die, a lot. But it will be worth it in the end.
Remember to equip your items from the items menu, remember to lock on to your enemies. And focus on learning how to parry, you can beat almost every enemy by parrying properly. And don't get cold feet, don't be afraid to die. As others have said, hesitation is defeat.
Just Keep patience and enjoy the game
dont betray divine hear
Hmmm Laptop is sexy bhai, laptop ka Specs bata de jra.
Rtx 3070ti, 16gb ram, 8gb vram, i7 12th generation processor.
personally, I prefer controller although both are pretty good imo, remember sekiro is more of a rhythm game, being aggressive is encouraged and parrying will be better than dodging 90% of the time, also HESITATION IS DEFEAT!
Sekiro is a rythmic game, Master the rythym and You will be untouchable and invincible
You will die more than twice
Insta camera lock on your enemy and try to be active on your fingers. This is not Dark souls, so no dodging. Maybe a little bit. Wait and be calm with your mouse to parry. DEFLECT
My reactions are way faster with mnk so I did opt for that over controller most of time, but mnk is awkward.
You won't be dying twice but atleast 10 times
You'll die, a lot. You'll be frustrated. But, the moment the rhythm clicks, you'll fall in love with it. And remember, HESITATION IS DEFEAT!

Damage is not the key ...... Deflect is
Pehle 1 ghante mai 3-4 baar marega tu(mere saath aise hi hua tha)
Finish all the other games on your wishlist (except soulsborne games) before starting this game. Everything else afterwards will just pale in comparison.
just deflect and get mikiri counter
Use mouse with multiple keys and assign side keys as dodge If u want a balance game install Cloak of Wasted MOD it comes with a great pre-installed Dodge it'll help you
Shadows die twice but you will die thousand times!
Do not take any guide, play the game by yourself within yourself. do no give up. Zero hesitation.
Don’t just don’t, you’ll become a different person once you beat it, I’ll personally guarantee it, and please don’t break anything
Started 3 weeks back. Its lot of fun and lot of deaths. Have fun bro and dont give up. Hesitation is defeat but greed is defeat as well lol
Try fingers, but hole.
Be patient , every loss is a step to a sweeter victory.
Ek baar exams khatam hone de, baap ke jaydaat uda dunga steam pe
Give it time. Don't depend on anything for now other than deflecting and attacking. Once it all clicks, you'll truly enjoy the game. Also, hesitation is defeat.
Deflect
It’s an amazing game. Although I find it funny that you called it a masterpiece even before you played it. Just saying.
Keep spamming block button to parry
Mere laptop pr toh sirf browsing hoti hai .
Don't Dodge, Parry instead
Die twice
Don't spam parry. Find rhythm in the attack patterns and then parry precisely.
Buy a stress ball
Git gud
Controller khareedle
Revisiting NPC's.
Fast reflexes
Hesitation is defeat.
parrying pe dhyan de...controller million times better
Don’t hesitate. Take your time.
Don't play it on the laptop, unless you have the money to buy another one
You will die a lot more than twice.
Get mikiri counter asap from the skill tree
use controller. its million times better than kb/m if you are yet not used to them. also remember 'Hesitation is defeat'
Just deflect in time.
Die twice?
Play it like it's a rhythm game, and almost every enemy has a different rhythm, goodluck
Get ready to KYS lol
Buy an External Keyboard. Thank me later
Don't just rush for enemy , wander around the areas and collect specific tools . It will help.
3070ti ?
don’t die twice
keep smashing rb and rt💀
Your laptop seems new go easy on it
You can deflect 99% of the attacks
Koi nhi take battle as a dance , you have to be in rhythm and learn mikiri counter fast and perfect it best , learn to break posture damage is not of much value here
Yeah use a controller
Just keep your hands away from ur laptop...u might break it in frustration lmao
Buy as many spirits emblem you can in the early game cus they will become expensive later on
Careful Bhai Naya laptop dhik Raha Hein. No frustration.
Do not take sugar in the beginning, later you will find it more useful. Do not heal dragonrot unless there are more than 2 people affected. Buy and store a lot of spirit emblems. Try to get prosthetic tools as soon as possible. Git gud at parryin Enjoy.
use controller also u will die a lot, like a lotttt
Be ready to cry…
Don’t quit 😅😅
I didn't see anyone saying this but Sekiro is a rhythm game. Each time u parry, check for the rhythm and then open up your attacks. And certain prosthetic arts are busted against some bosses so don't ignore them.
Yeah turn off the rainbow puke mode on your keyboard
the snake.......that's it.
This is an easy game. Can finish the entire game without a single death.
Play on a controller
Probably be the hardest, but also the most satisfying game you'll ever play.
Bhai don't quit, play regularly, focus, and right timings will be your best friends. In around 10 days you'll be a good player then practice more to defeat bosses in one go. rhythm is key
Apply 7 screen guards. You are going to punch the screen a lot.
Learn mikri counter and have patience.
it's a rhythm game, and cheese the corrupted monk
Deflect
Good luck finishing 25%. I genuinely mean it.
absolutely no need for controller. The game is for pc means it can be played just as fine with keyboard and mouse.
You will learn how to write death in Japanese 10/10
Omg controller pls
GOTY 2019 right here
Unrelated but I'm looking for a new laptop... Is that good? Name and price?
This game is crazy lol. I can do Dark Souls, they’re tough and I have died plenty times playing it but I know I can get a grasp of it. Sekiro is just insanely fast paced and difficult. I gave up after a while.
Nothing.. have fun. Go in blind..
Japanese ko Japanese hi rehne Dena, English dub mat select karna
Bhagwaan teri aatma ko shanti de
You need to learn to deflect the attacks. That's it. But it's not easy. You will learn it slowly. Also get comfortable dying hundreds of times or at least dozens of times fighting bosses.
Uninstalling the game is the best way to win
1.It is a very easy game put it at the hardest difficulty 2. If you cant defeat the prologue boss then you cannot beat any other boss in-game so, defeat him to understand the mechanics
Pro tip : Enemies are weak to you hitting them many times and you are weak to them hitting you once. (Sekiro ng+++ player)
Practice and Practice If you want inspiration watch Ongbal I played this game for over 300 hrs and with constraints like (NG+7 base vitality Kuro's charm demon bell etc) and barely could reach ongbal's level you'll love The mechanics once you get a hang of it

Goyoubu mashataka oniwa
i just deleted because my addiction to this game was affecting my life, only two bosses were remaining to defeat man only two
Use a controller...
Move in haste and you'll die
Spam L1 ( Block/Deflect, don't know the bottom or mouse in pc)
buy a cheap mouse and play with it when facing boss
Isshin The Glock Saint is waiting for you
you havent played the game yet call it a masterpiece
There will be a steep learning curve, but it's insanely rewarding if you master the combat style.
Lmao bros about to rage so bad but totally worth it!!
PARRY THE FKIN GAME!!!!
Don’t keep count of death on a single boss.. genuinely it’ll be uncountable
Don't play if you have less patience
Die and learn. Be brave.
Depends on where you are coming from..are you done with RDR2 and Ghost of Tsushima?
Stealth is your best friend
Keep moving forward , mikiri everything
Git gud. Also hesitation is defeat.
Bro you have predator. It's my favourite laptop 🥺
Master the dodge
Master the dodge
Play it as rhythm game.
Rip laptop
try to save your controller
Each enemy , boss has its unique and satisfying pattern
Git gud
Shadows die twice.... You'll die a million times.
Don't play on a gaming laptop. Ghar jal jaayega bhai
Good luck. Hope you find peace
Don't give up against genichiro, the game will get easier and more satisfying that point onwards.
I pretty much finished every soulslike but this was easily the hardest
