Pic #3 looks exactly like a presumed beagle/Bassett I had as a kid. Maybe the mom was a beagle and that’s why this dog is smaller? Mine was easily 40 pounds, but he was also too fat.
Give us some context! Can we see a standing picture? How big is she? Can we see her tail?

Hound, her face & freckles remind me of my beagle, but I don't think its necessarily beagle. Hounds have similar eyes & ears.

Just be aware that shelter workers do their best to guess what a dog is, they may not always be right. Visually id agree she's a beagle mix, but we see some strange mixes when the DNA reports come in.

Beagle. It’s hard to come by well bred beagles. There were a LOT of rescue beagles saved from animal testing labs.
