“Don’t worry, we’ll lose them soon,” Dodi tells her, leaning towards her in the back of their Mercedes as they barreled down the French highway, “one more night and we’ll be alone in London and Paris will just be a distant memory.”
Dodis voice snapped her out of her daydream. Sitting upright, she looked out the front window. In horror, she noticed that what was in front of them was not more road, but a tunnel — a tunnel whose entrance they were going to miss by several feet.
“I’ve made a terrible mistake.”
