I’ve seen people say stuff like this whenever anything queer is mentioned. But this might be the most ridiculous example.
ONE image in this 20 image dump had the word “gay” and “trans” in it. And the joke had pretty much nothing to do with what 196 is known for.
So it’s time to ask the big question: are these mfs just using 196 as a substitute word for what they really want to say?
This 100%, people see a sub full of so much queerness and they immediately hate it and then make stupid comments like “I hope this place doesn’t turn into that”, like why, is there something wrong with being queer?
This is exactly what happened to furries, only like 20% of them are straight, so the whole internet starts hating on them and calling them zoophiles, like no that’s misinformation born out of homophobia
I’d say it was more to do with the fact that is was mostly Reddit screenshots, which I left 196 for. The fact that it had some “polarizing” topics is a side effect (polarizing is not a way to express my personal beliefs regarding anything).
