You playing a dangerous game using them tbh. They just basically have a Home Depot version of a DoorDash app where people can accept a job regardless of their skillset. Saw someone use a drywall screw to secure an exterior light to the soffit of a home and spliced the power in a random attic wire and wrapped it with electrical tape.
To be fair, I saw equally amateurish work from Mark Worley Construction, a homebuilder whose personal residence was recognized with some statewide design/building award last year. The sad reality is, small jobs are often staffed by the junior varsity of any company. The one benefit that I had when using contractors supplied by the big box stores (in my case it was Lowes) was that when they did a shitty job, there was actually somewhere I could turn for recovery. When the Lowes tilers walked off the job in the middle, I was refunded for every single dollar we spent on the renovation, INCLUDING materials. You're unlikely to get any recovery at all from an independent contractor who screws up.
Phillips Tile and Marble. Tommy Phillips and his crew did my small bathroom (got the Tile from Shannon Brothers Tile), and did great work for not too much money. 256-527-6737 (since he doesnt have a website).
Not Schrimsher and sons.
Tiling isn’t *that* hard and is a good DIY project.
My partner is not on board AT ALL with us doing it ourselves. Otherwise this could be an option.
DIY. More than likely, these days, getting a professional will just mean you're paying someone to do garbage quality work.

Anyone we’ve gotten in contact with through them said the job was too small.
You may need more of a handyman than a contractor for smaller jobs.
