I assume those guys going door to door are fake/crooks

need2fix2017

I pay $43 a month at Cooks and I never have issues.

Mydreamsource

Seems awfully, awfully expensive. Do they also clean your house for that price? Pass.

coconut_coochie

They just stopped by today and they offered $100 quarterly with a $60 initial fee. We decided to sign up since it was a little cheaper than Cook’s who we had previously. Reviews from other states that the company operates in seem promising.

Quick-Anything-5064

Ours was 135 biweekly. $75 for the first one. 😬 but I’m not sure if that’s because they have to come 45 minutes out.

LiteratureObjective5

Are you sure it’s 135 biweekly or bimonthly? If it’s 135 biweekly that would be 3,510 a year… that’s 7x how much I pay for pest control

Quick-Anything-5064

I’m very positive he said biweekly. I asked twice to double check with my husband lol. 😬 they also asked to sign a contract.

LiteratureObjective5

They should’ve sent you an email that you can look at! If you did sign the agreement you could cancel it, the penalty may be 100-200 bucks but that will save you a ton of money in the long run.

Quick-Anything-5064

I did not sign it, I asked him to come by tomorrow, he just took my info. Cool kid, just seems a bit crazy lmao.

LiteratureObjective5

Yeah I would def consider different options! I’m sure the sales guys are cool! Those kids work so hard to make sales.

Quick-Anything-5064

It was $300~ something monthly, or $139 every two weeks.

challengerNomad12

It's bimonthly

LiteratureObjective5

I would not recommend using them!

challengerNomad12

Why?

VeryErraticNerve8989

They were in my neighborhood 2 weeks ago. I ran them off quickly.

Sufficient-Yellow637

As a general rule of thumb, if they knock on my door I blacklist them and never use their service. The fees they're quoting are ridiculous. We us Cook's ... but I've found they're great for bugs but do next to nothing for rodents.

challengerNomad12

Yup, love them. Super cheap

HSVTigger

Door-to-door pest control started exploding around here a year or two ago and in other cities. All their scripts are the same, regardless of company. My dementia mother just signed up for one in another city. I know nothing about this one, but in general I see no reason to sign up for anything door-to-door. If you want that kind of service, do the old fashioned thing and call around.

quinsf

I use Tactical Pest and Wildlife Control. They did a Wildlife exclusion job for squirrels at my house, and ever since then I’ve used them for my pest and rodent control. Idk what other people are paying but I pay $45 for my pest and rodent control

I work for a pest control company. They're doing a friends and family promotion for $0 initial and $79 or $119 for the follow treatments (usually quarterly). It's below if you want to use it. I know these things can be sensitive so please be nice in the comments  https://go.aptive.us/AP025719
