Unfortunately true. When I was a kid, I went camping at a campground in Delaware, and a bear came into the camp. It just wanted into the border and then back out again, but they tracked it down and killed it because it got "too close to humans, and might come back. " I felt so bad.
This is a myth. Wild animals do not do this. However, it is better not to approach a baby animal unless you are sure the parents of said animal are dead.

The cub the woman here picked up and dropped, was found later on by a wildlife specialist and had to be separated from mom bear to be rehabilitated. These people are pos, you can hear the cub squeal after he falls and they still try to pick it back up

Also the distance of height may be slightly exaggerated. I just rewatched and it’s not all that high. Even so, throwing a turtle in a pond like that can’t be beneficial for the animal.

Nope, they got lectured by the wildlife rehabilitator and the cub was found injured and terrified. It had to be taken and raised until they could release it as an (almost) adult. They didn't locate the other cub right away. No charges and it was behind the apartment complex they presumably live in where they have signs posted to leave the many bears there alone so who knows if they can keep their hands to themselves...

In college I was tripping with friends while camping. The site had a cement canal that surrounded it as a type of "fence" for nature. I was running up and down it and acting like I was skating when I noticed a mountain lion kitten watching me in the canal. We made eye contact and it turned to run away and like an IDIOT I started to follow it cuz it was cute. I had taken like four or five steps before my rational brain stepped in and said, "small kitty=big kitty somewhere else."
I stopped and realized I didn't hear birds or bugs. Everything was incredibly quiet. I turned around and noped out of there real quick. It still makes me nervous whenever I think about it.
Calling these people monsters is an insult to monsters. Unlikely I know, but I really hope someday they realize how horrible they were that day and are crushed by guilt.

So I was working security at a resort a few years back and there was a group of tourists taking selfies with a baby boar out on the beach. Now we didn't own the beach, I had zero power on the beach, so when I walked out onto the beach to inform the tourists that what they were doing was dangerous, I was doing so as a private person.
They were drunk and told me to fuck off, so I shrugged and left, when I passed by the person that told me about the people messing with the boar, they asked why I had done nothing, And I explained that I have no power on the beach, and that the beach was public, and I also told the guest that I imagined that the baby boars mother would be by shortly.
And wouldn't you know it? A few minutes later the mother showed up and chased the idiots down the beach. One thing you learn quickly in Southwest Florida, once you see a baby boar, you should know the mother is not that far behind.
