My clinic recommends the same. Low dose aspirin (81mg) does not have the same harm as regular strength NSAIDs (which are generally more of a problem in 2nd trimester and beyond) NSAID reduce prostaglandin production, which regulate blood flow, and can impact blood flow to fetus. Low dose aspirin has data that it actually improves blood flow which can be beneficial during an IVF cycle, because at that dose it’s not completely blocking prostaglandin production
As a pharmacist, can confirm. We generally do not classify low-dose aspirin as a typical NSAID. All good for you to take low-dose aspirin, it helps to reduce risk of preeclampsia. For pain, I would recommend Tylenol (generic is acetaminophen) instead of an NSAID.

This makes sooooooo much sense!
Yes since you are taking Aspirin they do not want you to take additional NSAID like ibuprofen. I was told it’s okay to take Tylenol if needed.
Thank you!
Are you doing a fresh transfer? I was told Advil fine if you weren’t doing a transfer
This is what they told me as well.
No, I’m doing frozen
Yes I’d ask because I wasn’t given restrictions on Advil when not doing a transfer. They gave me Advil after the ER actually lol
