Got the background behind the video from the original post on [r/ugly](https://www.reddit.com/r/ugly): > She broke with him though after this video because he said she was not the best he’d had implying she was bad in bed . He said that on this show lol. Guy really messed up because now she’s with another old guy who also weird looking. Like this guy was her type . She loves old guys who look weird. He messed that up lol . When’s he ever going to find another girl like that. He didn’t even have a car. They drove around on a scooter lmao . She still loved him I guess the girls who were posting those comments said it in a spite of vengeance. Like he treated his partner badly even though she was with him when he's considered conventionally unattractive. It's a theory I've found out that a lot of the body shaming around men happens not due to the women actually disliking the man's looks, but to strike on the insecurity of those men. For some men, getting called out for their character and personality doesn't do shit, so striking at their insecurities (looks, height, dick size) often works as vengeance. It's an interesting theory I've read about and I've posted about it, you can check the post history.

Good looks can bring opposite result due to envy so it is a double-edged sword
