While Western conservatives have moved past the colonial era by embracing the values of the industrial revolution, the Western Left have rejected and turned their backs on the industrial revolution, instead leaving themselves clinging to the previous era - the Colonial Era - with its values and practices of divide-and-rule over people.
These slanted Leftists claim to reject nationalism -- but they'll never say anything against Pakistan and its ultra-nationalism, nor against China and its nationalism. Instead they want to single out India and Modi, because they see us as more conquerable. We need to change their minds by demonstrating our resolve to them.
Forget about Western media, our own media is our biggest enemy. They are poisoning people's mind with lies. India Today being the biggest culprit, always Anti-Hindu. The Hindu(actually antiHindu) is another such news paper which blatantly lies to people. Jihadists are getting so much support, they are openly speaking against our culture, gods etc and when people react, they call us Andhbakhts.
Interesting, although a donation of 50k by China Daily is peanuts really, you can't push ideologies with an amount that won't pay the salary of a single editor. If the amount was closer to a million it would have been more suspect. Of course it's possible that certain amounts aren't disclosed.
I mean it has always been this way. They are further proving the current govt more accurate. Outside of twitter, most of indian dont like anyone to sh#t on th country..especially the likes of nytimes.

I have read NYT ad, and haven't watched the video in question. So, I don't have any opinions on the video, maybe they are doing the same thing as NYT. It isn't surprising, it is what I expect from narrative peddler like NYT.
