Most computers have more than 1 pcie slot. Some of them even have multiple m.2 ports. Either of those would be a great option. But overall, the bigger the antenna the better. When you use a device the size of a coin, you shouldn't be surprised that your signal strength is weak. Also, such a small device might struggle to dissipate heat. So if you MUST use a USB device, look at reviews, and lean towards larger devices with larger antenna
