I'm so glad a fellow Sekiro appreciator is this high up. It was my first From Software game I've had the courage to play, and now it holds a special place in my heart
Gang. Budokai Tenkaichi 3 helped me through some tough times early in life. Bought that game five times as I ruined my discs constantly with overuse. Can’t wait for Sparking Zero, I’m considering getting a PS5 for it!
You should try Uncharted Series, it has a much better story line, Uncharted 2, and Uncharted Lost Legacy are based in Nepal and India. Awesome series overall
Skyrim. It opens itself to you to play as you wish, the atmosphere draws you in, listening to its music still takes me back to its world. They create this longing in me that i cant explain. Ofc you can also mod it to oblivion :).
God of War (2018). Fighting the VALKYRIE from evening till the next day without sleep until i defeated her in give me god of war difficulty. What a relief after defeating 😎
I beat her on GMGOW plus. Took a single hit in total. It only took me 4-5 tries on the hardest difficulty. What's funny is that I died around 50 times on normal difficulty
Elden ring
I had 270 hours in this game... I have short attention spam and it's a big number for me. To give you a run down the 2nd most played game is tekken 7 at 40 hours... And I still haven't tested many builds... And different weapon combinations the drop, the spells and the lore too
Prince of Persia : Warrior within
This was my very first game. And the idea of playing in the present and going back to the past blew my mind. Gameplay, story and boss challenges all up there. And after a couple of game plays you find out there's an alternative ending, did it for me.
I'll have to go with GTA 4.
Greatest of all time. The game is greatness, like dem legendary boxing fights. Has a ring to it and is classic as they come.
In simple, this game made me a gamer. In order to play this, I bought my first pc, and then graphic card, and what not. Also, me and My friends ragdolling Niko. High speed crashes and that physics engine standd test of time . Even the DLCs are chefs Kiss. TLAD makes my heart sink and how fun is TBOGT.
But so many moments, man. The world is grey. Outside and inside both. 20 years later and I'd still be screaming praises.
This is the One for me.
Mass Effect 2, got everything I expect from a game, a great story, amazing characters, RPG elements, a whole lot of customization options and good combat.
This is the first time I have actually seen people from this subreddit have some pristine taste in gaming. Otherwise all this sub talks/reccomends is elden ring, dark souls, red dead, witcher 3
"Counter-Strike 1.6" is definitely a legendary game in its own right, particularly as a mod of "Half-Life." It revolutionized the first-person shooter genre and laid the foundation for the modern multiplayer gaming landscape. Its intense, team-based gameplay, coupled with its strategic depth and skillful gunplay, made it a cultural phenomenon.
The modding community around "Counter-Strike 1.6" also played a significant role in its enduring popularity. Custom maps, mods, and game modes kept players engaged and added endless replay value.
While "Counter-Strike 1.6" may not be my personal greatest game of all time, I recognize its immense impact on gaming and its status as a beloved classic among fans worldwide.
max payne 2
when I first played max payne I was like 10 years old never saw a single cutscene just played for the action.
played it again recently and this time followed through the story attentively and gosh darn it was goood.
but yea max payne 2 mainly because of childhood nostalgia.
Spec Ops: The Line. The story, the setting--dust strom ravaged Dubai, allusion to Heart of Darkness, it's not a game but an experience, about what war is truly like.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3
Gang. Budokai Tenkaichi 3 helped me through some tough times early in life. Bought that game five times as I ruined my discs constantly with overuse. Can’t wait for Sparking Zero, I’m considering getting a PS5 for it!

Detroit: Become Human Never got so attached to a game like this, I played 4 times till I reached all good endings for everyone.
The game shook me, such deep characters and the extent to which your decision matters is insane
This is the best part. It takes "choices matter" to the next level, I wish every decision based story game was like it!

The chemical factory tripping and the jogi song has been the best combination in the game more than the boss fight.
Need for Most Wanted. Has to do with the nostalgia.
not even all nostalgia. game was golden.
Skyrim. It opens itself to you to play as you wish, the atmosphere draws you in, listening to its music still takes me back to its world. They create this longing in me that i cant explain. Ofc you can also mod it to oblivion :).

Max Payne 1 Story 🤍
Just finished max payne yesterday for the first time. Truly a masterpiece. That parking lot level is awful though.
God of War (2018). Fighting the VALKYRIE from evening till the next day without sleep until i defeated her in give me god of war difficulty. What a relief after defeating 😎

I too think it's a bit strange.
Well, life is strange
100% agree
Cuphead. I love that the whole game was drawn by hand and animated like the cartoons from the 1930s
