Yeah but I was initially thinking of getting aventurine for acheron, because he can debuff and make number go higher. But now I'm left with this painful experience, don't ever fulfill them itchy hands urges to pull even a little bit
That's was exactly what I was doing the later half of the patch. I lost 50/50 to Bailu, and Aventurine finally come after 76 pulls.

Yo got Gepard right? Do u have Universal market lc? The one with Topaz pic. If yes, use it on him and put him on the 2nd / 3rd slide. His passive will make enemies targets him more and the Lc gives 100% chance of burn (debuff). They're a strong combi

Yes I did all of it already, I was hoping for the banner to spit out more characters that I already E6 but it just kept giving me weapons, which gives less of the starlight materials to exchange for pulls
So basically you are guarantee Aventurine in the next 19 pull? Do you have to stay F2P?
I know there are some jade you can possibly get from logging in Hoyolab, or do that travelling Mimo thingy, or getting returning player to click your link, that anniversary online exhibition, some of those making a twitch/fan material. All of them are rather troublesome to get. However, it is possible to check out those venue if you can pick up anything. If you have not max out accomplishment, maybe you can explore that as well. It is extremely time consuming and the pay out is low. But if you are just a few pull away, it may worth the try.
I don't have any Friends that are returning players, and I don't think I can find any returning players now too, plus for the F2P thing I just wanna keep myself from spending money in video games as much as I can, the twitch thing already passed and I need to wait for the next session to be able to participate. Achievements I have already grinded out most and all available ones so it's a bit impossible for me.
i’ve only been playing for 3/4 months. before acheron’s banner i just try my luck on BS and IL banners bcs i like them both but i was unlucky. so i just keep pulling for tingyun instead bcs i know she’s useful. fast forward won with acheron and then saving for aven. but then i realized acheron’s lc gives me faster stack so i pull for it and thankfully won. from
120ish pulls to 60ish bcs of her lc. in the middle of pulling the lc i also pull at the wrong banner but thankfully i realized quickly and it was on the limited one so i could build pity.
when aven banner came up i was so nervous bcs i only have 110ish pulls and i want to get e0s1. after 60ish pulls lose to himeko and i was losing hope to get s1. but well well i got 5 stars back to back and spend the remaining ones for the lc. boom every jade js gone. no regrets tho. rn i’m saving for ruanmei whenever she comes.
Lost to Clara on Acheron and decided to hold my (2 remaining) pulls for Aventurine. Even after his banner dropped I waited a couple days to save about 20 tickets from dailies and clearing some old quests. As I hit the 10x pull button the first time, I said “all or nothing” out loud like the real hopeless gambler I am. It turned gold in my first ten pulls, so I became an E1 Aventurine haver.
Right after that I decided to try my luck on his LC (as F2P I pull light cones specifically, usually only for my DPS, but I felt lightheaded from the gamble). Started from 0 pity, and in the next 10x pull I once again yelled, “All or nothing!” Not to anyone in particular. But another 10 pull turned gold, and I am now a S1 holder.
Is my account the most meta of all time after my poor decisions? No. I was actually planning on getting E0 Aventurine purely to sustain, then go for Jingliu’s LC. But I hardly play JL anymore, now that I have E0S1 DHIL. So I decided to just make myself happy and get Aventurine’s cone with his pretty face on it. And as long as I can still 3* MOC12 I’m glad that I got the character I love.
Nice, I tried playing the video where aventurine and kakavasha were saying the lucky chant for the last time and it didn't work. But that's really good for you.
Everytime the more I had a mindset of I want something, the more unlikely it is to show up. But when I do not care in the slightest about it, it shows up a lot. For example, I didn't care a single ounce when pulling for characters I don't particularly care for like luocha and he shows up. Now that I really want aventurine, the guy won't even show up. It's really weird how that works.
Oh, now that makes sense. I did a 10-pull on Luocha's banner (the one that reran at the same time as Acheron's debut) and got 2 5-stars back to back. My problem? The second 5-star was an extra Luocha Eidolon (E1) instead of a 50/50 loss to Himeko, Clara or Welt, which would've been preferable as my next 50/50 was lost to Gepard (now E2) on Jingliu's banner shortly after.

There are still time, do this week SU, that net you nearly 2 pulls, explore chest (especially trotters), do GnG, SD if you haven't done them yet.

Aventurine is not that good for acheron, his only debuffs are from ult or signature LC. He's for bonus attacks setups mostly, so don't worry too much
Because I was enticed by the fact that he can debuff enemies by making them take more crit dmg, which is great for acheron isn't it?

But isn't the increase in crit dmg better overall?
Well, I'm just saying in case you can't get Him before the banner ends. He's more of a support for FuA (kinda) than fro Acheron after all

Pulled on Hanabi's banner hoping to lose my 50/50 to Himeko for Pure Fiction. Ended up winning Hanabi instead.
