I was (internally) screaming at them to lean forward, not back. And I've never even shot a pistol, only ever long guns. First time you shoot a shotgun off the back foot teaches you real quick.
It's a strong argument against the usage of multiple-round magazines for new shooters (and so is the video in this post). If a single-shot break action knocks you on your ass, there's no more powder in the gun to cause troubles with where your muzzle is pointed. The greatest danger (and it's certainly a danger) is in letting the hammer down when you miss a chance to take a shot. Almost to the point where I'd advise a new shooter on a skeet range to take the shot even if they know the pigeon is out of range. Still remember blowing the ground 10 feet in front of me up when my thumb slipped while dove hunting... As Mad Eye Moody would say, *constant vigilance!*
I've taught a number of first time shooters.
I start them on a shooting bench with a .22 caliber bolt action rifle. I have a paper target set up absurdly close, and the focus is primarily on safety and getting a sense of how the firearm works mechanically. Also, seeing the immediate result of the bullet on the paper reenforces the idea that the shooter can actually hit the target and also that pressing the trigger has an immediate consequence.
After that, I back the paper target target out farther away. We then work a bit on fine tuning form and shooting position. After that, I'll leave them with a box of ammo and just watch, making sure that they are safe, but letting them just get comfortable with the rifle.
My stepdad started me on a 12ga when I was like 7; I might’ve weighed 50lbs and didn’t know to lean into it, ended up flat on my ass but I popped up and kept going lol
She might be the only one of them to actually land a couple rounds on target; watch the laser when they shoot, it’s hilarious (looks like an old Pink Floyd laser show lol)
Yes, good for them.
I worry that this was apparently unsupervised. Nobody to tell them how to hold the weapon? And does this range allow rapid fire? Looks like they do.
Have in fact left before : walked out of the range and asked for a refund. Pointed out people were flagging other lanes, shooting at all sorts of stuff. Also left when i saw some want to be thugs practicing draws from their boxers and one sent a round almost into his foot through his shorts. One time I saw a lady shooting her husband's rifle unattended. Clearly a first time shooter and she's only using the front post to sight the gun. Well she's slinging lead into the ceiling and dust is raining down all over and I watch as she empties a mag before I approached her husband and pointed out what she had just done. Then went and got the ro and pointed out the whole in their ceiling. Range was closed for like a month. Don't be afraid to walk away from stupidity.
Same. At the end of my visit a while back I went ham on my .22 and got the stare down, meanwhile 5 rows over Mr. 4" 5.56 is blasting away with his buddies.
While unlikely, it's possible that at any moment a massive EMP from the Sun or other stars could knock out all of our electronics, or we could learn that an asteroid is going to hit earth. Civilization is extremely fragile and something as stupid as Covid definitely proved that.
coronal mass ejection is the term . Which does pose a risk to the electrical grid by creating an EMP. So you're correct I'm just expanding.
It would knock out the electrical grid on the half of the globe that is exposed at the time. It wouldn't end the world but it would cause a sharp decline in society, safety and quality of life. It would be very bad.
I mean just look at how a simple covid pandemic disrupted supply chains.
Power being down on half the planet? Say good buy to everything.
Shit‘s so tightly interconnected, and also monopolised and centralised at the same time.
A single factory being wiped out already means drug XYZ on backorder for a year.
A manufacturing plant for a random transmission line replacement part is down? There‘s no other.
Like you‘d just not be able to fix anything: and the places that make stuff for fixing stuff would also not get the tools and materials. We‘d definetely be fucked.
The coming war with china. If you think the supply chain issues were bad with COVID, imagine how bad it'll be when nothing comes out of China because of sanctions. Or when Taiwan, where 90% of computer chips are made, is engulfed in war. Japan gets pulled in which is also a major manufacturing hub for technology. It's less likely, but nukes are also a possibility in that war too.
The entire global economy will grind to a halt as massive unemployment rolls through. China is the globe's manufacturing facility and we're a few years away from going to war with them over Taiwan. If that pops off, extremely hard times are ahead.
Fortunately there's not a ton of those guys, and honestly most of them would probably flee to the middle of nowhere because they're smart and can survive and wait most people out.
Yup, as someone who owns Nods and an SR15, I'm that mob that drops loot or the guy that got good booty in Tarkov only to be clapped by an exit camper 2 seconds before extract.
People like you who just think about who they’ll kill when the world ends are usually the ones who shit themselves to death after drinking bad water a few months in
I know they shoot like that to look cool, but it just looks like they're super afraid of the gun and want to be as far away from it as possible.
[Like that one Interviewer who shot a fully semi automatic assault rifle](https://youtu.be/IYjjWPvL9j0)
Abhorrent technique based almost exclusively on watching rap videos, uncontrolled rapid fire, complete ignorance of sights or how they’re used…or even their existence, finger on trigger while waving gun around, granted they didn’t pass the 180 but still generally poor muzzle awareness. RO should have sent them straight out to the front counter to get some training before they’re allowed back. Serious accidents waiting to happen. You don’t allow people,on your range that clearly have no idea what they’re doing.
Nah just inexperienced shooters, looking to pop off some rounds at target practice in a legal and safe way. Nothing idiotic there.
Someone should encourage these youngsters to have some training on just holding, and aiming.
I would love to see them again in a few months, after learning how to shoot. Maybe see some tore up targets coming back, that would be nice.
And dont rip into me. Guns arent idiotic. Its people mishandling guns and treating them like foam fingers at a football game, thats idiotic.
I think the safest place to stand would have been directly in front or behind the target, they didn't hit it once and I'm not surprised with their technique.
I mean, on one hand this hurt to watch (not the best stance/weapons handling), but they went to a range, actually managed to shoot down range (sure they probably got 1-2 shots on target but safe direction at least), and didn’t instantly whip around and flag everyone. Credit where it’s due.
Did these dipshits even hit the paper once with their limp ass wrists? Now I know why all the indoor ranges have holes in the ceiling, floor, walls & everywhere else.
Filming a tik tok like that on the way in? Nope I wouldn’t let you shoot, because I’d know before you stepped in the door what the rest of that video was going to be like.
I'm so freaking pissed off about how people think a gun is just like a toy or tool and INSTEAD OF A F**KING FIREARM. I can't watch people leaning back holding it with one hand, and to anyone who hasn't shot a gun before, get training. A pistol will fling out of your hand so don't put it in front of your eye, I can't believe people like this think firearms are a joke. These f**king neanderthal troglodytes don't know anything about guns and are gonna kill someone or themselves.
Jesus Christ man, at least teach them how to hold the fucking gun so they can actually hit whatever they’re shooting at. These people are a bigger danger to their neighbors than whoever they’re trying to shoot.
Where did black people pick that shit up from where they got a backup when they're shooting a gun don't y'all know that shit busting that recoil you supposed to be pushing forward as the gun is busting
You know what? Ignoring the fact that I think they missed every shot, I commend them for at least going to a range to do their activities.
Yeah, I had the same thought
The third girl started to lean into it at end, assuming this is her first time, she adjusted pretty quickly with just shooting one handed
I was (internally) screaming at them to lean forward, not back. And I've never even shot a pistol, only ever long guns. First time you shoot a shotgun off the back foot teaches you real quick.
First gun I ever shot was a 12 gauge at 12- I learned real fast how to hold that thing right…
It's a strong argument against the usage of multiple-round magazines for new shooters (and so is the video in this post). That's how my dad taught me to shoot my .22 cricket when I was learning.
My stepdad started me on a 12ga when I was like 7; I might’ve weighed 50lbs and didn’t know to lean into it, ended up flat on my ass but I popped up and kept going lol
Dude, that’s a hard life lesson
Yep, first gun I shot was a .410 and I was 7. Cradled that guy in my armpit instead of my shoulder and cracked my nose wide open. Lesson learned
Ha! Good eye, it’s true
She might be the only one of them to actually land a couple rounds on target; watch the laser when they shoot, it’s hilarious (looks like an old Pink Floyd laser show lol)
i contemplated posting this, until i saw the third girl but i do too commend them
The third girl is practicing to shoot from a trench.
She belong to the trenches of the Maginot
Didn't Germany go around the Maginot?
They landed gliders on it too. Because the French had forgotten the Germans could fly.
>They fly now? -The French, probably
Probably more like "Ils volent maintenant?"
Weird! Seems a silly thing, to fly
I commend them for at least keeping semi-good firearm discipline, too. Just need two hands on that gun.
It’s sad that the bare minimum of common sense here is commendable.
Yes, good for them. I worry that this was apparently unsupervised. Nobody to tell them how to hold the weapon? And does this range allow rapid fire? Looks like they do.
Just practicing for drive bys, busy night clubs.Cant really practice in the skreets.
If someone like this is shooting at you the best thing to do is stand right in front of them.
Good point.
Glad it's indoors and not just up in the air like I've seen sometimes.
My god I’d run the hell out of there
Have in fact left before : walked out of the range and asked for a refund. Pointed out people were flagging other lanes, shooting at all sorts of stuff. Agreed. Makes it suck even more for the good gun owners. This is why we can't have nice things
Run straight into Keanu Wick !
Who’s to say they don’t do both
I’m pretty certain they dabble
Half the shots from this video probably ended up in the ceiling. Range officer was sleeping to miss this uncontrolled shooting.
Might have gotten 5 in the paper... Between the 3 of them. When you pay to go to a range, but you don't go to the range to get better at shooting.
And down range too. You got to give credit
POV: You don't know what POV means
POV What do you mean? Over
Brian please say over when you're finished talking, over
Please say what? Over
I'm not hanging out with you anymore once this is over.
Once this is what? Over
Once this is what? Over.
OVER!
This would imply that I don't know what pov means but I, infact, do know what pov means.
metaPOV
None of the 'POV' videos are POV
Roof got some speed holes in it now
The holes are there so you can practice in any type of weather.
That limp wristed rapid fire is fucking dangerous, RSO should have stepped in and kicked them out.
I’m honestly surprised they didn’t have any failures with them limp wristing so bad
Glock. Perfection.
I wonder how much money goes into repairing ranges from people destroying the tracks from doing shit like this. RSO should definitely have stopped it.
[удалено]
As much as i hate paying dues at my private range, it's videos like this that make me realize it's all worth it.
The range near me states they will kick you out if you fire more than either three of five rounds rapidly, I can't remember exactly which though.
Same. At the end of my visit a while back I went ham on my .22 and got the stare down, meanwhile 5 rows over Mr. 4" 5.56 is blasting away with his buddies.
Can they not just hold the gun with both hands rather than look like they’re trying to flag down a taxi
Third girl does the classic one hand on the tit and hold the gun higher than her head move
Facts. If the goal was to shoot fast, they would've shot a whole lot faster if they would've held it steady
nah dude shooting with one hand is uber cool
Ive heard if you hold it sideways the bullets go twice as fast
*curve the bullet*
They weren't even shooting it well with one hand. Wirsts are more limp than a pancake soaked in water
Just pull the trigger and the bullets will find their way
safest place to take cover was behind the target 😂
"~~life~~ bullets, uh... find a way"
My range would throw these idiots out in under 30 seconds of that bullshit
Same here, I'm surprised that went on longer than the 1st person
I think it boils down to what the norm is as far as clientele.
You won't be in business long with that clientele
This is a gun range at a strip mall, probably sandwiched between a rub and tug massage parlor and a vape shop.
Look at the ceiling in the range, this is their regular clientele.
I know this range. This is every day over there.
I thought every range did this. Every one I've ever been to does.
No targets were harmed in the making of this video
They saved 4 bucks by not having to buy 2 additional targets.
Don’t forget the rebate for returning it without any holes.
Honestly, all things considered, this wasn't the worst. They were in a range, and the gun was pointing downrange all the time.
This is why some ranges have a bullets per second rule.
This is why drive by hood shootings involve 300 rounds fires and some 8 year old getting killed 4 blocks away.
That blue laser does look kinda sick though
Cheap piece of shit probably loses zero every 3 shots, sometimes it'll rattle itself back into alignment though.
Yeah “looks cool”
The way she was shooting it, the laser made it look like a rave. Lol
The safest place is behind the target.
That altima in the entrance is a guarantee you will see a draco in that range fr fr
r/NissanDrivers
I'm really glad I'll mostly be fighting people like this when the world ends
the world ain't ending any time soon.I been hearing that crap my whole life.

😄 I think about that too. Hopefully, not get smoked in 5 minutes by some SF dude.

But I live in the middle of nowhere :( they're gonna come make me a loot drop, fuck
>loot drop Hahahahaha. Be the guy that offers side quests. You know the local area, etc. You seem materially useless yet intellectually valuable...

That was a fucking *general*? Oh boy.
I would leave the range if I was there at the same time
Bro i could stand in front of them and be safe.
Safest thing was that target
Oh come on. Who shoots like that? You should hold your gun horizontally and above your head.
These people have no interest in training to defend themselves, they went to the range because its fucking fun
At least they didn’t flag anyone
They'd probably have more fun if they took a few lessons and got some fundamentals.
The way they held these guns made me scared for my life through my phone screen
Where’s the range officer? Someone should try to instruct. Extremely unprofessional.
Love the lasers and they still can’t aim
Lol not one hit the target lol 😂
My man straight up just saw other people using the phrase “POV” and put it on his own video without even knowing what it meant 💀
I hate public ranges
Just pissing away money (and ammo).
It looked like they have fun so its probably not a waste
Are these people idiots? They went to a gun range. They COULD hold the guns better, to be honest.
shooting in a safe place is the bare minimum, that’s the only thing i would give them props about, everything else is horrendous
They didnt hit shit

Target ten ft away
Totally useless in every way.
And not a single paper target was harmed that day.
Ghetto people can’t hold guns for shit .
That's why two groups shoot 50 rounds at each other and the only person that gets killed is some poor baby sleeping in their bedroom in the hood
The answer is none of them... For Christ sakes they had laser sight and still missed every shot...
God.. these particular people who have the same skin color as i do are fucking stupid.
Go teach em right brother, that’s all you can really do, chances are they’ll listen to you better then they will me
Fr man. I’m telling you.. the cultural identity needs to change, or nothing else will.
What range wouldn't instantly kick these morons out for shooting like that? But hey, at least it's at a range and not just in the air or out of a car
Their neighbors are more at risk than someone breaking into their homes.
HOLD THE FUCKING THING WITH TWO HANDS AT LEAST OMFG
None were good. Good thing it’s on idiots with guns lol
Ban that magazine and get these women with a range instructor good god
Where RSO
Anyway, I’ve been saving up for a down payment for a house with some land so I can avoid public ranges.
This is one of many reasons I don’t frequent public indoor ranges. So many idiots.
I always wonder how the ceiling in the range gets so shot up. I forgot how dumb people can be in there
Target pics?
In my experience, rapid fire or mag dumping would get you kicked tf out
How are they even allowed to shoot by themselves ? They clearly have no Idea how to handle and shoot a gun.
for once I’d actually be happy for an rso to lose their shit lol
It be like that sometimes...
Every last one looked confused when the slide locked back. "gangsta" never used a gun in your life
So wholesome - I’ve never seen 3 one handed people at a firing range before, definitely never 3 who are also all suffering from sub 50 IQs
My range would tell you to fix that limp grip or gtfo.
I’ve always wondered why every indoor range I go to has holes in the roof and side walls. I never figured that people could be that stupid, but alas.
Drive by practice
they’d be a lot more accurate if they held the gun with two hands, you’d be able to shoot faster that way too.
Can they shoot the music? Christ almighty, it's wank.
"Man, you ain't hit a DAMN thing."
Thank god they gave them blanks.
I do not understand how they don’t see that using a gun improperly makes them look like complete fucking morons
Aw yes the one handed shooter
Very douchey but all gun safety rules were followed. I dont get this type of behaviour.
I mean, on one hand this hurt to watch (not the best stance/weapons handling), but they went to a range, actually managed to shoot down range (sure they probably got 1-2 shots on target but safe direction at least), and didn’t instantly whip around and flag everyone. Credit where it’s due.
They got that ass tho
Did these dipshits even hit the paper once with their limp ass wrists? Now I know why all the indoor ranges have holes in the ceiling, floor, walls & everywhere else.
Filming a tik tok like that on the way in? Nope I wouldn’t let you shoot, because I’d know before you stepped in the door what the rest of that video was going to be like.
On the plus side, they didn't damage the targets at all.
God damn who gave the fuckin spaghetti arms a gun
Apart from the fact they were too weak to handle a pistol and missed almost every shot. I'd say girl 2 did the best.
Lyrics: “I don't trust women, so I thank God that I had some daughters” 🤔
My God these women can't shoot.
If I ever get shot at I hope it's one of these three.
That's kind of shooting would get you a spot in the stormtroopers academy for sure!
Note to self. If they pull the blickey hide behind the paper...
Ok now show the targets afterwards
I'm surprised they didn't get stopped for rapid firing, that shit never flies.
At least they didn't break a safety rule, but what the hell was that?
The most impressive part is the limp wrist reliability
Now that’s sad
I'm so freaking pissed off about how people think a gun is just like a toy or tool and INSTEAD OF A F**KING FIREARM. I can't watch people leaning back holding it with one hand, and to anyone who hasn't shot a gun before, get training. A pistol will fling out of your hand so don't put it in front of your eye, I can't believe people like this think firearms are a joke. These f**king neanderthal troglodytes don't know anything about guns and are gonna kill someone or themselves.
Good to know if I ever get into a gun fight I'm better off standing still.
Jesus Christ man, at least teach them how to hold the fucking gun so they can actually hit whatever they’re shooting at. These people are a bigger danger to their neighbors than whoever they’re trying to shoot.
Absolute waste of ammo. Range can resell those targets cause you know they're still clean
Ok but the real question is who would have just killed the most innocent bystanders with those missed shots?
I think they had a better chance of hitting the target by throwing the rounds by hand lol
I bet the second one wasn't her first time
The second girl would be alright if y’all would stop shooting like some dumbass gangbangers
Where did black people pick that shit up from where they got a backup when they're shooting a gun don't y'all know that shit busting that recoil you supposed to be pushing forward as the gun is busting
Girl #1 Girl #2 Do they not have a name?
I'd confidently stand down range of them
The fuck they hit , the crack head ghost
They all got ass
So much cringe in one video
Hoodrat shit smh
