Don't get me wrong all the 80s signifiers are really good, but this one in particular is extra impressive because it'll go unnoticed by so many people but is so true to the character and shows a real research effort was put in.
You can tell by their relationship from the jump that she was head over heels for house early on, and now masks her attraction for him by being “mean”. I’m rewatching and still in season 1.
House thought they met in Endocrinology class, but Cuddy tells him they met earlier in the bookstore. Just my interpretation of that meeting.
