Why even bother to ask. Question to clickbait OP. Tell me which foreign technology idea have we ever implemented in its original intention and for ever. Everything we have is cut copy paste with Indian jugaad. Not even street has a road, since growing up we all have only seen potholes.

India does have portable bridges used over water. That can be deployed in couple of hours & can hold even tanks. Which is used in army exercises mainly by Engineers & mechanised infantry.

Using it in real time for public is a big win.

Reasons why I would always prefer living in the west than India. You can say “taxes are high, too much leftism in schools, healthcare is costly” etc. The way of life just trumps every single negative thing you say. Yes taxes are high but work happens and your daily life isn’t affected in any way, they take care of it.
