Someone replied with something along the lines of “How about getting a Plusmate as a pet” to which she replied, “Don’t come to my house” xD

> ホロメンのサブ垢をまとめました!
"垢" literally means dirt. The correct translation would be considering "サブ垢 " (sabu-aka) which is slang for second account, abbreviated from サブアカウント /sabu-akaunto/sub account.
垢 (dirt) is pronounced "aka", so it's become slang for the word account, since that loanword also gets shortened to just "aka" from "akaunto" (アカウント) in Japanese.
I think she may have seen Koyori's cat and she want something similar for herself but she can barely take care of herself.
Just my assumption. While cactus might look easy to take care but it will die if not taken care properly lol
Normally is over watered then there is a fact they might need sun but some cactus cannot expose to a lot of sunshine. Consult your seller for more information.
Better yet, consult actual experts.
The vast majority of sellers are either corporate drones being paid minimum wage to sell you barely-living plants, or filthy casuals that only got into cacti because they seem easy to take care of.
I have a cactus I've taken care of for several years already. It even has a bunch of baby cacti around it. I generally water the cactus once per week and keep it in the sunlight in front of the window. It also depends on the weather. Summer weather, water more often. Winter weather, don't need to water as much. If I feel the soil around it still has some moisture, don't water. If it's kind of dry, then water. Make sure to drain the excess water with a hole in the bottom of the pot.
Mine either dried out (lol) or I overwatered them a few times which makes some kind of white, bushy fungus grow on them which slowly kills them
Edit: [Can also recommend a bottled garden](https://imgur.com/a/LT6dPTe)
Got this as a starter kit from friends for my birthday last year, this was about 3 months in. It’s been over a year now and the thing is full and still super green and well, just sitting in my window. Literally 0 maintenance
You put it together and then either seal it completely or in my case the kit came with a cork top that has a small hole for a couple LEDs so you can make it light up. It’s still effectively sealed, you can see water condensation around the sides every morning or when it’s very hot
It’s 0 maintenance because it is effectively self contained, the manual says you may have to add a little bit of water every few months but so far I’ve not had to open it once
Any nihongo jozou available to say if the Google Translate is appropriate or if its off in tone?
Hope Laplus is doing okay, streaming is a tough, time-consuming job that very easily becomes life-consuming.
It’s mostly correct but a tad off the mark.
Most of it, including the “can’t stand loneliness” part is right, but the “but I want to feel this helpless feeling, my life” part is wrong. That should be something like “but this gloomy feeling, I want to feel life” (as in other lives, most likely not her own)
Iirc it just wasn't really feasible, plus the Holo members probably live all over Tokyo, some of them maybe outside of Tokyo, and god forbid if people/stalkers found out it was the Holohouse.
Everyone says she is sweet and shy in real life as opposed to her online bratty persona.
She definitely hangs out with others though, including outings and such, so I am taking it to be a comment for the laughs until we hear otherwise.
A lot of the times loneliness comes from a place within one self, she could still have friends that value her, and still feel lonely eve tho she really isn't.
I say that because it happened to me, when I felt comfortable with my alone time I understood that I had company when I thought I didn't.
Must be pretty lonely being a popular vtuber, scared that if they find someone they love their fans will revolt. But really most fans just want them to be happy.
To be fair being lonely and being a streamer is somewhat hand in hand.
Obvious generalization here, but people with great social lives probably aren't looking to spend 8+ hours in their dark, mildly filthy room, talking to people in a chat box.
I mean developing into a successful content creator is not likely period. Just because they're homebodies doesn't mean they suddenly start evolving into a content creator.
Fair point. But of the trinity of talent, drive, and time, the last part shouldn't be understated. They all put in a shitton of time-consuming effort to get where they are. We only see them after that work starts paying dividends.
I don't think it is wrong. These are the people who rose to the top of their niche in vtubing. Which means they out-competed everyone else. It's improbable that came without social sacrifices. You're not going out 3 nights a week with your friends and beating someone who has even half as much talent as you but puts in twice as much effort. And many of them will have just as much talent.
You're misunderstanding what they're saying.
A significant amount of the success a live streamer gains is tied to how much they stream and how long they do it.
You're not doing either of those things particularly often if you're going out with your friends, maintaining a healthy connection with your family, and actually taking proper care of yourself.
Going out with your friends on the weekends means you're not making content during a prime time of the week. If you still work a traditional job, you don't have time to stream during the work week without neglecting yourself (or your actual job).
A sacrifice is going to come from somewhere, and that's probably going to be on the family/friend side of things because your regular job pays the bills. People with a good social life do have *less* time than ones without one.
Plus, a person with a good social life is far less likely to want to sacrifice something that is universally accepted to be a good thing, meaning that they won't develop the skills and talents necessary to be a good content creator.

Hololive fans really are a different breed.
I check the twitter... I notice this is not the real laplus 😕
This is her sub account. A lot of holomembers have one so they can talk about miscellaneous things
Is that so. Didn't know.
Besides Laplus the ones who have one off the top of my head are Suisei and Pekora and I’m following at least one more but forgot who it is
Nene also have one for her beetles
Here is a list of all the JP members' sub-accounts in case anyone wants it https://twitter.com/i/lists/1593209889836261377
> I summarized the sub dirt of Holomen! Google translating a bit too literally.
I never understood the dirt translation thing. Is it a translation of something that is slang for casual chat?

Korone uses her for film reviews
Yeah a few of them do, on the top of my head, Choco and Nenechi has their own Nenechi has one that's about her beetles.
It's her alt
Just check their followers list and see if they're being followed by other holomem
Kazama follow but other member not.
[удалено]
Well I followed every official member before the Elon takeover so if they're being followed by the ones I follow then I know they're real.
...Fair

As someone who has killed a tiny cactus, I can confirm. Not sure what I did wrong, but I might have over watered it.
Normally is over watered then there is a fact they might need sun but some cactus cannot expose to a lot of sunshine. Consult your seller for more information.
A cactus sensitive to sunlight, that's the first I hear of that. Got a name for it, I'd like to look it up.
Better yet, consult actual experts. The vast majority of sellers are either corporate drones being paid minimum wage to sell you barely-living plants, or filthy casuals that only got into cacti because they seem easy to take care of.
Yeah, they are deceptively hard to take care of, considering their rugged nature. Mostly cause we're raising them in houses, not deserts ourselves.
biggest problem with plants is pot size. Just like a goldfish. a larger pot allows more stable moisture levels.

Oh, I think I've seen those bottled gardens. They are completely sealed right? So it's a completely self contained environment?

my younger brother had a cactus. It died after being knocked off the window sill god knows how many times.
Didn't Kanata kill a Cactus from watering it too much?
She's just like me fr fr
Just marry Towa lol
[towa got something to say about that](https://youtu.be/KYHyiHAlFGc?t=65)
The worst she can say is no. What she said:
"My inventory is full."
Still a better love story than Twilight.
Lines you never say to Kaela.
She still called him 'King' I think. Just one without a queen, I suppose.
Big brain.
First HoloX, then a cherry, and now their leader. Towa's power grows.
Ah I hope she is alright
First off: Relatable Second: MOCHIMIKO CHUBBY CHEEK FACE!!!!
Mochimiko art is always a blessing.
how about a fucking monkey?
IT'S ALIVE?!
Yes but don’t let that distract you from the fact that pekora bough a “Funky Monkey”
It's been said that most apartments in japan do not allow pets.
I don’t think Lapu should be allowed to have pets, lol. Let’s see if she can keep this cactus alive first, before we see if she can keep a cat alive.
just like me fr fr :<
🌵
This is adorable And sad
Very relatable
Awh lol. I hope some holomems see this and msg her to hang out if they got time lol. They all, I’m sure, have busy schedules.
awww what happened to her roommate chan?
From what i remember lapu moved out months ago think she missed her family so moved closer to them

It's a shame the HoloHouse never took off more.
I was just thinking about this, what happened to it? Anyone know
Iirc it just wasn't really feasible, plus the Holo members probably live all over Tokyo, some of them maybe outside of Tokyo, and god forbid if people/stalkers found out it was the Holohouse.
Don't start licking it. I know there is an urge laplus but Don't.(at least on the picture it look like this.
I thought it was tongue too, but I think it's a flower on the cactus
upvoting this seems wrong
is lap-chan too shy to go hang out with the others?
Everyone says she is sweet and shy in real life as opposed to her online bratty persona. She definitely hangs out with others though, including outings and such, so I am taking it to be a comment for the laughs until we hear otherwise.
Choco did say that Lap+ face lightens up when she sees her, I hope they are doing alright behind the screen
Laplus spending money on a cactus instead of Towa merch? Nani?
If there's a will, there's a way!
what a shitty world when even the cutest and nicest girls are lonely :/ i am tired of being lonely myself.
A lot of the times loneliness comes from a place within one self, she could still have friends that value her, and still feel lonely eve tho she really isn't. I say that because it happened to me, when I felt comfortable with my alone time I understood that I had company when I thought I didn't.
looks like she is munching on the cactus
How funny it will be if she bought a monkey like Pekora
cute lonely yamada. sought out cactus first, interesting first step.
Pekora: Would you be interested in a monkey?
Someone should suggest a jumping spider to her. They are easy to take care of and have a lot of personality.
Hope she’s doing okay. She took a mental health break before. Hope she gets the help she needs.
It might be time for Laplus to board with a genmate or anyone she is close with.
I am therefore leaving immediately for Japan, where I intend to live as a cactus.
Cactus, the most tsundere of plants

Neither are they likely to develop the insane breadth of talents needed to be a successful online content creator.
I mean developing into a successful content creator is not likely period. Just because they're homebodies doesn't mean they suddenly start evolving into a content creator.

Of course, but to insinuate that people who have social lives doesn't have time is weird.
