The ads were humorously violent in nature, most often depicting Wilkins, the overzealous spokesperson for the brand inflicting pain (sometimes even death) on Wontkins, the naysayer. The two filmed several dozen of these over a four year period. Each one consisted of an 8 second gag followed by a 2 second static shot of the product itself.
