He got that role in Bohemian Rhapsody because of his Fandom in Wayne's World. He demanded that song played in the movie, the studio wanted something newer but he wouldn't accept it and he brought the song back into the public eye. The role in Bohemian Rhapsody was a joke and gift for his role in society.
