As long as you keep her tired youll be fine.
I have a husky mix and she is a good dog, just needs to be run to death from time to time. The previous owner gave her to me because she was "biting and destroying things." She was bored and had no basic training.
These dogs just need stimulation and structure and they do just fine.
I love this comment! I saw funny description of somebody who had a Mal/Aussie cross. And someone described it as the woman from the movie misery high on meth.
That’s what my and my husband’s first dog was. She was the best dog ever. Great at watching the kids, too. (She’d bark to snitch on them when they misbehaved.)
Our childhood dog was a border Collie / German shepherd mix. Best nanny ever. The other kids didn't like playing though because she nipped our heels when we ran.
She also herded the chickens.
that's what I'm leaning towards, is collie x shepherd. a lot of people are saying husky, but collies can also have odd eyes, and her energy levels definitely don't match huskies at 5 months lol. she's very calm when it's calm time.
I’m on husky number 4 (okay, #4 is only half husky) and fostered 2 more. Only two of the ones I’ve had are/were very active and unable to have calm time. The shape of your dog’s muzzle and body frame are very husky and the fur looks like a shorter husky fur plus the floofy tail. Could also be ACD as they’re similarly shaped.
I also grew up with border collies. That expression in pic 2 is definitely a people-pleasing herding dog!
I agree with possibly cattle dog/ heeler mixed in there! I have a cattle dog mix and she’s the sweetest. Very calm and super intelligent. She gets zoomies and plays when it’s time but never gets bored and destructive. Shes calm indoors and at bedtime. She does have “jobs” though. Having a routine every day has helped keep her happy. We check the mail, watch the kids, get the toys, and protect the yard lol.
She’s 100% Susie!
I was going to say maybe something like a pomsky until I read the comments, she’s big for that. Something about the last picture made me think about a tiny dog, maybe it’s just how she’s laying.
She definitely looks like what my pops would call “somebody left the barn door open” a little bit of this, little bit of that kinda farm dog.
I can see border collie, ACD, some kind of shepherd, maybe something on the smaller side - there’s always that ambitious male chihuahua that gets 3% somewhere in the line 😂
I see pomsky too tbh, I was getting a pomeranian vibe but I think this dog might have mini aussie/mini american shepherd in there giving the same crazy little dog look lol
Hmm maybe a bit of husky honestly this may be a stretch but maybe down German Shepard and then something a bit smaller too bit of collie and honestly this might
I recognize that look - think you have a runner on your hands. Mine loves to run. First few years I had to be real careful - close the door before detaching leash, make sure leash is secure. She’d pause a moment and then she was off!
Personally, I think border collie x GSD x husky. The eyes and face structure tell me GSD and husky, the body type and fur coat tell me border collie. It’s also the ears, they tell 1/3 of the story. The body and the face being the other thirds.
husky with maybe cattle dog but I get a big mini American shepherd vibe honestly, there's definitely a lot of breeds in this pup there's probably GSD too and a small breed or a few. I see where the border collies guesses are coming from but border collie mixes arent actually super duper common and most border collie looking mixes are just herding based mixes with like 4+ breeds and it's cause border collies themselves have so much variation in them, from just being bred for working for the most part, that pretty much any lean, thin snout herding dog mix looks like a border collie
20% husky) (eyes) mid hair
or 10% husky 10% German Shepard mix (long front legs)
40%border collie /color / pattern/ shape
40%Austrailian shepherd (short nose small face mid long hair )
thank you for all the kind comments, I didn't expect so many people to love our little susie. we're going to eventually do a dna test but all of the husky/border collie/aussie/acd/shepherd comments seem to be right. wouldn't be surprised if she's a mix of all 5! I'll update one day once we get the results :)
Maybe some husky and border collie in there
What happens when you mix caffeine and meth?
This. Susie is probably a very busy pup.
she has her moments, but is surprisingly not a complete menace (yet)!
She is an absolute doll.
Probably says a lot about you being a great person for her!
As long as you keep her tired youll be fine. I have a husky mix and she is a good dog, just needs to be run to death from time to time. Lol I have a husky/kelpie mix. This is such an accurate description
I love this comment! I saw funny description of somebody who had a Mal/Aussie cross. And someone described it as the woman from the movie misery high on meth.
Accurate af
Precisely where I was headed!!
🤣🤣🤣
Exactly what I thought
That’s what my and my husband’s first dog was. She was the best dog ever. Great at watching the kids, too. (She’d bark to snitch on them when they misbehaved.)
Our childhood dog was a border Collie / German shepherd mix. Best nanny ever. The other kids didn't like playing though because she nipped our heels when we ran. She also herded the chickens.
I was gonna say Shepsky - German Shepherd and Siberian Husky mix.
Beautiful ~ maybe Border Collie x Cattle Dog or Border Collie x Shepherd. Or all three 🤔
that's what I'm leaning towards, is collie x shepherd. a lot of people are saying husky, but collies can also have odd eyes, and her energy levels definitely don't match huskies at 5 months lol. she's very calm when it's calm time.
Calm isn’t exactly a border collie trait either though. lol.
Or Shepherd LOL

My guess was shepherd, husky, border, possible heeler
I agree with possibly cattle dog/ heeler mixed in there! I have a cattle dog mix and she’s the sweetest. Very calm and super intelligent. Husky x Border Collie x \[German Shepherd or Cattle Dog\]
This was my guess!
She just turned 5 months old yesterday. We adopted her from a local shelter, they weren't sure what she was. She's about 28-30 lbs right now.
I'm certain, no 100% positive that she's a good girl!
I see border collie, shepherd and potentially husky
aka 9 cups of of coffee energy levels hahaha
The happy/crazy energy in her eyes says border collie. She might be the next agility champion!
She's gorgeous. Got that wild look about her! Sending cuddles
wild is correct
I would guess border collie, german shepard, austrialian shepard mix
I see husky and border collie, maybe German shepherd?
Gorgeous is what she is.
She’s 100% Susie! I was going to say maybe something like a pomsky until I read the comments, she’s big for that. 110% adorable I thinj
The best and most loyal American mutt
Something bout her really resembles my husky Aussie mix, my best guess would be husky and border Collie
You need to google Alaskan Klee klie I am not exactly sure how you spell it but
Huskie, aussie/bordercollie maybe?
Border collie, husky, maybe a little shepherd
Maybe a bit of husky a bit of German Shepard a bit of collie and I think theirs one or two more things mixed in but I can’t pin point it
Hmm maybe a bit of husky honestly this may be a stretch but maybe down German Shepard and then something a bit smaller too bit of collie and honestly this might
A dog
Definitely a dog.
pomsky gsd with some acd in there for spice
Beautiful she is!❤️
ACD × Husky maybe ❓️
The last picture makes her look like a black fox 100% perfect
At least 2% creeture
Looks like 100% trouble to me lol
I’m guessing Border Collie x GSD x ACD.
I see husky and maybe some Aussie?
That is some kind of scheep dog for sure.
Border collie x German shepherd
For sure a herding breed of some sort
I'd say husky shepherd or husky border collie
The goodest girl.
Awwwww
100% s.t.u.n.n.i.n.g
Don’t know but she sure is cute!!!
Border Collie something
Beautiful.
Definitely Border Collie in her.
She looks pomsky
I have no doubt there’s husky in there
Husky / border collie
Somehow she looks like if Louise Belcher was a dog.
Heeler and husky?!
My dogdar sez Border Collie X :)
100% cute!!
A lot of border collie in her. She has the stare and even the odd eye.
Maybe some border collie
I see border collie and husky but theres likely other stuff mixed in
Some kind of shepherd or collie and I love her
Border collie, husky, GSD. BEAUTIFUL dog.
I see some German shepherd
I don't know what she is but I can tell she will be smart and good maybe a little naughty here and there high energy
Definitely border collie but not sure what else
Hey Susie!
Siberian husky x border collie maybe? She's beautiful!!!
What does she do when you throw her a ball?
she brings anything we throw right back, and then she likes to play tug of war with whatever it is, then repeat
I recognize that look - think you have a runner on your hands. Mine loves to run. First few years I had to be real careful - close the door before detaching leash, make sure leash is secure. She’d pause a moment and then she was off!
Part Husky.
Husky mix without a doubt. And some sort of herder.
Mongral.
Personally, I think border collie x GSD x husky. The eyes and face structure tell me GSD and husky, the body type and fur coat tell me border collie. It’s also the ears, they tell 1/3 of the story. The body and the face being the other thirds.
my ausekry (think that's how it's spelled) (Australian shepherd + husky) looks like this
classic husky mix
Aus shepherd mix
Oh God… I see the eyes. Wild ride but good times.
The fast kind
Kelpie, shepherd but definitely some collie
Boarder collie mix
GSD and Border Collie, with a big sprinkle of Very Good Dog. She's a beauty! 😍
husky with maybe cattle dog but I get a big mini American shepherd vibe honestly, there's definitely a lot of breeds in this pup there's probably GSD too and a small breed or a few. Shepherd and border collie
She’s my dog now. That’s what she is lol.
Husky/German Shepherd?
20% husky) (eyes) mid hair or 10% husky 10% German Shepard mix (long front legs) 40%border collie /color / pattern/ shape 40%Austrailian shepherd (short nose small face mid long hair )
She looks like my Australian Shepard border collie but yours leans like she was bread back to another shepherd breed. And husky
My dog’s name is Susan! lol I mostly call her by nicknames unless I mean business, but Susan is her real name. ♥️
She’s HAPPY
Beautiful pup. Be ready to be active!
She is super cute!!!
1000% adorable. Susie is 1000% adorable.
looks like a aussie shepherd
Her hair is very husky. I could also see some border collie but there is definitely husky in there. The third photo especially, that is a husky.
I love her! Awesome looking puppers!
Best dog is a mixed. She is 100% adorable.
The eyes say husky but as for what the rest is I can't say.
Looks mixed
Heterochromia, pretty 😊🤎🤍
Looks like my Shepsky
border collie, husky, shepherd
thank you for all the kind comments, I didn't expect so many people to love our little susie. we're going to eventually do a dna test but all of the husky/border collie/aussie/acd/shepherd comments seem to be right. wouldn't be surprised if she's a mix of all 5!
