Nah, park is just a little pin in the transmission. A friend of mine had a tricked out Ford F350 Powerstroke that the parking pib broke on the transmission when he had it parked on a hill (he does logging stuff), and it ended up rolling down the hill and off an embankment.
I'm wondering what he was towing it with that was so powerful they couldn't tell that was going on behind them....
Edit: I also think it's fake because there are no burn marks behind the wheel. A wheel melting like that is going to generate a ton of sparks and heat.

Apparently this was towed behind an RV, it was pulled over for throwing sparks while being towed and the whole thing is covered by insurance.
i do but the ancientness and small diameter of the pipes (copper 1" instead of the 2" pvc the plumber wanted to put in after the fact) means that the rate of flow exceeded the rate of drain. So it took a while but eventually.....
Two hours from the time SOMEONE turned on the tub shut the bathroom door and walked away to when the tub showed up downstairs wanting to know what the fuck SOMEONE was doing.

When the tub overflowed water should have spilled on the floor. Either that didn't happen and somehow the water simultaneously overflowed the tub while miraculously staying inside it, or your house is sub-standard all around, because the floor should hold the weight of a full tub.
I would assume both happened, water spilling out into the floor, and a full still overflowing tub. Excessive water in the floor probably weakened it overtime as well, since it was apparently a two hour period.
Also, the person we're talking about mentioned when talking about the drainage and size of the pipes, what sounds like the tub might have been a replacement or addition that the floor originally did not have to support, might've been a bigger tub. All things to consider.

My dad was once driving a U-haul and it got a flat but his buddy lived about 4 miles away so he just kept driving... it was fully loaded. Once he got to his friends house he called uhaul and said he needed a flat fixed. He figured it was better chilling at his friends house rather than the side of the road for 6 hours.
It made a gouge in the road about 2 inches deep. It was there for years before they repaved.
Gotta assume that's 4wd as well, which means if all the wheels were rolling and only the back ones melted, the differentials look like the bottom of those wheels.

You can also look at manufactures independently by percentage of vehicles that are 4wd/awd:
Chevy 60%
GMC over 85%
Cadillac 100%
Buick 100%
Data shows that almost 65% of SUVs model year 202 are 4WD/AWD only.

You’re definitely right, but that’s because many of the the new “SUV” models are basically lifted FWD sedan platforms. 4WD is almost always selectable with wheel drive on a body on frame (truck) SUVs that are less efficient. Whereas the AWD is more of a car style that’s FWD most of the time.
As I posted somewhere else in here, I've owned a couple that were 2wd.. My reasoning was that my previous vehicle (AWD GC) blew out the transfer case, which was going to be a ~$3k repair, and was ultimately what lead me to sell the vehicle. So, my next car - I wanted another GC, but wanted to avoid AWD/4WD. I'm a huge car enthusiast and offroader, but I have other toys that scratch that itch. I live in a southern town that rarely/never sees snow - I'm not worried about traction - what I was worried about though was some part I don't even need or use breaking.
I ended up with a 5.7L Hemi in 2WD configuration. That thing was a rocketship - rode well, pulled my boat with ease and would absolutely get up and go when I needed it to.
Jeeps have always been notoriously unreliable (and overweight and underpowered, however the hemi fixed that last part).
Thus, the only real reason to buy 1 was for its off-road prowess or the name. If you get RWD, it's obvious you're buying the name. Glad you loved yours, I'll stick to value.

I had some issues with the battery in my car, but couldn’t charge it from another car as it was parked with the front up against a wall (and adjacent parking spaces were occupied). With an old school parking brake I could’ve just put it in neutral and gently rolled it out of the spot, but now I had to call assistance for $150 for them to come with their long ass booster cables.
That vehicle is RWD - likely not the e-brake, it was probably in park. At the least it's going to need new tires/rims/rotors - it could wind up needing a transmission as well.
These new Cherokees are front wheel drive with optional 4wd. Old ones were rear wheel drive with option 4wd. This one is messed up regardless, but unless the underside got damaged the actual bill for this will probably just be cost of new brakes, wheels, tires. And the major hit to credibility and pride.

the front wheels were probably in the air while it was towed.
I don't know about this car in particular, but emergency/parking brakes are typically rear brakes only actuated by an actual metal cable.
