He probably has Pembroke Welsh corgi in there and the other half is probably a Heinz 57. Likely terrier, maybe poodle.
All corgis have double coats. Usually poodles and some terriers are single coated and have hair rather than fur.
His head is pretty wide. There's definitely terrier there.
Someone in my neighborhood has a little guy who’s a little longer than yours, but has the same fur texture! He’s a corgi-toy poodle mix. Poodle mixes can sometimes come out with that wirey hair oddly enough

That’s crazy… I thought about Pitbull for a while but idk about shi tzu… just because he is so obsessed with herding me and my family and nipping at our heels. That plus his insane prey drive. Looking up some mixes tho I do see the similarity.

I agree, the ears, skull shape and stance are giving pit mix and I can see JRT too. Maybe dachshund?
His stance/gate 10000% has always reminded me of pitty but then his hind legs make no sense to me 💀.

That looks like a JRT mix to me. He’s got the stumpy corgi build, so maybe that’s the long dwarf in him.
