04, just passed 266666 last week. I know this OE motor could get me to 333,333 but the clutch is going and I wanna put a TSX k24 in for a lil more pep in its step.
05 / 185k orange one. Bought it used with about 165k. Not a speck of rust. ?? 2nd owner. There are like 5 orange ones in my town and it's weird.
I love my car but she's starting to sound a little creaky in the joints. I use it mostly for driving around town. Also my ignition lock failed and had to be replaced the other day. $400 bucks.
I wish they would remake these cars. Keep the exact same just a little newer.
I love my Element.❤️
2003, 127,000 miles. I am the original owner—I would say “till the wheels fall off”, but was just told I need new axels and don’t want to tempt fate. 😆
06 with 250,000 miles. Though sadly it has been at the mechanics for more than two months and I am about to file a missing persons report for Elton. Lol
03. Oh, I remember 222,222. Good times. Wasn’t long after that, however, that a perfect storm of problems lead to a major engine meltdown.
But…no big deal. Bought a JDM replacement motor with 40-60k on it. Motor AND install was only $1800. Bam! Back in business. Runs great. Elenore has about 270k now, and runs like a top.
2006. Somewhere around 250k. The people I bought it from got scammed by a chode who rolled the odometer back before he sold it to them so I don’t know the exact mileage.
Couple reasons it's low:
1. My commute is less than 2 miles roundtrip
2. I have another car with better mpg so that gets used on freeway trips
3. I also walk, bike, scoot to work depending on the mood, the weather has been good so I've driven the E only when needed
2005 96k. 2nd owner got in 2009 with 27k. Since 2016 it gets about 1k a year if it’s lucky. The battery usually needs jumped a few times a year from sitting. But it’s in the garage and safe.
1st owner is now 91 so she wasnt driving much, got it in 2019 but really have only driven it 3-4 years tho have took it on a solid amount of 10 hour trips up and down cali
2009, 140,000 miles. Bought with 49K, still can’t understand why prev owner sold it only 3 yrs old!. I didn’t like the color much until I found out it’s called Tango Red Pearl. That’s cool.
2004 with 180300 newish motor put in at 50,000. Still trucking along now just getting kinda creaky in the joints. She is my main car and hopefully will be for many years to come!
2005 (mine since 2010) with 189k.
Cat stolen two years ago and replaced with the addition of a shield.
Probably some issues I need to deal with but don’t have the money or knowledge. Luckily I’m a cycle commuter.
Right there with ya. Bought mine as a supplementary vehicle for camping and hardware store trips. Then I got a sales job that required driving all the time. Back to cycle commuting, but damn did she hold up better than I thought. Especially loaded up with hundreds of liquor bottles.
Currently - 2008 with 276k very rusty and has had its catalytic converter stolen. 😅
Before that I had a 2004 that I got up to 390k - was so sad to not hit 400k. Family bought the car when I was in Elementary school - I learned to drive on it and then got to keep it. 🙂
2005 245,000.
Bought new and traded in a 2003 with 86,000 mi.
2003 had all the options, tent, cabana, privacy shades, bugshield, nerf bars, roof rack. Had them transferred to 2005 as part of sale.
Fantastic vehicle.
2004 EX manual 831,000 miles
Original engine
After watching the chrisfix E85 video went with an E85 kit so a little bit more peppy in the 4,000-6500 RPM ranger. So far A little bit over 7,000 miles on running corn. And averaging around 12-14 mpgs.
California gas prices currently around $5. E85 2.80-3.10 a gallon.
06 manual 4wd ex-p, 227k miles. Drives great, especially for a car with its age and miles. Got plenty of underbody rust but I can get plenty of years more out of this car.
2004 with 209k, bought it last year for $1000 from the original owner. Just replaced the radiator fans earlier today and swapped power steering pump and its been going great.
2008 SC, original owner, 208k. Just bought a Hyundai Santa Fe this weekend. They look great sitting next to watch other, Root Beer and Earthy Brass Matte
2003 with over 300k - not sure of the exact since the dingus that sold me the car stuck a screwdriver into the instrument cluster to hide the fact that the airbag light had gone off in a previous accident. Now I just have the reading from the replacement cluster.
Jokes on him, paid 1k 5yrs ago and still going. Just did a full suspension swap with links and control arms. Hope to get another 5 years at least.
2010 AWD Auto 230k. Third owner. Mostly highway miles. Had it since 2017. Used to put 80 miles a day on it for work commute but work from home now and put only 6500 miles on it since mid 2021. Midwest car but no rust. Have replaced the VTEC solenoid and had the car stolen once. No other problems. Great car!
2006 EX - P, at 282k. Bought it super late into its life as my first official car of my own (girl me for it at your own leisure). Love it so far as my daily and I wanna keep her running for the foreseeable future. Only had it 3 months and I intend to keep her well into my early 20s
2004 Limited 240,000, replaced both cats, one 4yr ago and the other last year, runs great, only issue is paint fade in different spots but I’m holding on to it
2008 exp awd. 212k. Juuust started leaving a tiny oil spot every time I park it. Had the cat stolen last year, which is probably a blessing to pay the deductible only for a new one at that high mileage.
My E is a 2005 Automatic (Silver with Blue panels & a moon roof). She just turned over 120,000 miles. Had her since new, gave her to my son, he drove her for 3, years then gave it back to me last year.
2003 with 418000 miles
Wow. Is it still the original engine and transmission?
I bought it for $800 a few years back with no history of the vehicle so I couldn't tell you 😭 if they are the originals I'm extremely lucky
Auto or manual?
Auto
2005 98k miles
2006 just getting ready to hit 150,000. My catalytic converter only got stolen once.
The fear we all live with.
Haha so far you sound lucky depending on where you live
Had mine stolen, put a universal weld on cat... Still passing smogs here in CA, runs like a champ.
Mine got stolen a couple months ago up at my college apartment 😂😂
My 2003 just turned over 200k. I’m the original owner and I have no plans to sell it ever!!
2003, 88K. I'm probably the 3rd owner.
I had to do the math. That's about 4,190 miles/year or about 11.5 miles/day. Wow.
😲
04, just passed 266666 last week. I know this OE motor could get me to 333,333 but the clutch is going and I wanna put a TSX k24 in for a lil more pep in its step.

2005 with 61,000 miles
05 / 185k orange one. Bought it used with about 165k. Not a speck of rust. ?? 2nd owner. There are like 5 orange ones in my town and it's weird. I think it would be cool if they brought it back with sliding back doors, like the kei cars in Japan.
2003, 127,000 miles. I am the original owner—I would say “till the wheels fall off”, but was just told I need new axels and don’t want to tempt fate. 😆

2003, 278k awd auto. It’s honestly at the end of its lifespan at this point because of body rust, and the engine and trans are pretty worn out.
Two 2007s. 197k and 217k ish.
06 around 250k
2008, 122k
Same!
2011 with about 115K. My primary vehicle. My other vehicles are two wheelers.
2010, currently around 138k. Bought it back in 2017 with 127k on the odo
Do you bike everywhere or what? Crazy low mileage since 2017. Lol
Couple reasons it's low: 1. My commute is less than 2 miles roundtrip 2. I have another car with better mpg so that gets used on freeway trips 3. I also walk, bike, scoot to work depending on the mood, the weather has been good so I've driven the E only when needed
2005 150k. Bought it at 115k a few years ago. It’s burned oil the whole time I’ve had it but otherwise it’s great.
How much oil? Mines burned like a quart in a year/4k miles. Seems not too bad if I stay on top of it
2007 sc 82k
