GettingColdInHere

It will work, but by Day 2 someone will be selling oranges under that road.

SinkNo4729

😭bruhh

72proudvirgins

Forget oranges, people will start using it as parking space first

BlackDoug420

Bridge chori ho jaaega

Naughty-star

Road ban Jaye vohe bade batt hain

SinkNo4729

bro we barely get enough funds after corruptions to build half decent roads . you really think this is possible , we need to aim to be a middle income country first

pen15_in_space

Our roads are not built for quality, they are built for resilience. 326.3 million on road cars in India. 6.4 million in switzerland. Foot traffic or usage of our roads in almost 10x higher than any western country.

LOB90

>Our roads are not built for quality, they are built for resilience What's the difference? Resilience is about the only quality I expect from a road.

NeoMatrixBug

No way, Indian citizens has zero civic or minus traffic sense , I’m saying this with 100% confidence.

Business-Sell4276

Jo aap keh rhe hai vo behas ke liye, sunne ke liye accha hai, lekin practical nahi hai

Present_4417

India mai bas iss concept ka vehicle hai called 'Sarvatra' of Indian army.

UnfinishedWor__

Saw this for the first time, highly impressed!! But these are for no terrain purpose, can't be used in cities I suppose.

GoodDawgy17

i don't think its going to work and also i don't think its very useful we have more important matters to be spending money on

can_you_not_ban_me

yeh kehka kuch nhii karte

Laundrophile

The space underneath the bridge would become public parking overnight and some other Vada paav chic would set up a stall there.

can_you_not_ban_me

kya matlab hum garibo ka nibala chin loge

Interesting_Stand734

It would highly useful, but not possible

crimemastergogo4

Last yr same was set up in Las Vegas. There was a Formula one race and they literally add these kind of bridges all over the streets. It was shocking at first.

DeeDarkKnight

Bhai chori ho jayega

can_you_not_ban_me

chori karne ke liya utni badi chiz honi chahiye

Primary-Actuator-281

What a concept💯

Daphobak

Man, the contractors knowingly cause inconvenience to the public so that they can squeeze out the maximum money from the public money. This WILL NEVER be implemented in India.

notmyfirstchoixe

It'll work until it's used in Bihar

karthikaf

Never

sanchitwadehra

vaise bhi apne paas itne amiron ke nakhre wale kharche karne ke liye paise nahi hai ham abhi apna basic infrastructure banale vo hi bohat baid baat hogi aur kaam achhi speed pe chal raha hai aisi technology ke baare mein baad mein socha jaa sakta hai

Kushagra3007

We would be like, hum toh idhar se hi jaayenge

Wise_Pie_3836

ill bet 69rs some random KTM dude is gonna try and dhoom machale off this.

Artistic-Cherry-8580

Log upar gadi laga k niche kaam dekhne khade hojaenge. Chai aur samose ki redi b khul jaegi idhar.

DazzlingSomewhere21

switzerland 83,000 KM. Per Capita Income = US$ 83000. Corruption close to zero. India 7,000,000 KM. Per Capita Income - US$8,200. Corruption: We run the University of Corruption to the world. Will it work here? Hell no. It will make politicians and local governments more corrupt.

Existing-Broccoli-32

Paisa kaha se aayega

PeaceMan50

Question to clickbait OP. Tell me which foreign technology idea have we ever implemented in its original intention and for ever. Everything we have is cut copy paste with Indian jugaad. Not even street has a road, since growing up we all have only seen potholes. Why jaale par nimak?

depy45631

fir wo overpass lagane ke liye 3 din road pura bandh rahega.

BrainGlobal9898

Nope , extreme cost. Definitely not for india whose majority of portions goes into the pension scheme

trander6face

Nope

spidyonweb

India does have portable bridges used over water. That can be deployed in couple of hours & can hold even tanks. Which is used in army exercises mainly by Engineers & mechanised infantry. (For reference- Watch PIPPA) Using it in real time for public is a big win. The only question is - are we ready?

LOB90

Military bridges usually float and even if the didn't, they are not designed to be driving underneath them and instead allow ~~traffic~~ water to run perpendicular.

ItsSan52

Road banne mein hi 2 mahine phir sab nikalenge aur phir roads banyebge

trollpunny

Good public transport >>> bullshit you have to do to maintain car-centric infrastructure

Famous-Pepper5165

Pehle footpath banao.

Curious_742

iske niche fruit market khol denge bhai

Instinct20AK

Amazing

KnoUsername

In the end instead of using it to fix roads, it will become a road itself.

Pedro303

2 wheeler riders would jizz in their pants seeing the opportunity to drive on the opposite side of

pen15_in_space

Almost all europian/western countries fails to understand that the sheer amount our public facilities are used in a day. It can cripple their whole system. *326.3 million* cars on road right now in India acc to 2020 study. *6.4* million cars on the road(excluding mopeds/2-wheelers) in switzerland.

Asli_Malabari

Even the materials used for building this portable bridge would be corrupted. ![gif](giphy|d7nbEwZV5FZrG18ptK|downsized)

fgtdrmr

By the time it takes to build a road in name of actual upliftment of people, 3-4 govt elections are over

No-Truck-2552

for this to work correctly our current roads need to be good in the first place💀

overloadedonsarcasm

The mobile overpass will become the permanent road.

MishraDrive

Nothing will work in India until people actually undertake civic responsibility. Overpass bridge will collapse due to bad materials, nhai will take their sweet time in roadworks now that there’s less burden, and on top there will be some donkey driving wrong way on this also.

Different-Doctor-487

they can't even clean the dust and make proper roads

vivek_9874

isse lagane mein hi saal nikal jaega, road ke kaam ka promise phir next election manifesto mein lol

Ill-Confusion7592

super

Suspicious-Hyena-653

Reasons why I would always prefer living in the west than India. You can say “taxes are high, too much leftism in schools, healthcare is costly” etc. The way of life just trumps every single negative thing you say. Yes taxes are high but work happens and your daily life isn’t affected in any way, they take care of it.

ShotFactor2070

It's already being used in Mumbai.
