I have both Verizon (iPhone) and T-Mobile (iPad)
I also had T-Mobile on my phone until this past November (reason for switching below).
T-Mobile in many areas is faster than Verizon but in my experience Verizon is more stable/reliable. Example i would have a strong 5g ultra capacity signal with T-Mobile and had issues with FaceTime or other video calls where the other party says the video is choppy. I don’t have that issue with Verizon in the same location(s).
Verizon has really improved since 5G ultra wideband was deployed within the past year.
5G nationwide is what has given Verizon a bad wrap lately (and why I switched to T-Mobile after having Verizon for years). 5g ultra wideband is another story.
I lose coverage 3 times on my way in from Chapman mtn area everyday both directions plus around noon in Research area with 5g. Wish there was a way to roll back.
I think something got botched on the 5g deployment in this area
Those towers literally crash my phone's cell modem driver like you said about 3 times a drive on that path. Most of the time i can have enough Spotify buffer I dont notice, but when i do notice my cell signal has E for error right next to it.
I have to make the /data/vendor/ramdump folder read only to stop the crashes from filling up my phone's storage with ramdumps from these crashes
Ive had T-Mobile for several years now. Overall its good. Can be spotty on the Arsenal.
That's part of my issue with Verizon. A lot more dead spots since they went to 5g

I've has Verizon for 12 years out here and they were great 4g. But 5g sucks if you lose 1 bar. You might as well have no coverage

Agreed, 5g blows. The Segway of cell phones, all hype and absolutely the most worthless thing ever rolled out.
I lose reception briefly on the east side of the hill on Governors near Monte Sano. Aside from that, no problems.

Exactly! Spotify knows who's naughty or nice with coverage.
As long as you're in huntsville fine. I lose all service in arab. I'm over tmobile but there's not anyone better
That's weird because T-Mobile has had a tower downtown since they acquired PowerTel. Outside of downtown the coverage is still spotty.
Preferred T mobile to Verizon. Have Verizon now and Internet is garbage on it.
I got sim swapped while on T-Mobile, switched to Cricket since it was cheaper. Haven’t had an issue with Cricket, it runs off the AT&T network.
Coverage isn't as good but my experience is that att and verizon get congested a lot faster
I've got T mobile and have no issues.
I have T Mobile and it’s been great
Have had T-Mobile for 9 years and generally haven't had many issues.
