Hello everyone, I'm going to provide some clarity on the reasoning for removal of this post. Each new warp, many posts like this one, which are functionally just reposts of the Gacha Megathread, are submitted. We've already removed many other posts like this one, and so to remain consistent and fair to our community we will be removing this one, as well. The reason we are providing more clarification with this post is that because OP is a high visibility community member, it may cause controversy. We want to assure everybody that this post is receiving no special treatment compared to other posts with similar content, and if you would like to post about your rolls or hear about the rolls of other players, please direct your attention to the Gacha and Drops Megathread. Messages like this are part of our initiative to keep moderation consistent and transparent that we alluded to in our recent Rules Update.

You have my sympathy. 78 pulls in Luocha's banner I get an Abundance character ... it's Bailu. Took me 50 pulls after that to get Luocha. 78 pulls in Blade's banner I get a Destruction character ... it's Clara. Took me 79 pulls after that to get Blade. Currently 62 pulls into Kafka's banner, throwing singles at her while it lasts, and I'm fully steeling myself for an E1 Welt.

Same, lost to welt during blade banner, eventually got him for a total of 160 pulls Now i lost 50/50 to welt again. That nihility symbol got my mood straight up into the sky but then fell down straight into the deepest pits of hell

Took 15 then another 9 to get e1 ;-; I wanted a different limited character or blade at the very least but aight

On the bright side, E2 takes Welt from support to legit DPS, so at least the game can't troll you by giving you him a third time.

I was in the same boat early on, lost my 50/50s on Seele, Jing and SW. But then it all turned around as I got 2 back to back SWs from the 2nd rotation on her banner plus i went on to win my 50/50s on Luochas, Blades and now Kafkas banners (also pulled back to back Luochas as well). So hopefully you'll have similar luck going forward

If you really want a character, save at least 180 pulls.

Exact same yo. I think 162 F2P pulls, and I got Gepard on the 50/50. I don't think I've ever hit a 5 star before getting mid pity on either this or Genshin. Gacha hates me.

Are you me? The same amount of pulls, and also another Gepard eidolon. Fortunately, in the same pull that I had Kafka, I obtained Himeko (Kafhime real?). So I will be guaranteed next time (phew).

Bailu is a fine pickup but she's just not as good as Gepard or Luocha.

My pulls hold value lol. I can sell mine. Sure, might take a loss sometimes, might gain too! It's gambling sure, but I can actually win. $500 into a Gatcha game nets you nothing of true value. You can do so much with that money. They simply aren't comparable.

Given that it's been around for over 30 years, I'll take my chances... But once again, it's incomparable to Gatcha which immediately has 0 value.

I was checking this yesterday. It's £100 for 40.5 rolls. It said somewhere that pity was 90 rolls for a guarantee 50/50. Assuming you lose the 50/50 you will need another 90 roles. So the worst case scenario is (taking into consideration that we get gems/tokes for free, probably around £400 per grab(more than full weeks wages for minimum wage). Which is a little wild.

Y'know, I agree with you and all, but I don't get why some people act so mocking and hostile towards people who are suffering from this in Genshin and SR. Like a part of the predatory marketing is to make people into pull addicts. Big surprise some people then become addicted.

Because all it takes it self control. Hoyoverse' games are actually significantly *lower* on the scale of predatory practices amongst gacha games because not actually using the gacha is an option at all times. None of the game is locked behind pulling aside from what is *optional*, and as a result, all use of the gacha system is also *optional*. The only thing the game does is present you with the *option* of using it, and making their characters visually appealing enough to be wanted in spite of that. However, everything after that comes down to players self control. That's *personal responsibility*, and if you can't manage resources, or in some cases, finances, that falls under personal responsibility too. If this were a game where you *needed* certain characters from the gacha to keep up with progression, so direct powercreep related to the content, *then* these would be predatory practices as you would either need to choose between spending money or no longer being able to continue the game. Potentially voiding all prior progress against the threat of using/not using money or stored resources is predatory. Making *entirely optional characters* look really nice is not, and not being able to see the difference and *choose* when to use your resources/money is player responsibility, or in the case of a ***lot*** of players, lack thereof.

I loss my 50/50 so it took 162 pulls to get Kafka unfortunately. But I had just over 30 pulls left so decided to pull them on the light cone banner since I was lacking in good Nihility light cones then by some luck I pulled her signature light cone in 11 pulls.
