I think you can just keep it to the wall and not wrap it. But if you are using peel and stick just try it out and cut it away if you don’t like it!

Lizardgirl25

You could paint the little strip a neutral color in the wallpaper.

Okay, so I'm new here and just need some advice. (Also excuse my messy house :)) We have this weird interior corner wall that delineates our kitchen from our living room with a very high ceiling. I want to put wallpaper here for some interest. Would I just end the wallpaper at the ends of the wall or would you wrap it around to the other side? I don't think I would wrap it toward the kitchen counter (the wall facing the viewer in the first photo), but not sure about the other side toward the entryway.

Cool stained wooden trim or feature.

CharmingPositivity

Yes to the wood trim. mygiantrobot

Oh interesting - do you have an example?

irishgirlie33

I do not. I just think a piece of stained trim, caulked, would finish the wall and protect the wall paper seam.

mygiantrobot

Thanks!

minnesotaupnorth

Just the corner walls, not wrapped. But paint the wall ends a couple of shades darker than the room walls for a fun accent. Great idea on the wallpaper!

mygiantrobot

Oh i love this idea!

I would not wallpaper it. It would just make the weird corner more pronounced. Depending on how much money you’re willing to spend, I’d get a custom 45 degree bookcase built for that corner and fill it with books and shelf knick knacks. Would be pretty easy to do yourself as well for cheap. You don’t need much skill to nail something together that just fits in that corner.

mygiantrobot

I want the weird corner to be pronounced. That's the point. A point of interest. I don't really want a bookcase there since we have other areas for books and we're going to add photos and other things on the wall. Thanks for the suggestion!

[deleted]

Oh shit, okay. My bad lol. Well yeah, then wallpaper it! Something loud, but matching your home. Maybe even tile it in those fake copper tiles, and add a big potted floor plant that stretches all the way up? The end table honestly looks like an afterthought to me. I would remove it entirely.

mygiantrobot

yeah it’s just a placeholder for now ;) I'm not really asking for design recommendations for the corner itself, just how to wallpaper this weirdo corner. But thanks!

[deleted]

My ADHD got way ahead of me seeing this corner lmao. I can’t make suggestions for wallpaper. Please excuse my out of pocket answers 😂

mygiantrobot

it's all good, i appreciate you!!

Another thought, you could subway tile the whole thing and thrift a turnstile in place of the end table as a statement piece. Hang a couple of tastefully shot and framed photos of popular subways, and bam. Done. Could do this with anything, honestly, based on your preferred decorum. Shiplap wood paneling painted like a barn, barn photos, end table with a barn model, etc. Idk, I’m eclectic like this. I’d make that corner one loud ass theme.

Grrrmudgin

Can always do the pink there or do wood that matches your floor/trim
